The Zingback is a putt & approach disc that is similar to the Innova Sonic. It originates from the Wham-O Fastback, a disc that was used in early disc sports like Maximum Time Aloft (MTA), Throw Run and Catch (TRC), and as a canine disc. This is an easy to throw putt and approach or catch disc.

This disc has a textured thumb track with a raised center, and a textured finger track on the underside. This provides an easy and dependable grip.

You might as well pick up this disc. Why? Cause it wont take up any space in your bag -- the Zingback has a nasty habit of consuming any disc that happens to be behind it in your bag, requiring some serious prying to get the disc out of its grasp. It's pretty amusing the first few times, but this reliably happens enough where I have to make sure the back of the disc is not resting on any other discs.

Anyways, this is much like an Innova Sonic or smaller ultimate disc...Thus I find the flight numbers to be way off. It's super understable, anything harder than a limp-wristed flick will have it turn and burn into the ground. You can get this out to 250ft laser flat by chucking it on a steep hyzer.

At putting speeds it will hold whatever line or angle you hold it on, makes for some nice anny spikes or super flat C2 putts. Again, I don't agree with the flight numbers as this seems to have significantly more glide than my other putters with similar specs, and I have bounced this disc off the top of the basket quite a few times as it will just float for days.

I find this to be a nice utility disc when I'm close to the basket and it is sometimes my primary disc for putts of a fairly specific distance. Even with an ultimate background I sometimes find the shape of the disc getting in the way of my release, which is why I don't use it more often.

The premium plastic is definitely a step above something like Innova DX plastic, this disc has been pretty resilient though it's not grippy, gummy, or soft like many premium plastics. It makes a really nice sound when it hits the chains, interestingly enough, which makes me compelled to use it more often than perhaps I should.

Seems to fly an awful lot like the allusive Innova Sonic!  Surprisingly stable and a ton of fun to throw around.  This is a very reliable point and shoot disc that ends up where you throw it.
