My Flight Ratings: 10.5/6/-1.5/1.5 Somewhat Beginner Friendly Throwing Distance: 325 Straight Score: Slightly Understable

As others have mentioned this is not as understable as advertised. Atleast if you throw between 300-350. It flies similar to a trail or maybe star gorgon. It also feels a bit faster (it's rim width is compareable to 11 speeds). Once I accepted it wasn't flippy I was getting great distance with a long, pushing fade at the end. It can hold up to a bit of headwing and even FH if thrown with a little hyzer. It's somewhat compareable to a faster Essence for me.

The thing that sets this apart from others in the category is the plastic feel. The new Fuzion plastic is closer to Kastaplast K1 than previous versions. It also doesn't have the rounded bottom like the gorgon or Osprey. We will see he how it holds up over time. I would definetly be interested if they came out with on in the 160's as well.

My Flight Ratings: 10/6/-2/1 Very Beginner Friendly Throwing Distance: 450 Straight Score: Slightly Understable

This thing was bombing. It was super easy to throw and I was getting really smooth lines with it. The Treason wasn't as flippy as the numbers suggested. My I would say that the turn is closer to a -2 instead of a -3. I was comparing this to a Champ Gorgon and pulled out a Neutron Trail when I realized they had pretty similar in flights. Completely different hand feels. While the Gorgon feels like a chunky fairway driver the Treason feels sleek and fast.

It was really easy for my forehand and was getting some good drives with my meh sidearm. I even threw some lefties and it held really straight on those lower power shots. On a RHBH I was able to get some smooth flip ups and easy distance. If you're not in love with Gyro or the handfeel of the Gorgon then I'd recommend checking this one out.

The flight numbers of this disc are treasonous!
OK, they're not really that bad—but the Dynamic Discs Treason is definitely a bit more stable than I was expecting from the -3 turn rating.

Out of the box, my 173g Treason didn't flip up on hyzer or show much turn at all. It flew more like a slightly understable control driver than a true understable disc. Once I adjusted my expectations and gave it a flat release, I started getting smooth, straight flights over 300 feet with a reliable forward fade at the end. It’s surprisingly consistent and sneaky long for a speed 10.

Forehand? Surprisingly great. I expected it to burn over on me, but it handled moderate forehand power well—very straight with excellent control.

The feel is solid—good grip, smooth plastic, though the inner rim is a touch sharp and shallow. Not uncomfortable, just noticeable.

Overall, not a beginner disc, but a great fit for intermediate players who want a slightly understable driver that doesn't get squirrely. It won’t be replacing my main drivers, but I could easily bag this if I needed a dependable straight-to-fade option.
