The Guru Short Slacker is a low-profile beginner-friendly distance driver designed to give growing players more distance than the driver found in the starter set.

When thrown with high speeds the Short Slacker exhibits a significant amount of high speed turn for gliding S-Curve flight paths. New players will find that the Short Slacker has a significant amount of low speed end of flight fade.

My Flight Ratings: 10/5/-2.5/1.5 Very Beginner Friendly Throwing Distance: N/A Straight Score: N/A

Wow does this disc go straight! For an 11 speed, I felt like I hardly had to throw this disc for it to stay on a good line and carry itself down field. I can imagine that putting a lot of power on this disc would cause it to flip over, but for a softer drive I was getting a solid 350 feet out of it. I don't think anybody should be turned off by the higher speed rating, it would be a great beginning driver!

Not sure why they call this disc a short slacker as this is an absolutely long bomber for new and low power disc golfers.

I found that my blue 160g Short Slacker was far more understable than the flight ratings indicate. On a full power throw the short slacker just turns too much and crashes off to the right without going the distance. But, with a hyzer release and adequate hight I could push the Short Slacker out to around 350 feet of total distance.

Unfortunately, this disc (and apparently the Sune brand as a whole) is only available in a base plastic, and it is one of the more inferior base plastics. It is not very durable and not a plastic I would want in a driver when you know you're bound to hit trees and other obstacles at high speeds.

This is a great first driver for beginners and would be excellent in a 5 disc Sune Sport disc golf set, but because of the low quality plastic this is not a great disc for an avid disc golfer.
