If the Berg is too deep for forehands for you, or if you just want a Berg that's FASTER, then this is your winner. Or, if you hate the bead on a Devil Hawk, this is the winner.

The Warspear shares the same thumbtrack as the Devil Hawk, but it gets the beadless and angular Shaman bottom rather than the scalloped and beaded Chief OS bottom that the Devil Hawk gets. The Devil Hawk is a lot more stable, like a glideless Zone in a way. The Warspear is a bit blockier than a Berg, more square than round, but much shallower and still very comfortable forehand and backhand. Most Warspears end up with a slight puddle top or a flat top that yield good speed without excessive glide. Even Warspears that end up a touch domey still fly relatively the same, just a touch more glide and slightly less stability. It's a great balance between a brick and a midrange, somewhere right in between there. That allows it to excel under full power when you need a bit more distance for your approach or drive, but also maintain a predictable flight when you power down for shorter approaches. Under full power, it will hold any angle you put it on and give a very gentle fade. It holds anhyzer, hyzer, and straight lines all with ease. Powered down, it will give a little more fade but it stays pretty flat to minimize skips and rollaways. Don't expect this to replace your Zones, unless you're throwing Jawbreaker plastic. It's a lot straighter than what has become popular lately, but not to any sort of detriment. Straight approaches are crucial in tight fairways and give a lot more options than trying to flex something overstable.

If you're looking for the most versatile putt/approach disc on the market, this is for you. Flick forehands, touch backhands, anything in between. It excels. One thing to note is that it will act more overstable on a backhand than a forehand if you have a bit of wobble on your forehand release. For full power shots, backhand I'd give this 3/2/0/3 and forehand I'd give 3/3/0/1.75.

I like the warspear. It's a thin fairly stable putter with a thumbtrack. It does not have a lot of glide. Comparing it to the Devilhawk, I found the war spear to be straighter and slightly longer. The war spear also is a decent short range putter. I like the thumbtrack and feel of the sure grip plastic. The disc is a good flick putter as well, however it flies fairly straight without a lot of fade. Not sure if I got a broken one or not, but it just flies really straight with not a lot of glide. It's very similar to a Kastaplast berg in flight, but maybe a little faster.

The Warspear is an overstable putter from Gateway. The Warspear has a thumbtrack similar to that of a Rhyno's, and a similar, but more overstable flight. I could really put some power behind this disc and trust it to not turnover. I really liked throwing this disc on short approaches. In the circle, this disc was not for me, just a bit too much stability.

This disc is OVERSTABLE.   I think the info about it was released early and not accurate.  It is Overstable, not understable or straight.  I give it flight #: 3/2/0/2.5

Easy grip, feels nice.  Low glide, great for short approaches or headwind power shots.  Putts well and is nice when you want to avoid gliding past the basket.

Cool putter, maybe not the primary putter of my choice but it has its uses, something fairly slow, glideless and overstable.   decent disc

The plastic has fantastic grip and I love the beveled top. I just started push putting and a friend gave me one to try. Fell in love with it right away. The low profile is perfect for how I hold my putters and comes out true every time.

I purchased a second one and it had a little bit of a dome to it, which I didn't like for putting, so I use that one for upshots. Hits and sticks.

Neat grip, nice plastic, cool flight, but love the way this thing sticks to what ever. When it hits the ground it stops fast. No hit the ground and roll o.b. Like it for downhill putts.

If you're looking for a disc that won't go far, you may want to try the Warspear. For a putter, this thing is incredibly overstable, and flys like a brick. I'm not a fan of the flight or the tumbtrack on the warspear, but it's probably great in the wind.

The Warspear is a stable driving putter for me with a good solid hand-feel that works with the thumb-trak to make this a confident thrower. It is slow and straight, fading out reliably with touch shots. Thrown hard, it turns right. As a putter it's a bit too much in my hand, but if you like the feel of a Magic, this will be familiar.
