nice slightly understable bomber. doesn't flip like a scorch, but will need some hyzer if you throw 350+. diamond isn't my favorite plastic but it's durable and this is a good mold. tried an aura, and it just doesn't hang in the air like these. for something less stable I think these are pretty consistent. I'd say it flies somewhere between a champ and star tern. if you're looking for a somewhat drifty 12 speed that won't burn over, this is a good fit

Holy glide batman! This is that slightly understable 12 speed you've been looking for between all those overstable Destroyers.

The G-One is an exceptional 12 speed driver from Gateway Discs. It maintains a pretty standard 12 speed depth and wing size but somehow it feels smaller in the hand, like a 10.5/11 speed, which lends itself to great control. Translucent/clear Diamond G-Ones seem to have more dome and fly a bit more understable than opaque diamond plastic. These don't feature the big central Gateway tooling that some people with larger hands or fan grips tend to dislike. I think in general Gateway has moved on from that in anything that isn't a Wizard.

For my 400 foot arm, I throw this on a touch of hyzer and watch it flip somewhat quickly and glide pretty far to the right with a predictable but soft fade to the left. Despite its slight understability, it does hold up in a headwind quite nicely. For people who roll over on a Journey, for people who don't want to pay Discmania DD1 prices, or for people who want the flight of a Discraft Scorch with a more traditional feeling disc, this is the pick for you. I don't find that it's very torque resistant on a power forehand, but I also don't have the cleanest release. Gateway's plastic is always affordable and consistent, and after being known for putters only, this is the first of many new Gateway drivers that rival the best of other manufacturers.

This is a must try for slower arms to get easy distance and great control. Even power throwers will get good mileage from this as a tailwind bomber or an easy disc to power down on.
