    Max Grip Details

Divigent Max Grip Plastic is one of the grippiest disc golf plastic blends on the market. It combines a soft feel with excellent grip for comfort and top notch performance. The grip compares with popular K1 plastic by Kastaplast with durability similar to the original Discraft X plastic. Max Grip plastic discs tend to have more dome than the same mold in different plastic versions.

Huge fan of the narwhal. Great approach disc, the understability keeps it straight on soft shots in the woods and I can get a nice slow right turn with some height and spin. It likes to stick where it lands which is nice on some of the courses around me. I definitely don't agree with the flight numbers. In my experience, it's basically an understable Yikun Yan. Their profiles are nearly identical and the hang time is pretty spot on, with the Yan being a 3,6,0,0.

This was an intersting disc to throw.  It is very flippy, something that would be great for a beginner or tunnel shots.  It is super domey, like super domey, so it was a little hard to putt with.  Overall, I would recommend this as a throwing putter only, for those times you need a disc to turn right.

This is a very situational putter. I think it is more like a -3 turn because it flips over HARD. If you are a beginner and only want to buy 1-2 putters, probably don't get this disc. I rarely use it, but in those rare situations where I need a very under stable putter, this is the best.

Different take on this disc for sure.  Was curious to see if stepping back would help me develop my game a little more and boy howdy, did this one help.   I had been carrying a Kastaplast Berg and a DD Judge until my Narwhal arrived.  Now, the Judge is relegated to the practice stack.

First, as per other reviews, the plastic is fabulous for the price point.  Well made, grippy and flexy.  It's a great feel in my hand.

Next, this disc just does.  No better way for me to explain.  It just does what I need it to do.  It acts like a putter with some hoof on it.  The speed and glide are spot on, though I would bump the turn up just a little as it can get a little curvy further out.

For a grippy plastic it grabs chains and has dramatically improved my focus on shots 50 feet and in.  I notched a couple VERY long throws to save birdie and a 45 foot throw to save par in a round the other day and was impressed the disc just kinda felt like it knew what I needed it to do.

Divergent is the disc for the every man and this disc lives up to it.  Feels great, easy to throw, has a wide range of shots you can do with it.  Between my Berg and my Narwhal, I feel like I have the basket zones covered.

Faster putter, quite understable, a lot of dome. Shaped like a Dart and I expected that sort of flight but it has more turn. Certainly not a burner by any means and was plenty workable. Fairly long for a putter. The faster putter rim speed also covered up for the turn on putting and this was a nice, straight putter in C1 and C2. My flight numbers: 3/3/-2/1

Idk if it was the one I got, but mine had way more glide than suggested. Mine reminded me very much of an innova dart but I liked the plastic a bit more than R Pro.  Nice disc!

This is a great putt/approach anhyzer disc for RHBH. Especially for those that lack forehand skills. Thrown with a little anhyzer this disc stays right. I don't use it as my putter but for approaches, its a great disc. The max grip plastic is really nice feel to it. It's like a harder Innova star plastic.

This might be the first putter I've thrown where I can get a gentle fade all the way to the ground. I threw it nearly full power on a slight hyzer angle, and was really impressed with how far it carried. This disc has a crazy amount of glide. I've thrown ultimate discs for a long time, and it floated in a similar way. I think this would be a fantastic putter for new players, very straight when putting and gives good distance.

Throwing Max Grip plastic at 4,400 ft in Utah. To me, 5 stars = incredible disc 4 stars = good & dependable disc. I don't give out too many 5 star ratings.

The Narwhal is a good driving putter and an alright putting putter. I think this is excellent for a beginner set. As learning to throw putters well makes a massive difference in your game over time. I really liked this as a jump putt disc also. It has some pretty great glide to it, making it easy to get it to got the distance. I don't mind it as a putting putter, just because it isn't the most comfortable for my fan grip.

The feel of the plastic is pretty great! Honestly, probably the best base plastic out there. It has a good grip to it, and it can take a little bit more damage than other base plastic.

This is a pretty enjoyable disc to throw around.

Great putting putter. Dead straight under 25 feet. It has replaced my MVP Atom for short putts. The few times I've thrown it for short approaches, it has a very slight turn. The listed rating of -2 might be a little extreme, but I could also be throwing it incorrectly.

The Divergent plastic is nice; softer than Innova Star, but not quite as flexible as Kastaplast K1. I feel like it "grips" the chains better than my Proton Atom (a harder plastic for sure), though it might just be confirmation bias because I love Narwhals: "My horn can pierce the sky!"

Good putter for shaping shots. I felt that the putter had more low speed fade and glide than the numbers advertised. Thrown with too much power, it turns over easily, but when released straight, it would fly straight.

The plastic can be compared to K1, but not favorably. This feels much closer to Innova Star plastic. Much firmer than Kastaplast K1.

I was chosen to be a tester for this disc during its prototype phase. The prototype flight numbers were a little different than release numbers, (4, 3, -2, 1.) It feels great in hand, very grippy and domey. Released flat on a RHBH throw, it'll fly dead straight with maybe a touch of turn, and very little, if any, fade at the end. Put some power on it, and it will carry right most of the flight. Great throwing putter for any level player.

I gave this a 5/5 mainly because it exceeded what I was expecting. Out of curiosity i picked this up in their new starter pack. This putter has a super dome shape -  Different than anything i had thrown before. The plastic actually feels really good - durable, but very grippy.

Feels good coming out of the hand. The flight numbers feels pretty accurate, and am able to throw this really straight. Probably really really good for beginners.

The pronounced dome makes me want to hold it a little different than my normal grip, but it still feels good. I will probably be giving this disc to a friend that is just starting out.
