The D-Blend Artifact offers excellent grip with a slightly softer, chalky feel for confident putts and touchy approaches. This baseline plastic beats in quickly, adding extra understability and enhancing the disc’s natural glide—perfect for smooth hyzer flips and floaty finesse throws.

    D-Blend Details

D-Blend plastic is a basic, inexpensive plastic blend (compare to Innova DX plastic). It has good grip and medium softness. It is more easily beat-in when used than premium plastics, but is preferred by many players for putters and mid-range discs where grip is important.

    Mister So & So
My Flight Ratings: 2/3/-1/0 Very Beginner Friendly Throwing Distance: 200 Straight Score: Very Understable

Though it is a little too deep for my taste, the rim feels good with different grips in my smallish hands. A full power throw will get the disc turning pretty easy. Nose up and it wants to gently land wherever you throw it. With a lower power throw, was able to get a pretty consistent flight. I will keep this in my bag for field days and work on hyzerflips and wide turning shots. It's a unique feel and has a fun flight I'll continue to experiment with.  It seems this disc is a type of shot I see infrequently, or have other discs that I use to create the same shapes. I would, however, recommend this disc to a new player that likes the deeper feel and wants a disc that can help them grow.
