The Trance by Axiom Discs is an understable 8-speed fairway driver. It flies much like the Crave, but with more distance and a little less stability. The Trance comes with a Prism rim made from Proton plastic, just like the Pyro.

The new stock prism neutron Trance is a great straight-stable disc! I was throwing my fission rhythm with the Trance and getting a little extra distance with the Trance. It's not beating my Insanities, but I do have better control with the Trance. I don't have a great forehand, but the Trance has been very comfortable and consistent in my releases, preventing wobble. It may replace my beat in fission Volt for the forehand slot. This disc is going to be very popular after people start throwing it. It looks amazing, too! I hope that draws people in because the flight is pretty special! If you pick up one of the "DJ Ant" OTB ones, it will fly more OS. Definitely still workable. When I power up on th OTB one, I get a very straight flight with subtle fade. I've heard players say it was too overstable, but I think it was all a psychological thing because they were expecting a -2 turn when the OTB one is really a 0 to -1 turn & 1.5 fade. Either way, you could get a stock offering and the DJ Ant OTB run and you would have that 8-9 speed slot set for the stable to US & OS. Pick one up in the 170-173g range and I think it will find a place in your bag. One of the best things about Prism is that the disc doesn't really beat in and change stability. That's an amazing thing to have! Instead of buying some Innova F2 or another manufacturers solo-mold disc every year or 2, you can reliably use the Prism disc for years and it won't change in flight. You can't find that in disc golf! Don't sleep on the Trance! It's going to be a highly sought after mold in 2026(I'm calling it!). Namaste!!!

Flies much more over stable than I expected. Closer to my Teebird3s! Feels great in the hand. Just nowhere near as understable as its numbers.

The trance has a unique shape. The bottom reminds me of fairway driver version of the pyro. It's torque resistant on both backhand and even my wobbly forehand. If I give it some anhyzer it holds it for about 80% of the flight. Definitely not a - 2/1, it's more stable than that. Thrown hard and flat it's a laser with a decent finish. At least for me it flies mostly like my 155g fission tesla. But the tesla has more glide. Played a tournament yesterday with a hole that for me was the definition of a flat to slight fade shot with that tesla. Nailed it first two rounds. In the third round some headwind came up, picked the trance for the exact same shot and it was basically a copy, just 15ft shorter

A perfect straight flier of a disc. While it isn't as understable as the numbers would suggest, it's still an extremely nice flier and goes amazing straight with a tiny turn. And it's surprisingly torque resistant, which I believe might be due to the disc somewhat unorthodox shape. While this disc feels quite unique, it feels extremely comfortable in the hand. But it's something to be aware of. For me, this disc is a replacement to the crave; flying quite similarly, but with a pinch more end stability and torque resistance.

Flies much more stable than the numbers for me, for sure. Nothing at all like the 7/5/-2/1 neutron rhythm I've been bagging for a couple years now. Very small amount of turn, to a healthy fade. The wing shape is a little different but not necessarily bad-feeling. It can handle full power forehand torque if you get a clean, flat release. Doesn't fit the numbers at all but it is a nice, stable fairway driver so it's still getting a decent rating from me. The flight is honestly not that much different than the prism plasma volt I have.
