The new Iridium is the first disc to be released by Element Discs. The Iridium is a beadless putt and approach disc featuring one of the thinnest flight plates out there. The flight plate has a subtle thumb track for consistent grip and alignment every time. This versatile disc is great for putts and upshots, as well as driving off the tee. The Iridium also excels as a spike hyzer bomber that stops dead in its tracks when it hits the ground.

Awesome disc. I'm very new to the sport and was frusterated with throwing this at first, but once I tightened up my BH form I started to find myself throwing this disc quite often on the short and technical wooded courses that all around my area. I'd say this disc is slightly beginner friendly because when you release this disc it carries whatever line you put it on for the first 50-75 ish feet (for me) no matter what. If you release this thing poorly it isn't the most forgiving, BUT I've really started to find this disc extremely easy to release properly making it very helpful for beginners that need a consistent and safe approach shot in the 50-175 foot range.

I've found myself using this disc heavily on both tee shots and approaches. If you need a safe 100% shot, this disc will go exactly where you want it with consistency. If you have a shortish technical shot, this disc handles many different lines with ease. Like I said, this disc holds whatever release line you put it on for around the first 30% or so of its flight. If you're releasing it flat, it'll stay flat and get some nice glide that will hold until it gets that OS dump off to the left on a RHBH. I wouldn't say the dump off at the end is huge, but it is definitely a more aggressive finish than the "fade" most other discs have which helps with consistency and even shaping shots. If you release it on a hyzer, it'll cruise through the hyzer line for 40% of the flight, glide out some more distance, than dump/spike to the ground. The thing I've found myself loving this disc for more than any other in my bag though are tight flex shots anywhere from 60 ish feet out to 225 feet. Release it anhyzer and it curves on that line for like 35% of the flight, flattens out and glides for another 30% ish, than comes back left for the finish. The S-shots and flex lines this disc produces are amazing, consistent, and can be manipulated to create the same smooth S line at any distance between 60-225 feet (maybe even more if you really want throw your arm into it).

I've found myself amazed at how easy it is to produce technical shots consistently, with such low effort, at such a large variety of speeds. I don't particularly like using this for actual putting within 30-40 feet, but that is simply because the disc is very wide and flat. The plastic is extremely gummy and grips the chains/ground, I just don't like the feel of it when I'm in a putting stance personally.

Its very wide, extremeeely flat, and has a short inner lip (about 2/3 of my finger tip). Its plastic is extremely gummy/sticky, but with the short lip its easy to get a consistent release with this thing and I never find myself releasing early, or pulling through to far.

Amazing disc, probably my top candidate for a single disc round despite it not being my favorite putting putter (again this is just personal preforance on the feel of it in my putting stance). Numbers are pretty accurate, though when you power up on flex teeshots using the iridium I'd say you can get more of a 3.5/4 ish glide out of it, while the OS dump at the end prevents tailwinds from carrying it too far.

I have looked long and hard for a putter that I can use reliably year round and in virtually any weather condition. That being said, I believe I have found it in the Terra Iridium.

The Terra plastic is just grippy enough that it feels good in the hand and holds on to the chains, the flight is reliable and fights heavy wind (especially if you putt with some force behind it)

It feels like Element's response to the Wizard or the Aviar. A reliable all-purpose putter you can count on at any course you play.

The Iridium is a nice thrower, for sure.

It's a deepish putter, with a little thumb-trac and a pretty blunt nose. It's not quite as rounded as the Plutonium, but still pretty comfortable in the hand.

It flies a lot like a Rhyno for me. It's a slow flight that drops from the sky as it hooks up at the end. It's a nice disc for short drives or approaches where you can't afford to overshoot.

Likely not going to be in my bag, but it's a decent disc none the less!

The iridium is a gateway warlock (i think)bottom with the Reptilian Disc golf made Top.  It is a slow, relatively low-glide overstable putter.  I find it very similar to the RDG Scale, which is a Wizard bottom with a more OS top with slight thumb-track.
This discs flight #'s I would give it 2/2.5/0/2
i did get 2 iridiums, one is more pliable and weighs 172g flight more 2/3/0/2
The off-white 175g is more firm and flight closest to 2/2/0/2.5, it seems to nose dive a lot more, making it great for throwing upshots that do not want to go too far past the mark.
I really like all the Putters I've tried with the RDG top.  The feel is full (bulky, but in a good way) There is no bead, feels like a beadless aviar got pumped up.  It flies great lines, stable-to overstable.  Holds straight but will absolutely hyzer out (unless given a steep anhyzer release)
On the anhyzer release the disc follows the path and flattens making a relatively flat landing.   Great all around approach disc.   The RDG Serpent is the same idea but much straighter, stable, not overstable.  These two compliment each other very well.
SO, if you're looking for a nice slow overstable approach disc, this is a good one.  In my opinion, best when used to throw a full shot knowing that it will sit down.  This disc putts well, does not seem/act that OS when putting, the OS nature seems to kick in more with a throw.  If I am going to putt with one of these slower putters I prefer the RDG Serpent as it is very stable....as in straight as an arrow...a slow, glideless brick of an arrow. Best wind putter I've ever used.

**PS: I want to know who the monster is who throws this thing 250'! haha, the inbound flight chart shows this going that far....i don't think so, If I TRY I could maybe reach 150-200...and I have a decent arm, so the flight line i think is a little off mainly as this disc is usually thrown from within 120 feet or so.  Great in that 60-100 range

Bought one before our league's monthly tag tournament this weekend and I'm glad I did.  Took the rec division because my putting was on fire!  Only missed one putt inside the circle that round.  The Iridium seems less overstable than the numbers, I have a sort of "spush" putt and don't generate a lot of spin or power on my putts but there was very little fade inside the circle, but just enough to be very forgiving on longer putts.  The thumbtrack is hardly noticeable either and for me, would only come into play on approaches and drives, but not putting.  It is really very subtle.  Love this putter and will stock up on many more as soon as my budget allows!

I had the chance to throw the Iridium a little bit the other day. I'm not sure if one will ever find a place in my bag, but I think I would recommend it for a driving putter more than a putting putter. I say this mostly because of the thumb track feature on the top of the disc. When I would putt with the Iridium, I found it to mess with my release a little bit. However it fit well on my grip for driving shots.

I've enjoyed using this putter! It has a small thumb track around the top, it's pretty subtle though. It flies pretty true and straight. It'll hold whatever line you throw it on and has a pretty reliable fade right at the end. When putting short range, I don't see much fade, it just bee lines right into the Chains! It's spretty solid feeling, the plastic is similar to gateway soft/super soft plastic, so it had been nice puttery feel to it!
