Really loving this disc. It has that sweet spot between being very easy to turn or roll, and still being stable enough to hyzer flip and fly pretty straight. It can fly really far too as a 7 speed. I've thrown it close to 400 feet on a hyzer flip. The swirly pro line plastic is great too. Plenty of grip and not too firm. I've tried a lot of under stable fairway drivers and this one is hard to beat

I was searching for something that had actual flip out of the gate and this disc didn't disappoint. Very easy to get up to speed and get trustworthy flip into your angle, then it holds for a long while. Great disc for touch shots in the woods, Wont hold up against wind though.

The DGA Vortex is exactly what I have been waiting for in the DGA lineup. This will be going head to head with the Discraft Sting to see which stays in the bag. I have gotten to throw three different molds from the Vortex and will compare them:

Proto Vortex- the proto is that perfect Hyzer-flip to flat that keeps pushing forward with that penetrating forward flight that finishes straight.

Pro Line FF- the pro line first flights are the flippiest of the three...at least from my testing. It Hyzer-flips to flat that turns slowly right throughout the flight.

SP line- the SP line Vortex is the most OS of the three. It will still Hyzer-flip to flat but tends to finish more OS towards the end of the flight.

Overall I feel that I will love this disc more and more as they break in. This might even compliment my Stings because I can put more power into these with out having them get to US like my Stings sometimes do.

Played a couple rounds with this disc and am loving the flight...for my arm speed the Vortex hyzer flips like a dream, up to flat and then just holds straight or drifts right with a straight finish, depending on degree of hyzer. It does take a good degree of hyzer to get a straight flight, probably 20-25 degree depending on wind. My backhand distance is 330-360 for reference. My home course is pretty wide open, but feel like this would be go to disc in the woods (wish I lived close to a wooded course). Not going to be great into the wind, but tailwind drives will bomb. I feel like this would be a great straight disc for beginners and lower arm speed.

I love this disc. I throw almost exclusively backhand, and this thing fills a big gap for anhyzer fairway shots. Feels like the offspring of a Tremor and a Pipeline, with a beautiful flight pattern. If you throw this disk with any anhyzer it's going to roll, but it never feels uncontrollable (i.e. flippy).
