    165g Evo
    It has an ENORMOUS dome.
The underside where the rim meets the flight plate is rounded. The rim is fairly deep, so it doesn't affect the grip negatively (unlike some gateway mids in my experience). Very comfortable for my hand.
It tends to hold whatever line I throw it on, but it sets itself apart when thrown on a big floating flex anhyzer. The enormous dome just lets this thing ride the wind for days. However, with head winds the dome slows the disc down. I'd rate it slower than a 9 because of the large dome.
Did I mention this disc has the biggest dome of any disc I've ever seen?
    Large dome.
    Very big dome.

Great disc at 170g Evo. HPP plastic for tight fairway drives and controlled anny shots.  Originally bought a Champion Valk. to replace but end up throwing the Apache unless it's windy.

I won an evolution one of these in a raffle last summer. I wasn't too sure if I wanted to keep it, but I am so glad now that I did. This disc is so reliable and predictible for me. I trust this for long straight shots that I do not want to turn over. Mine is a pretty stiff orange one, and It just flies so straight and so reliable. The first hole I ever threw it on was about 330 ft. I just threw it out to the right a little bit and it parked right next to the basket. I feel like this disc does for me what a lot of people are loving about the Innova Thunderbird. If you like the Gateway plastic and want a reliable 9 speed driver, this is definitely the way to go!

One of the most versatile control drivers on the market. Long anhyzers, need to park the second shot on a long par 4? This is what u need. Greatly improved my fairway game. U can control this disc even while flicking it!. I throw primarily in a wooded course, but even then it carves up the fairway through the trees. Get an Evo Hpp Apache today! P.s. Gateway just ran a new batch of evo apaches that are flatter on top and a hair more overstable finish.

This is a fantastic disc. It was my first driver in Evolution plastic, and I still love it. I lost it in a lake, and it broke my heart, so I bought 2 new ones. I love it for my control forehand. It releases so smooth and consistently, it's just awesome. It works great for fairway backhand shots as well. It has little ridges on the rim that I love, because it really feels nice in the hand.

I have a 174 Apache in Evolution plastic. When I first got this disc, it felt really floppy and had a pretty large dome on it. That didn't matter. On an anhyzer release, it holds the angle all the way and glides for days. On a flat release, it stays pretty straight and fades a little at the end. The Apache also holds a nice long anhyzer line.
