I bag this disc for a very specific shot on my home course. It's an uphill hyzer flip to turnover shot. I don't have great arm speed, struggle to keep the noise down, and I live at 2500' elevation so I needed something very flippy. This disc fits the bill. I found it by searching for discs with similar rim specs as my beloved Teebird3 and bought one on a whim. I do not regret it. While it is very flippy, it is easy to control. I put it up against the Innova IT for this shot and for some reason I can never get the IT to deliver the flight I want. The IT either doesn't turn, or totally flips over on me. The Vortex does what I want far more often. That's probably more to do with my poor mechanics and control, but the bottom line is that I reliably hit my line with the Vortex. The disc in Atmos plastic feels fantastic, and while it isn't a workhorse it definitely fills a slot most golfers need and I don't anticipate it leaving the bag.
