The Gloom is a beadless putter with a slightly understable flight to resist premature fade when putting at the basket. It has a rim that is slightly altered from the popular Bleak putter from Doomsday, with a less rounded shoulder, a slightly shallower feel, and a more convex wing. This disc was PDGA approved on August 28, 2023.

    Ration Details

Ration plastic from Doomsday Discs is a base-line blend in their Prepper Line of discs. It is similar to other affordable base plastics on the market, like DX or Retro. It is a great choice for putters or for players who want their mids and drivers in a softer blend for different flight characteristics than premium blends.

The Gloom is a very comfortable beadless putter.  It's not too tall or deep, has a slightly rounded shoulder and a nice beveled edge where I can rest my index finger.  It has nice glide for a putter and putts well from C2 and out.  The ration plastic is a nice and grippy base plastic, you probably want to choose this one for a putting putter.  I haven't thrown it too much off the tee, I think both the Rot in isolation plastic and the Area 51 in Clandestine are great throwing putters so I'll probably stick with using the Gloom only for putts.

This putter feels very comfortable in my hand, both for putting and throwing. I am a fan of the ration plastic I think its Doomsday's best putter plastic. This disc feels similar to the discmania P1, the rim is slighly smaller on the gloom.
