The Bunker Buster is an oversized 7-speed with the same diameter as a Condor or Zephyr and comes in weights ranging from 190-200 Grams. This disc is approved by the PDGA as of 7/31/23. This retooled disc is now more overstable than the prototype. It flies straight with insane glide for most of the flight before presenting a prounced end-fade. It can handle power and is extremely dependable for controlled thows across the fairway.

I field-tested the Bunker Buster with six other discs with near identical flight numbers (they all have a 5 Glide; one has a -0.5 Turn instead of a -1). I'd say the numbers are pretty spot on. The flights were very similar, the Bunker Buster just didn't go as far, its heavier weight being a factor as well: It is 199g -- 25 to 34 grams heavier than any of the others. It feels different in the hand because of the unusual weight and the diameter being an inch wider than the norm. The Survival grade plastic seems to be a decent quality and feels good. I think the unusual size and weight may be a turn-off for beginners, as they'll probably want their drivers to be something they can throw farther, and having more standarized disc sizes might help them learn their throwing more easily. Not a bad disc, but it seems more like a novelty disc than a regular-use or even a utility disc. Having it in a lighter weight might make it more appealing and useful. On the other hand, the heavier weight might be appealing for strong throwers in windy conditions, though I have to wonder if having that larger diameter might allow the wind to catch the flight plate more readily and make it less reliable in the wind.
