If you're a fan of the normal Zone, the Zone GT is going to fly nearly identical to it. It all depends if you like the groove track in it or not. For me I think it feels great! My thumb rests right in it for power-grip backhand shots, and for forehand shots. It handles wind exceptionally well, and I haven't ever had a problem with getting a clean release. It might not be for everyone, but the flight is so nice and predictable, I would recommend giving it a shot if you haven't already!

Glad I gave this a shot. Feels odd at first, but it fits my hand so well for forehand. I haven't had a mis-release once, and the flight is super predictable. Coming from a Jawbreaker zone, this is so much more consistent and easy to throw. I glides less than the jawbreaker, but that makes it great for the wind, which I've been playing in lately. This thing is killer. It sits between the ESP Zone OS and the Jawbreaker Zone. It replaced my Pig, and JB Zone. Definitely torque resistant on forehand, but surprising not a ton of hard fade. I throw a Star Toro too, and this goes a little further, and gets there faster but has a similar flight, and is even easier for forehand.

*NOTE* I only give 5 stars to discs I bag and throw actively. A 4-star disc is great. It may come in and out of the bag for me, but I could see another player actively bagging it.

Summary: Not my cup of tea! The flight is great, but nothing special compared to a normal Zone or any other OS approach disc. The handfeel is where the Zone GT lost me, but I'm sure some players love how this feels.

Flight-wise, there isn't much to talk about. Out of the box, it flies like an ESP Zone. Torque-resistant, decent glide, but not too much, and reliable overstability.

It feels bigger and wider in the hand than a regular Zone, likely due to the groove track on the flight plate and where it forces your hand to go. It feels a bit goofy in the hand, but I'm sure a couple of people enjoy how this feels. I don't mind how it feels in a backhand grip, but it's not the greatest feel in the hand.

For my sidearm grip, this is where the Zone GT loses some points. The groove track forces my thumb into a place it doesn't want to be and you can't put it anywhere else. For my OS approach disc, I throw a lot of sidearms as I'm sure many players do.
