The Blast is a great beefy little approach disc. Good overstability, probably a bit more beefy than your usual Zone but less than say an A2. It does the same things as those discs just with a bit of a different feel. The slightly raised up rim is different than any other raised rim disc I've tried to this point. It doesnt give off the large hump feeling of a disc like the Berg or Range, its more subtle than that. Nor does it give the distict plateaued feel of a Pig or Slammer, its more slim and curved than that. The raised portion is very slender, only about half an inch from the edge of the disc, and its curved the whole way giving the change in "elevation" an overall very gradual feel. The feeling it imparts to me is very tight and fitting, giving me great confidence in the hand for any grip. I'm sure that the raised rim spoils lift to a certain extent, which is likely why the disc seems a bit more OS than a Zone. But it doesn't spoil it anywhere near as much as a disc like the Stego. All in all its a great OS approach disc as long you like the feel of it. For me it feels great.

TLDR; Flies fanstic, feels better than the Toro and flight numbers are weird.

Feels a lot like the Zone GT (ringer top) but with more smoothed out corners and edges. The feel reminds me a lot of the Toro but without that nasty plus rim. The Blast feels fantastic and I'm a fan. My perosnal number are 4/2/0/3 and it flys like a Zone, but with less glide. Maybe it's more OS than most Zones, but I think that is just the less glide taking into affect.

This is an interesting thought experiement in flight numbers. The Breaker, is a similar mold and covers a similar slot, but the numbers are 3/3/0/3. So if you're comparing it direcly to the Breaker, then the Blast is faster, more stable and less glidey. Hence the stock numbers of 4/2/0/4. However, if the Blast was released in the Discraft lineup, I think the numbers would be closer to my perosnal numbers.
