If you’re looking for a putter that flies like a Tank, reach for the Millennium/Hyzer Bomb Tank. This unique putt and approach disc has a broad flat profile and an extra wide thumb tack grip. The beefy rim of this disc gives it a solid feel that helps it stop like a tank. This is the ideal disc when you don’t want to overshoot, or skip past the basket. When thrown with power, the Tank is a fairly straight flying disc with minimal glide. It may exhibit a slight degree of high speed turn followed by a very minimal end of flight fade

It is a great overstable throwing putter, which they beat into a controllable putter. My go-to for sure.

Disclaimer: I throw one backhand shot a round, the rest are forehand (flex, flat, hyzer). My experience is from a forehand perspective but I have thrown these for awhile (the original, and the hyzerbomb return since it released).

Flight: pretty much a slower, less overstable pig. The soft version has always been flat top for me, which seems to handle torque extremely well (I can forehand at full power and not worry about the 2 speed). Crashes extremely soft. which, when you work on that soft forehand approach flick, this disc can work magic for 200 and in. I have played bad rounds and some worse, but short approaches with this disc always boosted my confidence. The Hard tanks have been domey for me, which has turned into my putter. Those feel identical to beadless rhynos...

My overall opinion: I bag two domey hard tank putters, and 3 soft tanks (beat in, new, and the panzer edition) for everything else up to 200. Do I have backups? Absolutely. Will I hope I can still find more when I've sank mine? Probably. If you like Pigs, but want something with more feel and touch to it, try this.

I wanted a disc with little glide for my approach shots where I just wanted to stick it. That’s where the Tank comes in handy. It also ignores wind if under 14 mph. Forehand flicks work well as long as I don’t try to go for too much. Go to a different disc if you want something over 200 feet. Backhand power grip is OK, but a little inconsistent in my release. Backhand putter grip works better even though it’s a smidge deep and doesn’t fit perfectly in my hand.

Hard plastic is too smooth for me and I can’t get a good grip. The Soft plastic is much better for gripping and is the one I put in my bag. In my last round of golf, this Tank was used 9 times.

Love this disc. Like a sort of baby zone for short approaches. I am also putting quite happily with it now too. The black ones have super grip. [Note: I have to edit the HTML in order to post these reviews. The Type here… prompt is hidden]

LOVE THIS DISC!!!! Sloped Green? Need to Park your Approach to Save Par? Last thing you need is a Roller? Then look no further, the Tank is the Putter you need in your Bag...NOW!

This Disc flies Straight and True with a minimal Fade. And best of all, when it Hits, it Sits. In Fact, I've never thrown a Disc that makes a "THUD" when it lands, whether its from 10ft out or 60ft. The Tank will deliver every time with Pen Point Precision.

Need a Brick in your Bag? Then look no further, purchase yourself a Tank, the only regret you'll have is not purchasing one sooner.
