The Blowfly II is the second super soft flexible putter by DGA, and is available in lighter weights. This disc is so flexible that you can easily fold it in half like a pancake. This gives the Blowfly II unmatched chain gripping capabilities. The softness of the Blowfly putters make them great for playing catch with, or throwing in areas where you don’t want to damage property – this disc has the same type of texture that you’d find in a rubber band. Another plus of the Blowfly II is that this disc floats on water! The Blowfly II has a sharper edge and is a little more understable than the Blowfly. If you prefer a straighter flying putter, the Blowfly II is the super soft putter of choice. This disc also feels a little more like a traditional disc golf disc than the Blowfly I with a rim shape not unlike an Aviar or a Luna.

If you are buying this because it floats. Don't... Mine does not. You will lose it. I'm glad that I tested it first.

Beyond that, it's a decent putter. It doesn't bounce like your standard plastic discs. It rolls more than my Koi. But far less than my Golem. If you're looking for a rubber putter that's understable. This thing could be it.

I'm disappointed that it sinks in water, so this thing may not make my main bag... Ever. But it will make my smaller local course bag. The terrain is terrible so a disc like this is perfect.

Still have (and still throw sometimes the model I bought in '96. They only have a single fly and no Roman numeral. Just a guess that my DISC is older than some of you. And is actually my 2nd Blowfly 2. Nuff said(?)...

This is my favorite floppy putter, out of all of the DGA floppy putters. The reasons for this is that it has a good size rim, where the other putters have such a shallow rim that they easily slip out of your hand when throwing them. It is very similar to an innova dart, but this putter is so floppy that you can fold it into a ball, and throw it, as a unique utility shot. The only knock on it IMO is that it does not come in weights above 165, or it is at least very difficult to find it anywhere above that weight, so this putter is touchy in the wind, but it is definitely a useful approach and utility disc

I absolutely love this putter. It will do exactly what your throw tells it to do. With a little finesse it will fade left, with some snap it will fly very straight, and if you jump putt it will fade in hard left. The thing I love most about this putter is its grippiness on the chains. I rarely have this disc skip out of the basket, in fact, I've had this disc hit the edge of the basket and flop over into the basket. I've also been privileged to have this land straight up on the top of a basket and fold enough to fall through for the putt. I would caution anyone that, like any other disc, if you take it out and expect great things without a little work, you will be disappointed. I've managed some 120 to 150 ft putts with this disc. Also, it your looking for a driving putter, try a Wizard or a Magic. They work well for that where these don't

I use this disc as a warmup catch disc and that's about it. I won't throw it in a round because I have no confidence throwing this past 200ft, its just too floppy. feels great in the hand, the rubber has great grip. Great catch disc, not a great golf disc. It is easy to shape shots with this disc FH or BH but I have other discs that I do trust that do the same thing. 169g signature model

Everybody else says it, and I'm going to reiterate it - great for hillside baskets. That's just about it.

You can power throw it, but unless you get enough spin on it, the disc is going to fly out of your hand as a wadded up piece of plastic. EXCESSIVELY flexible, EXCESSIVELY grippy, especially in the heat.  Excessively not awesome for me.

If you do love it, you will probably also love the Vibram Soft which comes out each Fall as winter approaches.
