The Chicane by Finish Line is an overstable approach putter that can handle confident backhand and forehand throws. It has a flat top and a comfortable rim for easy grip and will hold the line on any approach shot with a solid fade at the end of flight. The Chicane is a valuable tool on the fairway and will help you park your shot for a solid finish at the basket.

I got my hands on some Forged Chicanes and it's official: I'm a Chicane guy. Besides it's way more fun to say Chicane with a hard 'CH' sound.

For the Composite I'm getting a really good 'Zone-like' flight and my review on the first runs still stands. The Forged is noticably less stable and gives me a very 'Tempo-like' flight. You may think that these may the two over lap, but they don't. I've been throwing the Forged for my forehand approaches and have been throwing some great nose up backhand upshots too. On full power I do get some stand up, but I would say it's more 'drifty' and not 'flippy' if that make sense.

All in all this is a great pairing and I've been loving this for forehands and backhands in both plastics.

The Chicane flies fairly similar to a Zone, but it doesn't fade quite as hard, and it even has some turn to it at slower speeds. It does feel great for forehand or backhand, unlike a lot of other approach discs that only feel good for backhands. The Composite plastic is a little bit grippier than ESP or Z line, so it could be a great replacement for a Zone or others like it during the winter months. It's worth giving it a try though, as it feels nicer than previous runs of Finish Line Discs in Composite plastic.

Great disc, plastic is the best i have felt from Finish Line

Flew very much like a toro.  I think this is a great addition to their lineup.  Very solid approach disc

This is such a good flight. Had to google what a Chicane was, but once I saw it just made so much sense. It doesn't quite fly like my Zones, but I don't think it's worth changing the numbers for. They're super close and I really only noticed a difference when I threw them side by side. The Chicane feels super good in the hand and way better than previous runs of Composite plastic. This is giving my Zones a serious run for their money and I can't wait to possibly see this in Forged and possibly a base plastic of some sort!
