I have the Gibson Z Extreme and it fills a utility slot in my bag. I have an old original Z-Extreme that got retired after years of falling out of the sky levels of overstability and now with a fresh Extreme I have that shot again. I use this disc on downhill and/or into heavy wind and I want to know exactly what the disc will do--crash hard left. I am RHBH around 350' or so on drives and this disc for me probably wouldn't got more than 200' unless I was quite angry or throwing down a large hill into a decent wind. I keep it down in my MidRange discs as that wind-spooked shot and that's it.  Literally all this disc wants to do out of the hand is crash hard left and that's okay by me!

I bought this looking for something to fill the overstable gap between a zone and machete, and in some ways it has accomplished that. It is more overstable than both of those discs however, and I find it far less comfortable in hand. I believe I can push it a bit further on flat shots than the zone, but I have found situations where I opt for the xtreme over a zone or machete to be rare. For now it will be in and out of the bag when I'm looking for specific shots on different courses.
