The NILA stands out as an overstable putt and approach disc, distinguished by its exceptional high-speed torque resistance. This feature ensures reliable performance and trustworthiness in windy conditions, making it an ideal choice for players with powerful throws or those who require consistent disc fading under any circumstances.

The name "Nila" has its roots in Finnish, where it translates to "phloem" in English. Phloem is an essential plant tissue that plays a vital role in transporting nutrients—most notably, sugars generated through photosynthesis—from the leaves to other parts of the plant, including the roots and stems. This process is pivotal in distributing organic compounds across the plant, promoting growth, and sustaining the health of various plant tissues.

My favorite overstable throwing putter! I'd compare it to a star Aviarx3, if not a touch more overstable. I have the prototype stamped mold so perhaps it's a bit more overstable than current runs, tough to say. I throw this disc for short holes or approaches that I want to have moving left (backhand) fairly quick out of the hand. You can also pump it and get it to ride nice flex lines that stay straight for most the flight before fading. It also has noticeably less glide than other putters, which I find useful. I think the glide 2 is accurate. Compared to something like the Axiom Envy, it's a deeper hand feel and fades much harder and has less glide, despite both having fade numbers of 2. I love the premium feel of the plastic. I find it a tad more grippy than Star plastic, a little flexible, and just a great overall feel. Great durability. For reference I throw about 400-430 on full power drives. More like 380 throwing golf lines on the course. The Nila isn't well known, but a gem. I've thrown many molds in that overstable approach disc slot and this one is high on my list.

I use this for BH approaches. It is deep enough to get a really strong grip but isn't a bucket lid by any means. The semi-flat top and slight shoulder probably help with that. It has enough stability to be thrown into a headwind and is torque resistant, which is hard to find in a throwing putter. My favorite aspect of this disc is just how slow it really is. It doesn't have huge distance potential and that's honestly what I was looking for in this disc.

Some flashing of note but not so much that it should scare you away from the company. They have some really strong molds.

Very nice throwing putter, the plastic Exel uses is really nice and what is keeping this in the bag over other alternatives. Handles a powered down forehand relatively well and you can really pump one back hand with it.
