My disc is 170g in Platinum Plus. I haven't had it too long so can't say for certain about its durability, but it feels similar to other high-quality plastics I have, and after a couple days of field work with it, it shows no signs of wear or getting beat in (I've seen some discs in base plastics lose some stability literally after just a couple of throws -- and not even hitting anything hard). It does seem to be more overstable than expected from the flight numbers (or maybe my arm hasn't gotten back to normal after winter yet). It didn't seem to have any turn at first, but then throwing into the wind made its turn factor more discernible. Frankly, it performed nearly identical to my Destroyer in back-to-back throws, just showing a bit more stability. One portion of the disc has a bit of flashing along the edge, and a color other than green might prove desirable if this ever ends up in the rough, but otherwise the disc looks and feels good and flies well.

This review is for a Blue 175g Platinum Plus Crosslap Openwater.  This is important because there is a 1 star review that does not specify the plastic type and weight of the of disc.  My experience of over a year throwing this disc on the coast of the Pacific Northwest is quite different.  This is my second 175g blue one and both have been almost identical in performance.  That's important.  This is a really nice plastic. It is flexible and grippy Kinda like a cross between Star plastic with Gstar flexibility but Star toughness.  It's also well finished with no flashing or rough edges!  That's more than I can say for a certain new brand name driver that's been ripping up my forefinger!
This disc takes all of my power and will not turn over even when thrown on a hard flex line both backhand or forehand.  I've got it out to about 325' with my max throw on a lighter Gstar Destroyer being about 350 RHBH.   New, I'd rate this disc as a 10spd with less turn than advertised and a healthy AND very consistent fade.  This disc has been very consistent for me and will probably take the spot of my Gstar Wraith which is just too inconsistent.

I'd say the #'s are probably closer to 10-4-0-2 in my opinion or perhaps 11sp.  I get a bit more turn on my forehand.  I was thrilled when I saw it in the Infinite "Door crasher bin" on Black Friday for $4 as I'd been wanting to replace it ever since I chucked it into a rainforest never to be found.
I'd love to hear any other reveiws as I think this is a worthwhile disc for those who are not brand snobs.
