Congradulations Discraft you made a Destroyer! Ares is the son of Zeus in Greek mythology by the way. Here's the thing, these first run ESP ones are not as flippy as the numbers would suggest. If the Force is a 12/5/0/3 and the Zeus is a 12/5/-1/3, then the Ares fits in between in stability, thus my numbers 12/5/-0.5/3. However, I would say that the Zeus is not a 12/5/-1/3 and is closer to a 12/5/-1/2. The Ares is a good wind fighter and has a lot of glide making it an overall good, controlable distance driver for a lot of intermediate to pro armspeeds. Also, due to the flight, I would imagine, that there are more and less stable versions of this disc in future runs making it a good candidate for those who like to bag duplicates in varying stabilities and plastic types.

My Flight Ratings: 12/6/-0.5/2.5 Not Beginner Friendly Throwing Distance: 400 Straight Score: Slightly Overstable

If you enjoy throwing the Zeus or the Destroyer, you are going to like the Ares. It flies similarly, but with a touch more glide. It seems to have a little more fade than 2, probably closer to a 2.5 unless you have a monster arm. It can handle whatever line you want to put it on, and will stay on a turn over line for longer than a Zeus for great distance.

For hand feel, the Ares has a bit more dome to it than the Zeus, so not quite as comfortable for a forehand, but still comes out of the hand for a clean release. Definitely not ground breaking, but is a very solid distance driver to pair with Destroyer-like discs when you want a bit more distance.
