The Discraft ESP Sled is a precision-driven putt and approach disc with a 3 | 2 | -1 | 2 flight profile and the added grip and durability of ESP plastic. The rolled thumb track promotes a secure, repeatable release, giving players added confidence on touch shots. In the air, the ESP Sled offers mild high-speed turn that settles into a straight carry before finishing with a controlled fade. Its low glide and manageable speed help keep approaches on line, limit unwanted skip, and produce soft, controlled landings on both forehand and backhand throws.

When on a windy course, this is my putter. It honestly ignores the existence of wind, other than tail.

And as an approach disc, it will S curve with the best of them with soft tosses and digs on the ground. Doesn't skip off, slide or roll away.

If you beef on it for 200, it will fly straight then die like me after running a mile.

Best feel in hand of any putt/approach disc I've ever tried.

The turn and fade numbers are close, except a bit more turn, not as significant of a fade, with more glide than the numbers suggest.  And I'm just a medium-ish armspeed.

Sled's concave top compared to:
ZoneGT and BangerGT, which have their groove-track too far from the edge; or to the Ringer-GT or Vessel (RingerGT top and Zone bottom) which have it too close to the edge.  The Sled just has this perfect inward sloping curvature where your thumb rests in the sweet spot, for improved control and spin assistance.

Highly recommend you give the Sled a try.

I'm really glad I gave this disc a shot. Felt it up at a local shop, thought it felt pretty good. I still wasn't sure I would like its flight, but to say I was pleasantly surprised frankly wouldn't go far enough as to how much I liked it! It flies awesome!! I was throwing both forehand and backhand on multiple angles with multiple directions of moderate wind. This disc handled any reasonable situation I tested it with with flying colors. Great backhand hyzer lines, flat throws that were dependably straight to fade or a fairly mild turn then fade, with the fade never being dumpy but still predictable. It won't go super far like an Envy that's been ripped, but it gets respectable distance. I tested it against some other fairly neutral 3 speed throwers I have including a Star Classic Roc, G Star Tomb, Z Ringer (regular top), and Proton Atom. The only disc it didn't consistently beat in distance was the Atom; they were fairly comparable. This disc also doesn't need as much height as some putters to operate well. I was able to keep it on fairly low lines either flat or with slight hyzer and count on it to net good distance and land within acceptable range of the target I was aiming at. For forehands this disc won't handle a lot of torque, but as long as you keep your form smooth you can count on decent flip up turn and fade shots from hyzer, and turning shots that hold the turn a bit longer from flat. I felt that the disc was overall wonderfully predictable and forgiving, both requisite qualities for a workhorse approach disc.  This one's going in the bag, at the very least for an extended test run. I feel like Discraft made a gem here.
