ecoFLEX X-Out Details
Elevation Disc Golf's ecoFLEX X-Out plastic is a vulcanized rubber blend, making it different from Elevation's previous silicone blends, just with minor cosmetic defects. ecoFLEX is made of 30% post-consumer medical scrap, such as rubber gloves. This makes it about one-third recycled material! The vulcanized nature of this rubber blend vastly improves the durability of the discs. ecoFLEX is very puncture resistant and should hold up very well over time.
The grip is fantastic on ecoFLEX (think pink eraser), and the blend doesn't pick up dust and dirt as easily as Elevation's silicone plastics do. ecoFLEX is the stiffest plastic that Elevation Disc Golf makes. It still has the ability to bend upon impact, making it possible to stick the landing, but it feels stiffer in the hand.
