X-Soft APX is the most flexible and grippy version of the mold, designed for players who prioritize touch and chain-grabbing control. Known for its dead-straight spin putts and soft landings, it’s a favorite for those who want a tacky, forgiving putter that minimizes ground play.

Best putter of all time. Cant believe Discraft stopped making them. Ive felt every other putter they make, and the Luna and Fierce are the only one's that even come close, and they dont have a micro bead. Come on Discraft, why dis your best mold?!

Incredibly disappointing that this disc is OOP.  After a long search, this is the best putter for my hand and my putting style.  For putts, it has a bit more "turn" than a normal putter which makes it more controllable than others for me.  For upshots, one they beat in it's a great dead-flat upshot disc from 100ft or closer.  For full throws it has a long, slow turn with little to no fade so long as there's a bit of power behind it (the 2021 Ledgestone re-run is the best at this).  If you can find one it's excellent.

The Apex Predator. Super straight putter that's been my go-to in the circle for years.

Beat in, I can put it on a steep hyzer, flip it straight for about 200', and have it drifts left at the end--throwing LHBH. Truly a thing of beauty.

The APX is a nice understable putter from Discraft. This putter felt very nice int he hand, it wasn't too shallow, or too tall, and the plastic felt great. I really liked the straight nature of the disc in the circle for putting, but when I started to throw it, I wasn't as impressed. It flew a lot like a Magic. I had a hard time not turning it over on upshots and off the tee. I could see this a great beginner disc. Not the disc for me, but I'm sure it is great for others.

I have 3 of these putters. The rim has a great grip, soft, doesnt bounce around or roll much on appraoch shots. This is my go to putter, a must have!

This disc is awesome. DGA's SP APX (Reef) is the straightest disc I've ever thrown. In Soft X it has a very slight turn to it, but it will hold a hyzer even at high speeds. Fade is undetectable. The best thing about this disc is the grip, though. Soft X feels better than any other plastic I've tried.

A good beginner putter. The disc is under stable, but will dependably fade. The plastic is quite tacky and soft. Not to soft making the disc floppy, but nice and pliable. Plastic wears in fairly quickly, which is typically preferred in putters. Flight is quite straight, rim isn't deep nor shallow. If I were to putt with a Discraft disc, it would be the APX. It is similar to a SSS Magic. As far as putting putters (as opposed to driving putters),go with how the plastic and mold in your hand over the flight. A putt is typically with 30 feet.
