The Paradox is an understable disc that wants to turn. This is among some of the most understable midranges on the market and a disc that can fly on some very unique lines. For the advanced player, the Paradox will make a great disc for utility shots like rollers, flip-ups, or massive anhyzers. For the beginner, this makes for a great first disc that flies straight, hyzer-flips, or acts as a teaching disc.

The paradox feels great in hand and I love the eclipse plastic. I have had mixed feelings about the disc, it's too understable to be anything but a utility disc for me and it comes in and out of my bag frequently. When carrying it, I find uses for it and am glad to have it - it makes some really fun lines when you get creative. When I'm not bagging it I don't really miss having it.

A couple of my friends are MVP only players, so when these Eclipse Paradoxes dropped, of course they bought some. My initial thought when I grabbed the disc was that it felt uncomfortable in my hand. The should is SUPER rounded, and much lower than any midrange I've ever held. That's the only fault I found with this disc after throwing it several times. I threw it on a pretty steep hyzer, and it stood up to flat pretty quick and sloooooowly turned for the rest of the flight. I parked the basket the first 3 throws on a hole I've never been able to get a birdie on. Positions on the course that don't allow for a full swing or stable footing will be where this disc shines. It'll be able to stay flat or even turn with very little power, which the vast majority of disc won't do. There is an much necessity for a disc like this in your bag as a super overstable disc like a Justice (or a Deflector for you MVP purest). A utility disc that you won't need often, but that will get you out of trouble when you do.
