This is a hyzer-flip dream! I love this thing as an understable fairway and highly recommend it as a first driver for newer players. People with experience will be able to flip this up quite easily and still get some turn out of it. I live at elevation, which typically makes discs more stable, but even still, I throw this on nearly spike hyzer angles and flip them up for a straight tunnel shot that still has a turning finish. Does not fade with power. Which is why this is amazing for beginners! It has a better hand feel than a Leapord and flies just as well if not better for newer players. Get one!

The soda is an extremely comfortable disc in the hand and has a very dependable understable flight. The disc has a good amount of glide while being pretty flat. That makes it very comfortable to forehand as well. It can be useful either as a hyzer flip forehand disc or as a utility forehand disc for shots you need to stay in the air without having room for a full swing. This is also my go to disc for patent pending backhands where I need to get as much distance on them as I can.

This disc replaced a slot where I had previously tried the opto maul and the fusion maverick. Both of those discs started out well and quickly beat in to discs that turned and burned. The soda will typically fight back at least to a more panning flight with 350' of power if given some height. It has been the best disc I have found in this slot and really helps for wooded holes where you need a pushing turnover or need a disc to stand up to straight from a decent bit of hyzer.

This disc is very glidey. A beginner will be able to get a ton of distance with it. It will hold whatever line you throw it on or flip to flat if you put any umf on it. Played one round and now it's in the bag.

I have been throwing Clash's Popcorn as one of my primary upshot and laser straight shot discs, and I was really excited to see their take on the understable Leopard- esqe style disc. I have to say they've really outdone themselves here. The Soda imo flies like a Leopard should out of the box and the thinner rim profile feels better than Leos. Easy to throw on a flat to flex line, a hyzer flip to straight line, and it holds anhyser really well without turning and burning. It's a disc I can give 50-70% controlled power and get the flight that I want which is HUGE for staying on the fairway. The Steady plastic feels incredible, especially if you are a fan of K1 plastic from Kastaplast. One thing I really liked about the rim too is that it is slightly rounded on the bottom edge of the rim, which makes it leave the hand incredibly clean and makes it comfortable to hold both backhand and forehand.
