The Koi is designed to glide to the basket with ease. This straight-to-understable putter will hold whatever line you put it on, and Elevation's floppy rubber material will ensure it sticks and grabs onto the chains. It was approved by the PDGA on May, 2021

    ecoFLEX Details

Elevation Disc Golf's ecoFLEX plastic is a vulcanized rubber blend, making it different from Elevation's previous silicone blends. ecoFLEX is made of 30% post-consumer medical scrap, such as rubber gloves. This makes it about one-third recycled material! The vulcanized nature of this rubber blend vastly improves the durability of the discs. ecoFLEX is very puncture resistant and should hold up very well over time.

The grip is fantastic on ecoFLEX (think pink eraser), and the blend doesn't pick up dust and dirt as easily as Elevation's silicone plastics do. ecoFLEX is the stiffest plastic that Elevation Disc Golf makes. It still has the ability to bend upon impact, making it possible to stick the landing, but it feels stiffer in the hand.

I putt mostly with a Fierce but this is my "safety" putter. If I have a death putt or dangerous slope near the basket, or if I'm feeling uncomfortable with my regular putter, I will go to this version of the Koi. The regular Koi is a bit too floppy for me but this one feels stiff enough that I'm comfortable doing my regular putt. It's finicky in the wind and wet conditions. And it's a bit more stable for me than I was expecting. But that's a good thing. Also, there's something very unsatisfying about making putts with it because it doesn't bang the chains like 99% of discs do. That's very forgivable because it really is an excellent putter in the right situations. But it does take time to figure out when and when not to use it.
