The Culprit is an overstable approach disc. This approach disc offers a consistent flight, with a hard fade at the end. This reliable mold makes for a great go-to approach disc. Whether you need a consistent fade, or an approach mold that can handle the wind, or that utility mold.

I like my X-zone because it's the only plastic from Discraft I like. I wanted a more stable version of that, something that will skip slightly and be a little more overstable than my zone. I tried the Slammer but i just don't like the handfeel and it was too stable for what I wanted. This Culprit fits that slot perfectly.

Disc: Review for 175g Lucid Ice, Lucid, Hybrid, and Prime Moonshine.

Feel: The culprit is a shallow overstable beaded approach disc. I am fairly certain they use the bottom of the Harp mold and top of the Tactic mold. The shallow beaded feel is perfect for my smaller hands. The Lucid Ice is very stiff, with the Lucid slightly less stiff, Hybrid is medium stiff, and Prime Moonshine is fairly stiff. The Lucid and Lucid Ice have a fairly slick grip, the Hybrid has good grip, and Prime Moonshine has great grip. All plastics seem to be board flat, apart from the Hybrid which has a slight dome.

Flight: I throw overstable approach discs between 200 and 240 feet at full power. My rated flight numbers: 4/2.5/0/3. The Culprit does hold a straight line when thrown flat with a very reliable overstable finish typical of Zones, Harps, Pigs, and other similar discs without being as overstable as a Sockibomb Slammer or Justice.

Overall: If you find the Harp to be too deal and still prefer the beaded feel, this is the perfect overstable approach disc. The one complaint is they aren't offered in any of the Classic plastics (yet), specifically Classic Soft or Classic Blend.
