The Doomsday Discs Frag may be one of the most overstable discs on the market. This may not be the most versatile disc, but the Frag will consistently fade hard, making it the perfect utility disc.

    C-4 Details

C-4 plastic from Doomsday Discs is a very flexible, soft, grippy plastic that is designed to absorb momentum when it hits the ground so that it sticks where it lands. It is particularly useful for utility discs, like the super-overstable discs that finish vertically.

I got this disc as a utility only disc.  Something that could fit better than a Tilt, and this is perfect for that.  The C4 plastic is very soft and flexible allowing the disc to stop exactly where it lands, unlike the Tilt that would give me a lot of ground action.  This disc just wants to be on the ground.  You can throw a huge anhyzer on a FH or BH and the Frag will just find the ground as fast as possible.  You are not going to get any distance, this is strictly a disc I use for under 150 feet and either obstacles or a bad stance that I need to throw a miracle shot high and have it drop quick.

I tried many throws to figure out which work best for this stupid silly flight number. Forehand...no. Backhand...no.  Throw disc upside down...painful for my thumb. Well. What are other kind of throw left to try?

Flight number doesn't have much glide so it worked best with tomahawk throw or throw like a baseball.  Be able to do small S flight...whatever you want to call it and then floated down glently to the ground like a fallen leaf at around 150 feet max for my average arm. That was an fun experiment. I also threw Diacmania Tilt.  Very similar. Tilt went further than Frag about 20 to 50 feet.  Not much difference.

This disc is great for tight dog-leg turns. It's hard to get any distance over 75 feet without throwing on anhyzer, anything else will turn over into a roller. Very much a utility disc.

Need to go 50 feet and then immediately to the left or right? You're not getting any distance off this. Life saver for scrambles deep in the woods.

I bought this disc because the numbers made me chuckle. I found the flight to be pretty close to the intended design. The rim has a big, chunky feel for me. Excellent for forehand. I was having some angle control issues with backhand. Ill give it time. For now, this is a fun, experimental shot sort of disc. Definitely worth trying out.

Awesome disc when available. The flight path is exactly described in diagram provided. Good glide and very little roll at least for me.

I bought this disc as a whim of supporting small business. Pleasantly surprised with the performance of this disc. I have a few doomsday discs in my cart. drivers will give a roll at times.
For beginners, look at doomsday line of drivers, mids and putters

is a great disc for overhand and thumbers.  definitely a scramble disc.  i will also use this for throwing a roller angle and having it flex out.  dead straight forehand roller as well.

If you're looking at this, you probably own a Stego, or are at least Stego-curious, so I'll be comparing the Frag to that as it's the closest functional analogue I've thrown.

+5 extra feet of distance over the Stego

    + Slightly better durability

    - ...but not by much. Still feels like base plastic.

    - Being stiffer causes it to get more ground play than a Stego. I want my borderline useless approach discs to stick when I throw them 100% power on 200ft approaches.

    - I don't want a longer Stego?

Not sure what, or who this disc is for  ¯\_(?)_/¯
