I have tihs disc in Proline plastic and it is not what I expected based on the numbers. I bought this as a forehand disc because it has similar numbers to the Disctroyer Stork (8,5,0,1) which flies exactly like the numbers suggest. This disc is so flippy that it is completely unreliable. For the record I am throwing it at 8 speed power, not overpowering it. It is at least a -3 turn and maybe a 1 fade. I am confused to the reviewers comparing the Pipeline to a Teebird, maybe because ot the flight numbers, but they are drastically different discs. For me the Teebird is much better in every way.

The good: it feels good in the hand. It has lots of glide. It will turn alot (if that is what you are looking for). Very little fade (again, if thats what you are looking for) and the Proline plastic is nice. If given some height it will eventually come out of its turn although slightly.

The bad: It is very difficult to control forehand. With so much turn (even at low power) it will run away on you . Very little fade for an 0,2 disc.

This isnt a bad disc per se but the numbers are way off, at least on the disc that I got. If you need a glidy, turney unpredictable disc you will enjoy this one. For me it flies the same backhand and forehand. For an understable fairway driver it might be appealing but I use the Blackout, Leopard3 or JLS for those slots and for my money they perform better.

I would rate this as 8,5,-3,1

The Proline Pipeline is not as stable as the numbers say, in fact mine is understable. However, that doesn't mean its not a good disc. In fact its very good. It works great for flat throws that make glidey long drives that slowly turn for most of the flight before a baby fade finishes the flight. Its also fantastic for hyzer flipping. It will stand up from the hyzer and glide down the fairway almost completely straight. Its not a good head wind disc, but in calm or tailwind conditions it can be a workhorse.

I bought this disc thinking it would fill a Teebird3 slot. Boy was I wrong! Right out of the box, it feels like it has at least a -1 turn. After I hit a few trees, definitely feels like a -2 turn, especially at full power. Throw it at about 50-70% power, then it'll probably fly closer to the numbers. This is a prime example of incorrect flight numbers. I wouldn't even say it has a 2 fade, probably more like 1. HOWEVER, it filled a slot in my bag that I didn't know I was missing. Having a flippy 8-speed with a decently reliable finish is a versatile disc I didn't know I needed.

The Pipeline is a good disc if you know what you're getting into and you know what you're looking for. If you're looking for a straight-to-stable fairway driver, the Pipeline is not for you. If you're looking for an understable fairway slot that will flip and turn on a good amount of power, then you've found your disc. For me, 20 to 25 degrees of hyzer at 80% power will get this to flip and turn for all of about 350. Be careful of wind, this disc does not like to hold up to a stiff breeze. For beginners, this will likely be one of the discs you see hyzer flipping first in your bag, and for that reason, this disc is great for someone with a few months under their belt looking to speed up their bag.

This is the first DGA mold I've tried. I mainly got it to dye. The ProLine plastic is very pretty in the white color. It took the color i put on it very well, and the little pearlescent swirls are really stunning.
In terms of the flight, I think it's quite understable for what should be an overstable disc. I might just have an understable one, but I get quite a bit of turn with a nice pan out of it. Based off of how mine flies, I'd say it would be a great disc to give a beginner who's looking for an overstable disc that has a good amount of glide. It's a good disc but I was really surprised to see it turn so much.

Love this disc. Very consistent with about the best looking flight path you'll ever see. Unless you're trying to throw 500", this is about all the disc you really need. DGA really deserves more attention than they seem to get.

I got the Pipeline as a birthday present, and it had a tournament stamp on it without any indication of what the disc was, so I had no idea what it was going to do when I threw it for the first time; however, when I threw it, I was shocked. It flew dead straight and carried crazily far. After measuring every last feature of the disc, I concluded that it was a Pipeline. It's been a staple in my bag ever since, and it is absolutely perfect for long, straight shots. It doesn't flex much in the mid-flight, so it holds an anhyzer line well, and it always finishes left for me. Its neutral flight path makes it very versatile for me. I'm able to shape shots with this disc in almost any way. The plastic is also surprisingly durable. This was my first DGA disc, and the Pro Line plastic has held up remarkably well despite impacts with trees and concrete paths.

Overall, the Pipeline is an incredibly solid disc. It flies like a laser until it fades at the end of every flight. It does exceedingly well for me with long, low, straight shots through wooded areas.

I cannot say enough about this disc. It is the straightest fairway driver I have ever thrown, it can hold almost any line and just just seems to auto correct for me. I use a proline pipeline for most shots around 290'-320' in the woods. This disc excels at low tunnel shots and is great on a slight hyzer if you want something that will flip up to flat and then ride to the basket. I feel this disc finishes pretty straight if you keep it low, but it will get some decent fade if you air it out. 10/10 would recommend.

PS - Definitely has more turn than advertised by the 0 Turn Rating.

My current favorite fairway. This has to be the fastest straight-flying disc in my bag. It has been taking lots of shots away from both my teebird and my thunderbird. I have thrown a few and they all fly the same: a little bit of turn, followed by a very gentle fade. Throwing it alongside a new bendy volt today (which has the same numbers) the volt was way more overstable and in general felt and flew more like a teebird, where the Pipeline feels more like the thunderbird in hand and seems to have less drag in the air. It waa getting the same distance as my gstar thunderbird, but landing about 30 feet to the right, rhbh. For rating, it give it about 8, 5, -1, 1.5.

I have thrown a few and they all seem to fly the same: a little bit of turn, followed by a very gentle fade. Powers up or down gracefully, and handles light wind well, but I might not throw it full power into a strong headwind. Throwing it alongside a new bendy volt today (which has the same numbers) the volt was way more overstable and in general felt and flew more like a teebird, where the Pipeline feels more like the thunderbird in hand and seems to have less drag in the air, which gets it downrange a little quicker. For me, it was flying identical distance to my gstar thunderbird, but was just landing about 30-35 feet to the right (rhbh). For ratings i'd probably give it a 8.5, 5, -0.5, 1.5 or 8.5, 5, -1, 1.5.

I tried this disc out on a recommendation and I was not disappointed. This is my go to disc off the tee on so many shots. It has a straight flight with a slight turn and ends with a mild fade. I have thrown some of my longest shots (310 -340 ft) with this disc. I'm not a big arm thrower but this disc helps me get there with accuracy. I recently bought a second one so i would have a backup. I never want to be without this disc in my bag.

I love this disc! It bombs! It has a noticeable turn but fades back nicely. The Pipeline can even hold up to a bit of a headwind. I bag both a Proline and SP, I haven't noticed any difference between the two plastics.

I've heard this disc called a "Better Teebird" but I think it's more in the class of the Discmania CD2 or the DD Escape. I have both of those in various plastics and I definitely prefer the Pipeline.

I would not recommend this disc for beginners as it doesn't handle OAT well.

Perhaps a little more understable than the flight numbers give it credit for, but once you learn to throw this disc, it will be your go to tunnel shot disc. it is extremely predicable with not too much deviation from a straight path until the fade.

This disc is fantastic for straight shots. I love it for hyzer flip tunnel shots or if you dial down the power and give it some air you can have nice flex lines for easy 300+ distance. I just lost mine and have two more on the way. This disc will be in my bag for a long time.

I won this disc when I won my card at the Memorial. It's an amazing disc that is easy to throw and flies a long way. I can put it on any line and it will hold. The Pipeline even goes as far as a lot of my distance drivers. Great for straight line shots.

Do yourself a favor and purchase a Pipeline. I cannot believe how far this disc flies. I had my doubts about its ability, but it has absolutely become my favorite disc. With 60% power, I guarantee this disc will travel 375-380ft. Give it about 85% power, with hyzer and a tail wind, I'll guarantee 400+ft.

I found some SP (Sparkle) Pipelines and am looking for them to be a touch more over-stable. DGA is killing it with this release.

One of my favorite discs in the bag. Throw it straight and it goes straight. It's that simple. I can punch this thing out on a calm day and know it's going where I sent it. Tunnel shots are a piece of cake with this disc. I give it a 9 on speed and a 1.5 on fade. Just an all around good disc to have with you.

The workhorse fairway/control driver I've been looking for.

I've tried the Teebird, Thunderbird, TL, Rival, Stratus, Undertaker and Mantis.  This is the disc that finally clicked with me.  I would say it falls right in between the Undertaker and Mantis for stability and feels very similar to an Undertaker, but easier to get up to speed.

The pipeline is a very responsive disc.

From throwing it today in the field, it immediately became apparent to me that this disc is extremely sensitive to nose and wing angle. It is going to fly the way it you release it. The numbers aren't really strong enough either way to cover up a flaw in release.

That said, it is a great disc for people who know what they are doing with it. With how well it responds to the angle of the nose and wing, you can ask it to do almost anything. It will truly dance to your tune. I could see this being a great jack of all trades sort of disc.

It flies like a longer Zombeee, which is pretty cool if you are in to that.

The DGA Pipeline! If I had to describe this disc in one word: Controllable.

My Impression: I really liked the Pipeline. I have never found myself really in love with a DGA disc, and this is the first one that I truly enjoy throwing. If I found myself throwing Discraft and affiliated brands, I would definitely put a Pipeline in my bag.

Testing Conditions: I threw the Pipeline in Eugene, OR which is about 500 elevation. The humidity was low, and most of my throws were in a light to moderate left to right tailwind. Flat ground, Grass field.

How the Disc Feels: The Pipeline has a really good feeling in the hand. The rim isn't really wide, but is nice and comfortable for me because my small hands love fairway drivers. What sets this disc apart for me is the top. It's not excessively domey, but I would not call it a flat disc either. I think this makes the Pipeline good for dome and flat disc lovers alike. The Pro Line plastic has some grip to it, but still is fairly slick and durable. It almost feels like it is in between Discraft's Z and ESP plastics.

Flight Characteristics: The Pipeline is going to hold whatever line that you put it on when throwing with a decent amount of power. It definitely has some turn, so I give it a -1 rating for turn rather than 0. I agree that there is a rating of 2 for fade. When throwing this disc, the distance was similar to a Teebird to me so I give it a 7 speed instead of 8. It just doesn't seem faster than a Teebird, and I think it is the proficient glide of the Pipeline that makes it seem like an 8 speed. Final flight ratings I give it are 7, 5, -1, 2

Disc Comparison: As a huge fan of the Teebird, obviously my first comparison is that. The Teebird is more stable, the Pipeline is similar to a TL for me. It isn't quite as slow and understable as a Leopard, but to me it is extremely similar to a Leopard3. I would also compare the Pipeline to the Z Undertaker with added stability

Conclusion: The Pipeline is great for anyone looking to learn the most essential part of the game: Disc manipulation. The Pipeline can throw anhyzers and hyzers alike with some good angle control. It would be a great disc for golfers that aren't looking for a giant backpack full of 50 discs and just want a few discs that can throw a wide variety of shots. However, this shouldn't be exclusively for that because professionals like also throw the Pipeline. I met a DGA golfer at the 2016 Ledgestone and he told me this: "Every time someone wants to know what disc I threw, it was a Pipeline. I basically don't throw anything else anymore."

The pipeline is wonderful, my very first throw with the disc was beautifully perfect! The feel of the pipeline is quite comfortable.  I am throwing a 173-174g Pipeline. I figured that the heavier disc will give me a more stable experience. In general it is a pretty solid disc, capable of many things. My first impression was that it was more understable than stable. However upon further experimentation and thought I find that it is pretty true to what DGA suggests.

The Pipeline flies pretty straight with a RHBH throw. I found this to be true except for when I would release it on an anhyzer. This is to be expected, obviously. I found that more often than not it will come out of the anhyzer though. Suggesting that the disc is pretty stable.

Throwing for distance I can get it to go about 300 feet consistently and easily. The flight path that awards me with this distance varies from straight, to even an "s" shape. Both of them give me about the same distance.

The above information is true for a RHBH throw. For flicking it I find that it is understable and unable to handle the power of the flick. Often times I would flick the Pipeline and find that it would frequently be turned over, and never would come out of it. As such this disc is not meant to be flicked in my opinion.

Overall the disc is an excellent disc, after all the very first throw with it was an Ace! Unfortunately it didn't stay true to that standard. However, it is a pretty easy disc to throw, for someone who doesn't have that strong of an arm it is a good disc to try out for a solid stable disc. It'll be easy enough to throw to get straight lines and distance. I like the Pipeline.

The DGA Pipeline is a solid stable control driver. The Pipeline I tested was yellow green and weighed 167g. With a smooth throw it goes straight, glides well, and finishes with a stable hyzer fade. For backhand throws, this disc behaved more stable (as in it didn't turn on me unless I released it at an anhyzer angle).  When I threw it forehand it was definitely more understable than the flight ratings indicate and flipped up pretty easily on my hyzer release. As long as I didn't try to overpower it, it is a good disc for controlled straight forehand throws.

The Pro Line plastic looks and feels good. It's probably not the most durable plastic blend on the market as I did lose a little chunk on the rim, but it's definitely a good quality plastic.

Overall the Pipeline is a good disc for consistent shots. It's not going to get as much distance as a faster driver, but it's not going to require the entire sky to get its distance. It's not going to dump and fade way to far and too fast, but for a person with my arm speed it's not going to uncontrollably turn over either. Does this disc do anything that fairway drivers of other brands don't do? No. But if I had to throw DGA only I would definitely throw this disc a lot.

It's just like DGA said-- it will hold any line.  This is a great control disc. I love throwing this disc and it went straight into my bag. It feels great in the hand i would say the feel would be close to a Teebird 3. The flight and glide is amazing. I don't have to bomb it for it to go far.  For me when I crank on it I do have to hold it hyzer and it will pop up and S just perfect. A perfect disc for wooded courses. I really like this dics and look forward to what DGA comes out with next.

I really enjoyed throwing the Pipeline. It is a very consistent flyer for drives and upshots in the 175-250 ft range. Whenever I kept my throw under control without trying to rip the disc, it really flew beautifully with a straight line until the last few feet with a gentle fade. When thrown with more power, it pulls to the understable side, but never flipped completely over on me. Instead, it flew a really nice S-curve, eventually fading back like higher-speed discs with a -2, 2 stability rating. All in all, I look forward to using the Pipeline frequently for controlled drives where I don't necessarily need a huge bomber, but want the disc to land in just the right spot. The Pipeline has the potential to be a real workhorse for precision, finesse players, which is more my style, so I'm very pleased.
