    D-Plastic Details

D-Plastic from Guru Disc Golf is the equivalent of Innova DX plastic. It it somewhat stiff and has a pretty good grip. It is preferred for putters, mids and starter drivers. Since it is a baseline plastic, it may not take a long-term beating without showing some wear and tear, but the price point is great for new players.

I won a Midgard in an Infinite Facebook giveaway. I am new to disc golf and am still learning about the different molds, plastics and disc control. At my age (68) executing an X-step-and-release maneuver isn't practical. So I'm using my many decades old Frisbee style backhand throw flatfooted. I was lucky to send a disc 125 feet. One week after getting the Midgard in the mail and already ordering 2 more and throwing them, too, I have added 100 to 150 feet more to my distance. This is a game changer and I'm having fun parking tee shots and birdieing holes I was bogeying two weeks ago. Today  I parked all three within 20 feet from the tee pad on a par three 291 ft hole.
