The Proximity Mine is another approach putter in the “Land Mine” family. It’s a large, boxy putter but with a more overstable, angled rim and a thumb track on the top of the flight plate. It is a stable, slow-speed approach disc that is great for short throws where accuracy is important and overthrowing the target is unwanted.

Simply put, this disc causes a "wait, this actually flies really well..." response from *literally* every person I've convinced to try it out. Yes it feels weird, but it doesn't make it hard to throw or grip. Forehand is a little less comfortable but again, it'll do what you're trying to get it to do. Lastly, this thing is ACCURATE. You can get ground play if you throw an angle with ground play in mind, but it'll sit and stay if you get it to land flat, even on hard dirt. It's pretty fantastic.
