The Firehawk is the first disc from Fourth Circle that is aimed towards beginners and lower arm speeds. However, the Firehawk will be useful when thrown by experienced and powerful throwers as well. It will flip up to flat when thrown with less speed, or will be a nice turnover fairway driver when thrown at higher speeds. No matter the arm, the Firehawk will be the perfect tool for your bag.

Disc - Firehawk in Ekka Plastic

Just to pre-frame things, I have been playing more seriously for around 1 year but have played on and off for about 8 years. I am right hand dominant with a pretty even split between forehand and backhand shots. My honest drive distance is around 275-300 feet with a max of around 350 on a good day.

The Firehawk was a disc I wanted to try since I saw a review about it and I have not been disappointed! The plastic has a very unique feel, when you grip the plastic you can feel very little ridges almost like an old school; vinyl record. It is not uncomfortable and has not impacted the flight of the disc from my observations, but just kinda interesting.

It has been excellent as a go to driver for long flex tee shots. It has a decent amount of turn so I have only used it on open holes since I do not trust myself to throw it through tight gaps. Im sure it would do well as a hyzer flip disc if you like that type of shot and have the arm speed. When thrown right it has great glide and will go far. Some of my longest throws have been with this disc during field work.

Overall this is an excellent lower speed driver perfect for distance flex shots in open space.

Nice flying, slightly under stable fairway driver! I like putting this on a nice hyzer flip line and it carries great distance. Very beginner friendly but it has a spot in the bag for an advanced player. Great disc!

I bought this disc for a chance to review it and compare it to my Infinite Sphinx and Infinite Centurion.

I would say the #'s appear pretty true to form.  The disc fly's very much like my Sphinx which is rated with a -3 turn but I feel is closer to a -2.  The Firehawk has some easy turn from the disc and is a laser beam when throwing it with slight hyzer release.

I feel like this disc could be a go-to fairway for a new or beginner skilled player and for a more Advance player could be used as a nice wooded tunnel type disc.

I would also compare this disc to the my Discraft XL as well which was the first fairway I bought when I first started playing, and it just happens to have the same #'s.
