Not quite what I expected from the flight numbers on the disc, but still a great mid nonetheless. To me it flew very, very straight, with some turn over. It wasn't overstable in any category that I'd call stable. I'd compare it to an Infintie Discs Tomb. Like... a 0, 1 turn and fade.

Other than that, it felt great. It feels like smaller diameter mid, so it's easy to grip and release. It has a slim profile so it's perfect for driving with off the tee. I enjoyed this disc once I got used to it. Seems to be a slight trend with these galaxy discs- not quite the numbers advertised, but great flyers once you figure them out. I'd read the reviews to see if they're right for you.

I would consider the Galaxy Discs Orbit more of driving putter than a midrange, but this is a solid overall disc that I liked for both backhand and forehand throws. The Orbit has a nice flat top and EClass plastic gives it a nice grippy feel. I really liked this disc for backhand hyzer shots and straigtline forehand throws. The Oribt reminded me of the Infinite Discs Tomb in flight, and has a really similar feel as well. For me the Orbit is not as overstable as the printed flight ratings indicate. It has a consistent end of flight fade, but is more of a straight stable flyer than anything else. Overall, the Galaxy Orbit is a solid all purpose disc and works great for one disc rounds on small courses.

I found the Orbit mid-range to be quite trusty on the course. It has a moderate fade and I was able to place it nicely on my approach shots. The time feels almost indistinguishable from a putter rim in my hand, so it felt almost like throwing a more overstable putt-and-approach disc. That isn't a bad thing. I could throw it up higher and count on a fade-back to get around trees, and I could keep it low with a little more zing to stay straight toward the basket. The soft "E Class" plastic can get beat up a bit, but this mid-range is sturdy enough, and I wasn't throwing it very hard, so it weathered my tester rounds better than the drivers.

I'd say that the Orbit is a good mid-range for players at any skill level. Experienced players will know how to release it to get exactly what they want. Newer players may get a little more fade out of it than with other, straight-flying mid-range discs, but not dramatically. It would help them learn how to use the fade on short approach shots.
