This putter has the reputation of being the disc James Conrad threw in on hole 18 at the 2021 World Championships for the "holy shot." It's widely known as one of the best throwing putters ever made, and works well for putting as well. Brand new, this disc sports some fade at the end of its flight, but will beat in very nicely to fly dead straight. This disc will hold any line and take as much power as you can give it, all while being a masterful approach disc for touch shots. The profile is a little thinner, and as a 3 speed putter, will fly faster and a little further than many other putters.

With his new sponsorship, Eagle McMahon will now utilize the Envy as one of his team series discs.

Envies are very popular for a great reason. They glide so far for being as stable as they are! Fresh out of the box, they really show that 2 fade, but broken in, they can go really straight before fading. I loved bagging an Envy and a Proxy to cover my throwing putter shots, and if you have decent touch, the Envy can be used on forehand as well.

For reference, I putt with the Prism Proton Soft Envy and throw the Fission/Prism Proton/Prism Plasma/Eclipse.

This is the Goldilocks putter for me. Not too deep, not too shallow. Not too fast, but certainly not slow. Not overstable, but plenty stable to drive comfortably. Not too glidey, but doesn't fall out of the sky. Feels comfortable in the hands for power grip and fan/putting grip. Always goes far when I want it to, and very controllable short. If an Envy can get me to the basket, I throw it.

Every plastic gives a different flight as well, Fission is the straightest out of the box, and beats in to essentially the perfect Proxy. Neutron soft starts out very similar to other Envy's, but beats in to be the flippiest. Neutron/Cosmic Neutron/Prism Proton are very straight with a reliable bite at the end, and probably my favorite to throw. The Prism Plasma and Eclipse are a little beefier than the rest, and very durable.

If you're new, the Envy can be a great introduction to throwing putters. If you aren't, and you haven't thrown it, definitely give it a go.

Possibly the most famous mold in disc golf because of James Conrad's shot at 2021 World Championships. There's a reason that disc was in his hand that day. The Envy is stable with a very mild fade. Comfortable on power and fan grips, you can send it on any line you like. My Neutron plastic disc has held its flight characteristics for years. I recently picked one up in Electron plastic.

I also throw and putt with the Proxy which is great for hyzer flip and turnover shots. The discs share the same core so the grip is remarkably similar which I enjoy.

There's some conventional wisdom that a person should learn to throw putters and miss before picking up drivers. I'm not certain that's true, but if I were to hand someone a putter to learn with I'd definitely reach for an Envy or Proxy.

Great putter for outside of circle one. Similar to the proxy in feel but provides slightly more overstability that helps in winder situations. It's a great throwing putter, but I would recommend a more premium plastic. Overall my favorite putter right now.

Hands down the best throwing putter I've touched. I've had a bunch in a few different plastics but the best for me have always been in Electron firm. Thrown hard and moderately beat in they flip up the tiniest bit and will ride 300' on an absolute rope. Powered down to about 200' they hold your release angle beautifully and show just a bit of fade at the end. Other plastics can be significantly more stable and fade a good bit more, but I find the electron firm to be plenty torque resistant while maintaining minimal fade which is precisely what I want from it. Off the tee it's in a league of its own for holding whatever line you put it on. If there is a downside to it I'd say it's a bit glidey for easy distance control when thrown flat.

This disc is hard to describe, it flies differently to most os discs where it goes as far left as a 2 fade but a slower change in angle, causing a further os putter flight. it doesnt fight out very much from an anny, but does show a fade when thrown flat.

This disc is just truly amazing. It really deserves all the praise its gotten and continues to get. I have this disc in two plastics (prism proton and proton) and they do fly rather different. The prism proton is noticeably more overstable and will bite much more throughtout the flight. The proton when powered on a little bit, will fly dead straight with a little bit of fade at the very end of its flight. They are very complimentary to each other and make an excellent all around combo

Fun Fact, I watched James Conrad throw in the Holy Shot, went deaf for a few hours from how loud it got!

New to me, but is what I need from a driving putter! Shallow rim putter feeld great in the hand and does what it is supposed to do! Been told that the Neutron Soft is the most stable and the fission is the least stable. Essential driving putter.

Straight disc with a touch of fade at the end. Point and shoot. Holds whatever line or angle it's on, so if you are slightly off out of the hand from the tee pad it stays off line and off angle increasingly more throughout it's flight. If you are dialed or just want to throw pushing hyzers and anny that hold then it's a great disc. It just won't fight out so you gotta be accurate and in control to get a good proper flight out of it. Seasoned it beats in to hyzer flip straight. Not very glidy as many people say.

This is a great throwing putter. I have this disc in several different plastics but I prefer neutron plastic. This disc will go straight and then has a good fade at the end. If I want a disc to just go straight or want some turn first I choose different throwing putters for those shot needs.

This disc is my go-to throwing putter. In beat-in fission plastic, this thing gets maybe -0.75 turn on a full rip, with the advertised fade. For more gentle shots, this disc goes dead straight until it's ready to stop moving then fades reliably. Super workable disc.

176 gram Fission Envy. Phenomenal disc. Super straight and reliable approach disc with slight fade. Can throw it hard without worrying about it turning too much. Fission plastic feels good and seems pretty durable. If you already have a Zone or similar overstable approach disc a Envy + Proxy combination should be enough to handle almost any shot within 150-200 feet of the basket. After the Buzzz, the Envy is probably my most frequently thrown disc.

Usually go with the Electron Soft but I will use the Protron plastic for long throws and a Nuetron Soft for an inbetween. I tried using it as my putter for awhile but just wasnt for me. I mean what hasn't been said about this disc as Jame Conrad shot it into stardom. I've thrown it in basically all the plastic types but find the eclipse to be the best as it's the most reliable in wind and holds that stability longer than other plastics. If you're into cycling discs, the electron is good to beat in for your straight putter. Best off the tee - I don't putt with these much.

The envy has become my main putter for putting. I was putting with a dynamic discs marshal before this. It replaced the marshal in my bag because I needed something slightly more stable, and the envy delivers. It's super consistent coming out of my hand, and now that I've beat one in it's dead straight. The hand feel was perfect for me because it felt like my beat in marshals, but with all the stability of a new marshal. For more reference, my main marshal was used to the point the micro bead had completely worn off. I almost picked the warden, but I preferred the envy for its consistency even in the wind.

One of the few discs that I would recommend any player trying out, especially in the Eclipse plastic. It has just enough stability to throw a variety of shot shapes and is great for shorter technical wooded courses. If thrown straight it has a dependable but soft fade at the end of its flight, but can also be thrown on slight anhyzer for small tight flex shots or on hyzer for pushing straight shots that continue to fade.

By far the best throwing putter that I've ever used. The disc is fairly shallow which makes it comfortable for any grip. The Envy has a good amount of stability to begin but after a lot of use it goes dead straight with minimal fade at the end. While I prefer the neutron plastic, I would recommend any form of electron if you want a bit less stability or a beat in turnover disc.

My favorite of all the discs I've thrown so far. A fantastic putter for upshots that seems to hit the mark very consistently for me. Started out moderately overstable and has since beaten in to a nice, consistent, gentle fade and has shown no signs of changing anymore. Super easy to predict and shape both hyzers and flex shots with. The proton plastic is holding up excellently after a couple of months.

I also really love the profile and how it feels in my hand, so much so that I might try one in electron to putt with. Truly a fantastic putter in every regard.

My favorite disc. Been throwing it for two months or so and have loved every minute of it. Started out moderately OS and gradually beat in to a nice mild-but-predictable fade. This change could also be attributed to an improvement in my technique getting more spin, though, so hard to really tell I suppose. In any case, it's my go-to disc for controlled upshots and shorter hyzers. In proton, it can be prone to the skipping on some surfaces when brand new, but this quality has reduced over time.

The Envy is my favorite throwing putter I have one Eclipse 2.0 that is overstable and a flippy Electron Firm, both are thrown probably more than any other disc in my bag! I love the low profile of the disc and the different shots it can handle! Eclipse often is the most overstable run of envy (mine has a completely diffenent shaped wing) but I love having the same disc flippy and stable. Envy, Chef's Kiss.

Summary: A slower approach disc that's overstable, but not a Zone clone.

Feel: I think Proton plastic may have the best of both worlds. The overmold being a more base plastic for beating in nicely, and the flight plate being premium feels great for throwing. The Envy is a little deeper than what's comfortable for a putting putter, so you may prefer to use the Envy as a thrower.

Flight: The Envy in Proton plastic is a bit more overstable than baseline. Axiom knows this and changes the flight numbers based on plastic as you may notice. It's straight for 80% of the flight but fades always. It's got great torque resistance to be able to be thrown off the tee.

The Eclipse Envy is a fantastic throwing putter. It's quite torque resistant which makes it a solid choice for forehand. The rim is not too deep and it has a simple, somewhat straighter, reliable fade which makes it a good choice for backhand too. The plastic feels nice and there is not a ton of ground action so it is really great for upshots or shorter holes. I use the Envy for straight to stable shots at about 200 feet and in and have been loving it!

I'm at the point in my game where focusing on putting has become the objective. I scoured the internet finding putter recommendations and tried everything from disc craft, innovative, and MVP. I was looking for that one putter I could order 4 or 5 duplicates of and just work on the shot. I liked the Anode from MVP but felt like it had too much of a dome on the fingers. I read about the Envy and ordered one just when the prism plasma hit infinite discs.

It's perfect. It feel great in the hand, you get a nice tight grip, and the release is like butter. Great off the Tee and has a consistent fade (once you know your plastic). I have one in the proton soft, one eclipse 2.0, and 3 in the prism plasma. Jury is still out on the eclipse stability, but the soft proton is definitely more understable, though not so much that the same release from a distance won't hit about the same spot. A friend has the electron soft, which was inbetween soft proton and prism, it's a nice disc but I don't like it as much as the other plastics.

Some people say they don't like it up close to the basket, but I don't get that... it is stick straight with a confident putt, and you can still loft it if you want, just put a little spin on it. The only reason I don't recommend it for true beginners is the fade is gonna throw you at first. Over all I think it's all around perfect and I will never buy another putter again,

Envy is my go-to for a longer, more direct approach. It's even great off the tee. I usually bag 2 to 3 Envys. 1 in Firm Electron plastic, 1 Prism Plasma,  and 1 Eclipse 2.0.

  • The Electron plastic beats in easily, but nicely. After a while can get some good turn/flip up to shape lines.
  • The Prisim Plasma is reliably straight with a dependable, subtle finish.
  • The Eclipse is the stable one in the mix and does not beat in very easily. I use this one off the tee because I have found it to be to most torque resistant.

With all that being said; I was very excited for the Total Eclipse Envy. I haven't had a chance to throw it, but still wanted to leave a review. The disc looks amazing! I really dig the glow gyro rim, and the stamp is very creative. I had to get 2 - one to throw, and one for show. My only complaint is that on one of them, the flight plate does not glow, only the rim.

My most used disc in my bag. Anything from 100-275ft. is in the Envy approach zone. It's amazing how well these beat in, especially in electron plastic. The electron soft and normal can get chunked up pretty easily but it is better base plastic than most companies.

The eclipse glow is excellent (super bright!!), but I usually throw Proton or Electron Firm plastic for the envy. I have about 6 envy's and keep 2 in the bag at all times... it's hard to not buy more. Great for backhand flex lines too for shorter courses.

The prism plasma envy is a great throwing putter. It is overstable enough you can thrown it full power if necessary. Mine flies straight before having a pushing hyzer at the end. It feels great in the hand and I do enjoy the prism plasma plastic as well. Even after throwing it for a year it still flies very similar to how it did when it was brand new. I also like the envy in this plastic for forehands as well. It flies very straight with a little bit of fade. When I do throw it forehand I only throw it from a standstill. To throw it forehand you need to have clean form and release. It is still a putter and will not hold up to any OAT. I do think this would be a good disc to use if you did want to work on your forehands and work on not having any OAT.

I bag two of these. One is seasoned, the other newer. I use them for both putting and throwing.

I like the Envy because I feel that the heaviness and electron firm plastic make it more forgiving to small form deviations while putting.

The newer one flies dead straight with a mild but dependable fade (around 220ft or less)

The seasoned one flies similar but with a smidge of turn.

They both fly very neutral and hold slight anhyzer lines well. I plan to keep these in my bag for the long term.

I bought a 174g Fission Envy hoping that the Fission plastic in the full weight would be a little more overstable than my slightly beat in Neutron and Plasma Envys. That ended up not being the case. Out of the box there was no noticeable turn like with the Electron Envy but there was also not quite as much as finish as with the other premium plastic. It flew very similar to how my older Neutron Atom flew when it was new. Very dead straight with just a tiny bit of fade at the end but also able to hold turnover lines decently well. I really like this disc but I'm not sure it will make my bag because I have other Envys that I am more comfortable with. I would recommend an Envy to anyone but as my personal preference, the Fission plastic is not right for me.

This disc exudes confidence. I'm consistently impressed with the quality of approach shots I'm able to throw with it, especially for the low ceiling scrambles and other situations which aren't so easily solved with an upshot. I prefer the Luna off the tee most of the time because it's a bit more glidey and I lack the power to throw the Envy far, but for any shot which calls for an approach under 200 feet, the Envy shines above any other disc I've thrown. The James Conrad worlds hype genuinely has some truth to it: this disc is a throw-in machine.

Ever since I started playing, I have struggled to find a throwing putter that I was happy with. I could not figure out why I didn't like them until I picked up an Envy. The Envy is much more shallow than a typical putter, thus I get a much cleaner release with it, and you can easily power this up and get it past 200 feet without it flipping on you. This is a stable mid-range, in the form of a putter. Base plastic will allow some flip, premium plastic is stable, thus this is the only approach disc I feel the need to bag.

I struggle to believe that there is a better throwing putter on the market.

Neutron Envy best driving putter! I got a new one ordered during this review.

I have many different Envy's for varying shots. I've found the Neutron to beat in gently to a reliable neutral driving putter, I used to use electron for driving/approach but found it to be a bit less reliable for my distance. Electron also can turn over more easily when thrown hard. I have a Prism that is just too pretty to throw, so it is on the wall!

I have bagged and used this disc in 4 different plastics and have experimented with dozens of other putters. This disc remains in my bag for a reason. Everyone acknowledges how great of a throwing putter it is (and it is) but I use Envys and Zones for touchy upshots and this disc is also great at touchy "up the gut" shots, hyzers and anhyzers. Great disc for throw-ins as well. It holds the line you put it on, and you can trust the disc.

The only major and noticeable downside is that in the softer plastics (my preference), the discs are not durable whatsoever. One I bought last week got a chunk out of the side from a single putt that hit a basket. They break in and warp very fast. However, this disc is good enough that I will continue to buy them by the dozen.

This disc is beginner and advanced level friendly. I cannot say for pros or "advanced" as I am more along the amateur skill level, however it is certainly a disc that anyone could use.

To me a putting putter is 75% of how a disc feels in your hand. For my hands the envy is prefect. I use to putt with Wizards, and I found by switching to the envy (originally an upshot/driving putter) just bumped my game up so much more. Sold the Wizards and bought 10 envy firms to practice with.
I love the envy so much I had to get it in all its plastics. So JC Electron Firm is by far my favorite. I like it's flight with its mild turn and moderate fade. Next would be Electron Soft, which has a touch more turn and glide, and a soft cushion so I use this disc a lot for my upshot or C2 Putting. The Eclipse 2.0 version is has a touch less turn then the Firm, less glide, and more Fade. I like this disc on windy days for longer putts, its durable and stable which makes it predictable. The Plasma version on the putter made it more stable then Neutron Soft. The Cosmic Neutron is most stable version.

An incredible putter for those who like a beadless, thin-in-the-hand style putter with loads of glide. With a small push/spin hybrid putt they have enough stability to run straight for 25-30 feet with a slight fade at the end.

For a thrower, highly recommend the Neutron Firm plastic for a reliable straight flier that will beat into a workhorse.

Is this the best throwing putter on the market? I think so!

I did not believe the hype until I tried it myself. I bought an electron soft Envy first, it started off overstable but it has now beat-in to a perfect straight flyer for me. I now have it in the cosmic neutron plastic as well and it is more overstable than the electron and it doesn't beat in very much. I now can use both of these discs for almost any shot shape inside 250ft.

Go give it a try, you will not regret it!

This will cover Electron, Plasma and Prism Plasma in similar weights. For similarities between them all they are first, very comfortable in the hand in a variety of grips, go straight with a reliable fade. They also work really well for forehands. You just need a bit of touch as none of the plastic types are as stable as your typical approach disc. With thrown on a bit of hyzer it flips up to flat, goes straight and fades out nicely.

Electron: Starts out like a typical Envy. Straight to slightly overstable. As it beats in you will see more and more turn. Mine now is very nice for big sky anhyzer throws, hyzerflips, or those touch anhyzer forehand shots. Electron still keeps that good grip when beat in too. Very solid!

Plasma: Starts off a tick more stable brand new compared to a brand new electron. So far after a few months it still holds its original flight characteristics for the most part. Just a smidge less stable than when out of the box. Plasma feels great, but can get a bit slick. Would not recommend attempting to throw them in the rain or very wet conditions. Otherwise, plasma is money.

Prism Plasma: Firstly, the plastic is gorgeous. Second, it feels very similar in the hand to normal plasma, but for some reason it feels like the durability is better? It is also much more stable out of the box. When thrown flat backhand it definitely fades out quicker than normal plasma and can handle a bit more torque on a forehand. From what I can tell it will give you similar flights to that of an Eclipse Envy.

Final thoughts:  Fantastic stable to overstable driving putter than really can do it all. The Envy comes in a wide variety of plastics to fill multiple slots in your bag. It can be trusted on any line you put it on.

I bought this disc to fill out my glow collection a little more, and the plastic on this one glows better than any of the other glow plastics I've come across. I tend to use this putter as more of an approach putter on the shorter side of midrange; I find that I have a better result with it at a slightly faster speed than it's rated for. Just for the fun of it, I tried to drive this putter and had a surprisingly good result. I don't know the numbers for sure, but I got about 250-300 feet out of it and it flew flat and straight until it faded out at the end. I'm a big fan of this disc, especially for the approach side of it.

175g Neutron Soft Axiom Envy

I really wanted to try a neutron soft putter and I like the plastic. It feels like the nuetron with a little give to it, not as rigid. The Envy is a consistent putter with a little fade, the numbers are pretty accurate perhaps a 1.5-2.0 fade. My favorite putter is the Innova Nova, but the Axiom Envy is pretty close.

I have only been playing for about half a year at this point and playing pretty heavily wooded courses, but the Proton Envy has improved my game drastically. Since I still have a lower arm speed and am working on my form, I primarily use lower speed discs (p&a and midranges). I was not very satisfied with the low speed discs I started out with (DX Aviar, DX Shark), because I didn't find them to be very comfortable to throw and I turned them over easily. The Envy, on the other hand, was surprisingly comfortable in the hand, despite its unique shape, and has a very smooth, straight flight with a little fade. It is also an incredibly versatile disc for my game. I often use it to drive shorter and downhill holes and it is my go-to approach disc. For my purposes, I find that it pairs nicely with the R-Pro Pig and that those two discs together cover a lot of the situations I have been in. I have made all of my friends who are also new to the sport try it out, and they all have agreed that this is a great disc.

I grabbed an Envy in Plasma plastic mainly to be used off the tee on shorter holes. I needed something I could throw full power and hold a line without too much fade or glide. I couldn't be happier with my choice. The disc itself is an orange and yellow multicolor dye with glitter and looks absolutely amazing. I don't usually comment on appearance but it's now the nice looking disc in my bag, so it's worth mentioning.

It performs exactly as I expected. Nice when thrown hard and shouldn't get away from you. The shape of the edge is a little different and may take some getting used to. This shape and plastic choice make less beginner friendly imo. I likely wont use it for anything within a 100 feet and have go to putters I prefer when within putting distance. Overall a pretty cool disc worth adding to the collection even just to show off once and while!.

This has to be one of the best discs in the Axiom lineup in my opinion. It is very dependable, and is a very controllable version of something like an Entropy.

This is a throwing putter, I would probably never use this to putt.

I also love the feel of the eclipse plastic. Easily the best glow plastic in the game. It glows in my bag in my room all night when the lights are off, goes to show how much light it can absorb. Mine is custom stamped for a friends shop and feels a bit flatter than others from the box, which I appreciate it for.

I love my Envy, superb disc.

The Axiom Envy is one of the most famous disc golf discs, for good reason! Some say it's like the the Gateway Wizard. I like the Envy for of its unique combination of glide and reliability. Just enough fade, but not too much. It’s great for a one-disc round, and due to its overstability, you can throw it well both forehand and backhand, and trust the stability. I have this disc in a variety of plastics. They beat in at different rates, though I have to say the Neutron plastic hardly beats in at all. Also my Proton plastic Envy was less stable than my Neutron one.. I didn't expect that. If you haven't tried the Envy yet, you're missing out!

This is the best throwing putter I have come across. I got a few of these several years ago and they are in several stages of wear. I have one that is nice and flippy that wont turn and burn but hold an Ani very well and fly for days. I have a newer one that can be trusted in wind to hold the line no matter how much heat I put on it.

The Envy is also a decent putting putter especially if you dont like deep putters

Great putter for people good at longer puts, or for throwing. I do not use the same putter for putting (I use the ohm, or Proxy for putting) that I use for throwing, or making a long run at the basket. I find this putter to sit in the sweet spot for those short upshots and when you want a confident and precise shot at around that 170ft. range (for me, better players will be more like 220ft). This disc is perfectly fine for putting too, especially for people who find neutral putters to be just a touch too understable.

This disc is an absolute slam dunk. The feel of it, the flight of it, everything. It is said that the discraft buzzz is the greatest mid range out there, and the envy is very much like the putt and approach form of the buzzz. It has a very similar shape, but it is slightly taller, has that non mid range smaller diameter, and that perfect amount of glide and fade that makes for an ultra trusty disc

TLDR: Best throwing putter on the market. Get it in different plastics to cover all ranges of stability.

Feels uniquely lidlike in the hand. It has a blunt, curved rim, unlike many putters with flat surfaces. medium depth. It's a faster putter, so you will find it almost at midrange distance when you throw it the same power as other putters.

Eclipse 2.0 is beefy. It can fight some wind and flex out of anhyzer. 3|3|0|2.5

Neutron is buttery straight with a decent fade at the end. 3|4|0|1.5

Electron starts out laser straight then beats in to a turnover disc. Electron plastic has good grip but tends to warp after a few tree kicks. To my knowledge it hasn't affected the flight at all. 3|4|-0.5|0.5

This is everything I thought it would be and more. I use envys for all of my putter shots.

The Envy is a disc that not only I, but almost any other disc golfer will highly recommend. For me on both back hand and forehand, it is a great straight stable throwing putter. For Tee shots there is a gently present fade at the end of the flight. For approach flights, that fade is extremely minimal. Its fantastic, don't question just buy it.

The Envy is my favorite throwing putter I have ever used. The first one I bought was in Electron Soft. I quickly added an Electron Firm, Proton, Plasma, Soft Neutron, and Eclipse 2.0. My favorite plastic is Soft Neutron. The flight numbers seem pretty accurate, electrons are noticeably less stable for me. I throw the Envy up to 250 feet off the tee. In the premium plastics it has no turn and a reliable fade at the end for my arm speed. Electron has a little turn and less fade than the premium plastics.

I do not putt with the Envy as I prefer to use beaded putters.

Don't let the 4 star rating fool you. I do love this disc. However, I had to drop a start due to the expectation based on the rating. My Envy (although I see the flight numbers are different here on Infinite) shows a -1 turn. There is no way you're getting this putter to turn unless into a headwind. It's super stable, which is a great if that's what you're looking for.

This disc feels great in the hand, and if you're looking for a fantastic throwing putter, this should be one of the first ones you look to. Throw it as hard as you want, and it will fly straight and then have a reliable medium fade at the end of the flight. Approaches are predictable, but you do have to be careful not to throw past the basket too far, as it is kind of a fast putter.

The only reason this disc hasn't stayed in my bag, and does go in and out, is because I have fallen too in love with my Lucid X Judge. It has a similar flight, but and due to the plastic type, gets a little bit of slide/skip when I need that that this Envy won't get. The big positive for the Envy is that it's much easier to find since DD only seems to make Lucid X plastic in certain molds every couple of years unfortunately.

Proton Envy

Currently my most used throwing putter. Stable flight but does beat in to a more straight flight after enough throws. However, what I love about MVP plastic is the long durability for a new disc. As you probably guess by the numbers, flight is straight with a soft fade at the end if thrown low and straight. It will come out of a forced turn but the fade on mine is not strong enough to use it as a forced flex disc. For this reason it is very workable, especially when it is more seasoned. But, I still do not use it for my "dead straight" and slight turnover throwing putters. Mine is too stable for those softer touch shots.

Plenty of glide, feels great BH and FH, and the numbers are spot on. If you get your angles right you can use it in moderate head winds as well. Overall, excellent throwing and approach putter.

Best throwing putter out there.

This disc has a higher glide rating than 3, because when thrown with the right angle and power it will fly 300' easily. I think if people are looking to practice getting their driving form down, I would practice with the envy. It is a very low speed, but can resist power and torque. It will let you know if your angle or form are off.

Love this for 250' approach shots and tee shots in technical wooded courses.

The gyro strikes again and has made a perfect driving putter.

The Axiom Envy is a lovely disc! It does its best work when it is thrown at a high speed down fairways. It has a nice, consistent flight path, and tends to sort of drop out of the air without fading or turning at the end of its flight! You can really launch this disc, and it won’t flip over! It’s a great disc to have for shots where you need something that will consistently fly straight and hold whatever line you give it. I’ve never thrown a putter that is more dedicated to holding the line it is given. This disc loves to be put on a hyzer line and will hold it to the ground. If you put it on an anhyzer line, it wants to work for you and keep that line as well! When you put it on anhyzer, it holds the line well, and then slowly drifts to flat if given enough space. If you don’t put much power into it, it can be a great around the corner disc. Or if you are simply looking for an overstable approach disc, it tends to bite and stick where it lands. As far as actually using this disc for putting, I don’t know that I would. I’d go with something more like an MVP Nomad, or even an Axiom Proxy. But that’s just me, and the way it feels in my hand. I think most people who pick up this disc are getting it with the purpose of using it as an approach disc anyways.

I just started playing a few months ago and I'm so glad I found out about this disc so soon. I absolutely love how it flies. I have read a lot of reviews for this disc and most everyone uses it as a throwing putter only. I can only agree that this is a fantastic throwing putter and one that will help anyone get better, no matter the skill level. Though, I also really enjoy putting with this disc, I can control it better than my other putters and the in hand feel is fantastic. I have 2 in different plastics, one in plasma for drives and approaches, and one in electron firm for putting. I can't recommend this disc enough for anyone to try out and get better!

The envy is one of most popular throwing putters out there, and for good reason.  It's overstable and torque-resistant enough to resist turning over, but has a forward push rather than dumping out of the sky.  The envy is perfect for any putter shot that needs to go super straight for the majority of the flight and then have a moderate fade.  The disc is very flat and feels good for both power grips and modified fan grips.

Review for a proton envy:

I love my proton envy. It is one of the best all around putters that I have ever tried. I can drive with it, push putt, spin putt, and throw upshots with it. It does everything perfectly. It is slightly overstable and very torque resistant for a putter. It is the most shallow putter I have ever felt. This makes the disc feel great in my small hands. It is flat topped too, so it feels great for driving. The lack of a bead makes driving easier too. All in all, this is just an amazing disc. The only reason I put it as only somewhat beginner friendly is because of its overstablilty. It is easy to throw for beginners but you can doo better. If you want a disc that feels similar but is more understable, try a colt.

Speed: This disc is definitely a 3 speed. It is slow but it goes far for a putter.

Glide: This disc glides very well. 3 might be an understatement. I would give it a 4 glide.

Turn: Until it is beaten in well, my envy would not even think of flipping off the tee. It is not a super overstable disc, but it isn´t flippy either.

Fade: This disc fades softly at the end. A 2 fade is accurate.

The envy is a outstanding disc.I love this disc for approach shots. It is a great turn over disc.It is also a great putting putter. This disc holds any line you put it on.I love it for straight to overstable discs.I love it for spin putts. It is a great all around disc. There is not a lot left I can say about the proton envy except for speed, glide, turn, and fade.

SPEED:It is definetly a 3 speed.I don´t know what else it could be.It is a great speed for beginners.

GLIDE:It does not have a 3 glide it is definetely a 4 glide.I don´t know if it´s just my proton envy but mine is very glidy and defenetly not a 3 glide.

TURN:It probably has a -1 turn.Not a 0 turn.

FADE:It probably has a two fade.Mabe a 1 fade though.

Review for a proton envy:

I love my proton envy so much. I saw it was one of the highest rated putters and decided to check it out. I love it. It is the shallowest putter I have ever felt so it fits perfectly in my smaller hands. It has no bead so it feels great for driving and putting. It is one of my favorite driving putters. I can rip on it and it still gives me a nice straight flight. Putting with it, I can spin putt this disc very easily since it is such a shallow disc. There is not much else I can say that hasn´t been said already. The reason I rate it as somewhat beginner friendly is because it is somewhat overstable and as a beginner you can do better. A very beginner friendly disc that feels similar is the innova colt.

Speed: This disc is definitely a 3 speed. It is easy to throw.

Glide: This disc glides very well. It just flies far. A 3 glide is accurate.

Turn: A new envy will not turn at all. Only a well beat envy will turn. A 0 turn is acurate.

Fade: This disc is rated as a 2 fade. I think that is accurate. The fade makes this disc respnd well to higher power.

I bought this disc after seeing many reviews that said the Envy is one of the best throwing putters in the game, and it hasn't disappointed. It feels and flies much like my DX Aviar 3, with slightly less fade, which is exactly what I was looking for. The Envy holds its line very well and fades smoothly. I use this for approach shots that I feel are too short for a midrange and too far to run, though I can usually give the Envy a good run throwing it backhand. This is the first disc I bought from MVP/Axiom, and I like stiffer plastic, so I went with the electron firm, and I love it. The feel is great and it is surprisingly durable. I love the designs MVP/Axiom has, and the rubber edge being a different color adds that extra style that I love in my discs.

This is one of my favorite discs! I use this off the tee approach shots and putting.  I can throw this as hard as i want and it turns a bit more than the 0 would indicate, but it flies very straight and consistently and just keeps gliding forever.  I can throw this disc as far almost as far as I can a fairway driver!  I would recommend for everybody it is probably the disc that will never leave my bag because I cannot imagine a round without this disc.

My driving putter search is over. This thing is the bee's knees off the tee. With a lot of power it will go flat and ride straight with zero turn. Can get it out to 200-250 no problem. This disc is exactly that long straight approach putter I was looking for. It's shallower depth makes it super comfortable. I've got it in the eclipse plastic at 174g.

Perfect driver putter imo.

This is my favorite throwing putter for any near full power throws. It's incredibly torque resistant and can take a full rip despite only being a three speed disc. In electron firm it will turn some, but still will consistently finish left. Also, this can get some crazy distance for a putter, as it is so incredibly glidey. In proton plastic it won't turn as much but also isn't particularly overstable. It just will consistently fly flat to finish.

As far as throwign putters go, this is a 5 star disc.

What a great putter. In Plasma at 169g it threw my Pa3 out of the bag. It's perfect for drives and is amazing straight at puts up to 30 ft. After that power up or a little anhyser and your making a run at the basket. Grab one today, you won't regret it.

Excelent disc that belongs in every bag! Has reliable fade that isn't to strong, when beat in you get a nice baby flip for glide, holds hyzers and anhyzers well, even good for putting (bit of turn if spin putting and beat in).

The Envy is imo one of the best putters off the tee pad in disc golf. It is stable enough to throw in West Texas winds. You can put it on any line. It feels good I'm the hand. I bag both the Neutron & Electron plastic. I putt in the circle with the MVP atom but if the wind picks up I witch to the Envy for that added stability.

If you are new to Axiom putters, just know that the outer rim plastic on this Plasma Envy is champion plastic-like with a stiff/slippery type feel.

If you are looking for a softer, chain grabbing plastic on the outer rim,  look at the Electron plastic.

bought a 175 gram plasma. This disc is fantastic for tee shots and for upshots. This disc has great control for when I need to go around 200+ and need to get slightly right. I always go with this disc. You can rip this disc and it will not turn over. I grabbed several MVP's & Axioms and I am  starting to love all of them but this disc has replaced my harp which I thought would not happen. However my harp is very beat in and tends to just stay straight. This disc can take a beating in the Plasma plastic and keep it's fade.

This disc has been the best addition to my bag. Excellent for both throwing and actually putting with. Mine is more overstable than others and it is hard for me to throw on an anhyzer. Other than that this disc is everything I want and more. Couldn't recommend this more.

I just picked up a stack of the Envy in various plastics, including Neutron Soft, Eclipse, Electron (firm, medium, soft).  I played with these yesterday for the first time after getting them and I'm very glad I made the purchase.  Off the tee and on approaches I was throwing the Neutron Soft and Eclipse and they were both fantastic flyers.  Both discs were very straight out of the hand and hold the line you throw them on with a small fade at the end.  The Eclipse had more fade than the Neotron Soft for me, so they complement each other nicely along with my Proxy, giving you coverage for all shots/angles.  I was impressed with how they flew in a headwind as well.  I have previously thrown/putted Wardens and I still think those are great discs, but I found the Envy to be more reliable in windy situations.  In terms of putting, for those who prefer a flat disc with a shallower rim without a bead, this disc has that feel.  It was a slight adjustment for me trying this disc out after putting Wardens for so long, but immediately after putting it in my hand, it just felt right.  Electron plastic feels great in each stiffness version.  Being that I play in Michigan where temperature varies by season, having one of each soft, medium and firm is essential.  If you're concerned about the Gyro rim, I didn't even notice it.  Hope this helps anyone considering the Envy!  I'm enjoying it and looking for to my next round already with this disc!

This is my go-to putting putter.

Looks awesome (it always seems to have sick stamps), and flies nicely.  Little bit of fade at the end, but a nice straight flying disc for the majority of its flight.  I find it pretty easy to flick forehand as well, as the overmold it really comfortable in my hand.

I like it in the Electron soft plastic - has a good grip, both in the hands and on the chains.  I've got 4 of these that I keep in my bag just for putting.

I got this disc from the gyropalooza they hold every year in Marlette, michigan. I got to say this disc is outstanding for  driving or long approach shots. I use a Nova for straight to understable approach shots. This disc however I am starting to use more and more when I need to rip a shot that is around 200ft and I need to stay stable. This disc is great. I can usually throw it around 200-230ft. But I can also put some touch on it and it still will go. I will not just meat hook it's way. It will stay just slightly stable.

These discs also come in some great looking colors as well.

Let me start out this disc is awesome!!! I go in between the envy and truth as favorite disc. I found a envy at local disc park, of course called guy back but he said keep due to different state , but he had a couple aces on bottom with disc. Me no ace yet. More off the tee with this disc, more I throw disc more I fall in love with this discs. It's not my putter I use a warden. Man hands down this is best and most underrated throwing disc. Slightly understandable. Just hold lines, no meat hook fade. Just starting to work on touch flick shots, excellent for those shots. I'll I can say for those golfers only sticking with one manufacturer, try different ones , you might find a gem in different manufacturer.  I primarily through Innova, but 2 of my favorite discs are different manufacturers.

Stated simply: the Envy is the best stable/straight throwing putter I've ever tested, and I've tested a lot of putters. If you want the ultimate in straight driving putters, this should be in your bag. It is easily is one of my favorite discs ever made.

This putter is very stable, yet at the same time it hardly has any fade, which makes it a unique disc that holds a straight line better than any putter on the market that I'm aware of. The harder you throw it, the straighter it flies. It can take a lot of power and resist turning over, yet it will hardly fade on you. I have never experienced the fade of 2 that the disc is rated, unless maybe on very short approach shots.. The truth is, on a good rip, this disc rating is closer (3,4,0,0.5), yet way more stable than discs rated with such little fade. The Proton Envy would be closer to (3,3,0,1)

The Electron Firm is board flat, flatter than the Proton. Compared to the Proton Envy, the Electron Firm flies a little bit farther due to the extra glide, has better grip, has a flatter top, and a smoother release. The one thing the Proton has going for it is that it will beat in much slower than the Electron and keep it's stability longer. I like to carry both because I am hoping when the Electron Firm beats in a little bit, it will a nice compliment to the slightly more stable Proton one.

I also like the Electron Firm as a putter. It putts stable and releases extremely smooth. I have never liked the idea of putting with an over-mold putter, but this disc is changing my mind. It is very solid as a putter, even though the magic of this putter is as a drive and approach disc.

The Envy is a beadless putter that is very firm, grippy(even in cold or wet weather), and board flat.. It is slightly deeper than the Judge or Pure, and for me it hit the sweet spot for flatness, firmness, stability, glide, and depth.

This disc absolutely deserves to be in the conversation of best discs on the market!!!

Solid putter and surprisingly popular for a not so well known brand. Axiom actually makes some awesome discs that I really enjoy, so if you are one of the players who has an Envy but hasn't tried anythign else, check out some other discs in their lineup!

The Envy has a nice low glide to it added with the stability make this a fantastic wind putter and a consistent finisher. If you are a touch putter than this may not be for you, but for those who strong putt into the chains, especially spin putters, this will be great.

The Electron soft is a really good grippiness and pretty durable for a soft plastic. This was my go to putter for a while, then I switched just to try something else, and then I came back to the Envy because it just feels right.

I also use it for any approach shots inside 180' that need a little fade at the end. its line fits great between a harp and my deputy. filled a spot in my bag immediately. I would recommend this putter to both beginners and pros.

Maybe the best driving putter I've ever thrown. Typically with a putter this stable you get very little glide, but you can rip on the Envy without it turning over and it will continue to glide through the air. This disc is straight $$$ off the tee up to 250' for me, and has almost eliminated the need for mids in my bag.

Hands down one of the best putters ever made. In Neutron plastic it flies with good glide and dependable fade and will not turn over at any power unless there is a strong headwind. In Electron plastic it will fly a tad less stable, but is much better for catching chains while putting, especially the Electron Soft.

This is for a 169g Plasma Envy.

I picked this up because I wanted something a little less beefy feeling than my 171g Axiom Alias.

When the Envy arrived I spent several days doing one disc rounds with it.

First, what really surprised me was how my snap putts started hitting the chains and dropping in from 20 to 40 feet with more regularity than ever before. The Envy simply goes straight. I didn't even buy this for putting but it has replaced my Banger GT for nearly every putt (unless I need to weave inside trees, the Banger floats nicely for those.)

For mid range shots up to around 275' this disc does exactly what you tell it to. I tend to keep my mid range shots fairly low so the fade doesn't often come into play which is why I think of it more as a fade 1 than a fade 2. If you sky it out it will sharply fade at the end, but put a good nose down smash on this disc and it will carry any line you put on it.

Straight shots go straight and then die with very little fade.

Anhyzers hold the line into the dirt, or if I really sky an anny out it might get a little fade glide at the end.

It holds a hyzer  line like it's drawn on paper.

I'm not a great side arm player, but one of my buddies who is tried it for a round and was loving it for his side arms. He ordered one later that same day. His shots were doing whatever he wanted- straight, anny, and hyzer lines were as solid as they were with his side arm as they were for my back hand.

I use the Envy for just about everything 250' and under and it hasn't disappointed me. Now that I've been using one for a few weeks I'm definitely a convert and totally grok why people are gushing about it. If you get one and don't like it (not likely) you'll easily be able to sell it to one of your buddies.

I'm thinking of getting one in Proton plastic for the extra stability to fight out of anny lines a bit more.

One more note. This is my first disc in Plasma plastic and I love the feel. It's a great mix between fission/neutron/proton plastic. Great grip, soft enough to feel the flex, easy to get a nice smooth rip. Also doesn't hurt that it is beautiful, one of the coolest looking plastics I've seen, sort of a velvety/pearl-ish look that also reminds me of polished teak wood (the plastic almost has grains in it.)

The envy changed my game, without a doubt. I had putted aviars forever and was so discouraged to drive with a putter because i'd just flip them over. I switched to envy's and wont be going back. For putting they are stable but not too stable, and for driving they are dead straight with fade at the end. Staple in the bag.

This is the best and most used disc that I own.  I normally bag 3 (seasoned Electron Soft which flies pretty straight now, Electron Firm as my primary putter, and Eclipse which is a bit more OS).  I throw an Envy for practically anything under 225'.  It feels great in the hand, releases clean power grip or fan grip.  Perfect approach disc, and I putt with it too.  Try one!

I bought one of these in Plasma and played a heap of one-disc rounds with it when I was first learning better form and this disc taught me release angle, nose anglegrip and power that using a bunch of random discs never could, elevating me out of beginner territory.

It's got enough stability to handle being a driving putter and makes for a good approach disc too but I would use it less for putts.

If released straight and flat you can rip pretty hard without having it turn and burn on you.
If released on a high anny it will fight back right at the end.
If released on a hyzer it will hold it the whole way.

I normally throw it at near full power with a fan grip off the tee and get about 60m (200ft) of straight flight and then another 10-15m (35ft) of gentle fade.

I have my Plasma Envy beaten in a bit that is straight with very gentle fade now, and a much newer Eclipse Envy which is more overstable, still straight but with slightly less turn and a slightly harder fade, more trustworthy in a headwind.

In my experience the eclipse plastic is the most overstable version and is perfect for straight/stable approaches. I  also use a soft neutron for straighter approaches both forehand and backhand and it's also fantastic. I cannot recommend this disc enough, get one and you won't regret it.

Got this in electron firm 174g bright pink with the DGPT bar stamp.  Great looking disc and it has become my favorite stable driving putter.

Very controllable with enough stability to handle a strong toss, this thing is nice.

It can be pretty glidey, so in a strong headwind I would recommend adding some hyzer to your release-or just using an Innova Rhyno (lol)

I will be purchasing another Envy in proton because I love the mold so much.  It is very comfortable in the hand!

To  preface. I have thrown every flavor of Envy. But for this review I will focus on my favorite: Proton.

The ultimate stable driving putter. Crazy long for a putter, bordering on midrange distance. You can absolutely rip on this disc and as long as you're pretty clean it will stay true to the angle you release it on. But it will always have some fight on the end. In fact, the fade is oddly consistent. No matter how hard you throw it, it has the same solid, but not dumpy, fade.

In fact, to get the best out of the Envy on approaches you need great angle control because it wont fade out extra on softer throws  If you want more of a hyzer, put it on the angle you want and trust it. This, along with it having more range than a typical putter, means there is a bit of a learning curve when it comes to approaches with this disc. But once you have it dialed in, it is a deadly tool.

I've been grinding on the course for a couple of months because I was inspired by these discs. I bag a neutron envy and a plasma proxy. Controlling your shot is an absolute breeze with these discs!!!! the envy is extremely beginner friendly because its higher stability is more forgiving. These discs hold the most pure lines your friends and competitors will have to pick their jaws up off the ground. Everybody I play with asks about the discs after I throw and their all skeptical because Innova. I wouldn't be surprised to see more Axiom being thrown in my area this year.

The Envy is easily one of the best throwing putters on the market! My absolute favorite for sure! I have thrown the Envy in Plasma, Neutron, Soft Neutron, Eclipse, Electron, and Soft Electron plastic... and it is absolutely amazing in each and every one of these plastics! I currently bag 3, all for different reasons. Soft Neutron is the most overstable in my opinion. I use my Soft Neutron for short drives that I need fade on and almost every single one of my approach shots! This thing is an absolute work horse! I use my Plasma Envy for more short strait tunnel shots off the tee and straight upshots as well. Perfect for throwing hard and flat and letting it just glide straight! I use my Soft Electron Envy for putting in high winds as well as short approach shots where I need the disc to grab the ground and stick.

As you can tell, the Envy has a ton of different uses and it's one of the most reached for discs in my bag. I wish I could go back to when I first started playing and put an Envy in my hands then. The Envy led to my first ever Intermediate win (non sanctioned tournament) on one of the windiest days I had ever played. Each hole of the tournament was set up and marked off as an island green. On almost every single hole I drove with my Envy because I knew it would fight the wind and go where I wanted it to. In the same tournament I switched from my normal putting putter (Atoms) to the Envy as well due to the wind. This thing was money, the entire time. I would say 95% of my throws/putts in that tournament was with an Envy and it led to me getting the win. Because of this, my bag will never be without an Envy! Do yourself a favor and pick one (or 5) up!

The Envy is a stable flying putter from Axiom Discs. The Envy feels great in the hand and has a nice flat profile that makes for easy, clean releases. This disc also has some stability, handling power and wind extremely well. This is an amazing approach disc a and driving putter. Its stable, but very workable. I would compare the flight to a slightly worn in Wizard. I really wasn't a fan of the Envy as a putter, but that is more of a feel thing for me with the overmold. Overall, this is just an awesome disc.

I LOVE this putter...i started off with Electron Standard, then purchased the soft. As I had a consistent problem with my pinky catching the rim on my release on every type of putter out there...the shallower rim allowed me to release more cleanly and my accuracy and putts improved drastically over just a few weeks practicing with them. I was so impressed i purchased Electron firm for a driving putter...and WOW...that's an entity all on its own. I recommend this putter for any skill level...with practice in my opinion is a lot more user friendly. Regardless, this is another excellent disc from Axiom....Thanks for your time.

I don’t know how Axiom made this disc, but they absolutely hit it out of the park. This is basically the midrange of putters, in that it has a crazy amount of torque resistance paired with insane glide. When getting more comfortable with power gripping putters, this is the one mold that really excelled off the tee. I’ve thrown this disc in brand new neutron, beat up neutron, and electron soft. The new neutron is pretty darn stable, and works very well for headwinds, straight forehands, and glide backhand flex shots. The beat up neutron (my favourite), is hands down one of the most workable putters to date. It will literally hold every line you put it on all the way to the ground without crashing. I also learned how to throw short forehand hyzerflip to turn shots with it. There are holes at my local course where I’m throwing a mid or even a fairway, and I was able to park them with the neutron envy. I checked out an electron soft envy for approach shots that will stick, which worked out decently well. The only thing I didn’t like this disc for was fan grip touch/approach shots; I felt like the sharp rim of the neutron didn’t allow me to get very comfortable or consistent releases, but maybe that’s just me. If there’s one disc by Axiom/MVP that you need to check out, this is it.

Very neutral flight that holds lines exceptionally.

Neutron plastic feels a bit slick at first but with wear becomes more grippy imo.

I throw this disc in Electron and Electron Soft.

Electron Soft:

The only putter I had before this disc was a 2001 Aviar. 17 years later I felt it was time to upgrade. I walked into the local disc golf store and looked around. I went straight for the Discmania P2 just like everyone else but noticed that it was to deep for my hands. So I picked up the Envy. It felt perfect in my hands, and the Electron Soft plastic felt amazingly grippy. I immediately knew that this will be my putter.

Electron:

After noticing that the Envy is great for driving, I hit a couple of trees with the Electron Soft as any mortal person does. Well, the Electron Soft can't handle tree hits. It will bend itself out of shape (I still use the bent ones. They're awesome). I decided to get the Electron as a replacement. It handles trees way better, while not compromising too much on the grip that the Soft provides.

Conclusion:

I would say that the Electron Soft Envy is super for putting with, but since it can't really handle tree hits, it might not be the greatest for driving with on wooded courses. The non-Soft Electron fixes that issue. Personally I've had some issues gripping the non-Soft Electron during cold weather. That's when I use the Soft plastic instead since it feels slightly better. Overall, a great disc for both putting and driving (for me up to around 100m straight with no turn nor fade). Coupling it up with the Discmania P3x I've got all my putter shots covered.

I was very excited to try out the Envy with all the hype behind it.  I both loved and hated it.  I'll start with the feel.  I like putting with beadless putters, so the Envy was perfect.  It felt a little deeper than the Wardens and Deputies, but pretty close to the same.  I wasn't a big fan of the soft plastic that came in our MVP vs. Axiom player pack, but it wasn't that big of an issue, mostly just preference.

Inside the circle is where I least liked this putter.  It seemed to rise up too much.  A lot of my putts were hitting the top of the basket or going over.  I putt with a good amount of spin, but not over the top, so this surprised me a bit.

This putter will not be kicking out my Wardens for sure, but I can see myself using this for outside the circle putts, approach shots, or off the tee of some shorter holes.  The putter goes pretty far with not a lot of effort.  It has the stability to throw on those longer shots which I loved about it.

I like the lower glide and it will not turn over when powered up so its reliable even in the wind, being a lower speed it doesn't get much right to left movement once i put it on a line it locks in which is why i love it and rely on it so much. I use the neutron mainly because its beat in a bit, but also have a more overstable proton that i can rely on to actually fade hard always, and just got a soft electron that i might try for putting. This is by far my most used disc, especially on shorter courses with many holes under 300' my beat neutron envy wants to hold any line i give it and laser straight for tight wooded tunnel shots. My favorite disc right now and i can use it in so many ways it has eliminated midrange discs from my bag for now.

Perhaps the best disc made by the MVP company - certainly the best with the Axiom label. It can be used for pretty much everything - putting, approach... even off the tee! It holds the line you put on it, is a point and shoot disc, and works pretty well in the various plastics and weights. I like it best for shorter holes off the tee, and laser approach shots.

Love the feel of the electron firm plastic, its firm but it isn't slippery like the MCpro plastic or the P line plastic of the innova and discmania companies. The actual putter itself is great for throwing and putting it flies similar to a little bit glidier rhyno and it still refuses to turn over in any wind conditions. I used to break these out only when it was windy when I'd putt with wizards but I switched to these full time cause I was simply making more putts with these. Would highly recommend them for anyone for putting or throwing.

This is a wonderful disc no matter what plastic you get in. I use Med Electron for putting in the circle and Plasma for driving. Plasma tends to lean more to the straight-stable side and will not fade as hard at the end. Soft Neutron tends to be the most OS of the plastics for this mold. There is a reason this is the most popular Axiom disc. Try it and you'll see :)

What can I say about the Envy that hasn't already been said?   It is, without a doubt, one of the finest discs ever created.  You can drive with it, putt with it, and it's a great upshot disc.  I always have one with me, and it gets used a lot.   Heck, I like the disc so much I have a stack of them at home!  If you haven't tried the Envy, you really owe it to yourself to give it a shot.

The Envy has hype behind it for a reason. This disc is an amazing off the tee putter. This disc does not flip over very easily and if it does, it fights back very easily with its stable flight path.

This is a perfect disc for your upshot needs. I use this disc more for upshots than I do as a putting putter. In electron plastic (firm, medium or soft), it's super grippy and feels great in the hand.

Naturally, the disc is overstable. It'll hold that left to right line very well. But, it also holds an anny line really well. This is one of those discs I reach for when I need to make a tricky shot through or around trees.

It's a perfect disc for a beginner because it acts as both a midrange disc and a putter. I would definitely recommend it to newer players.

You need an Envy. The Envy has a relatively shallow rim and very rounded wing profile making it very comfortable in my hand for driving grips and exceptionally easy to set up for my putting grip, forehand grip was a bit wonky but workable if you really need to. My Envy is 175g and in the Neutron soft plastic which... I don't know if soft accurately describes, it has some flexibility to it but it really doesn't give much in the hands. Because it is a premium blend i feel that might be the root cause. I also have tested a Electron Firm which is extremely tacky and has virtually no flex to it.

The Envy is every bit as stable as indicated this disc has a strong but progressive finish to it which makes it great for driving. The Envy on hyzer reliably controls distance and unless you are going all out is probably not the shot you will need this disc for. On a flat release this disc has excellent resistance to turn and will always hook up at the end. I was able to launch this thing pretty much shot for shot with my Skygod P2. On an Anhyzer line this disc flexes out nicely holding that line for a bit but always fading back reliably, with a nose up anhyzer release you can make this disc "helicopter" down in what looks like slow motion. The Envy's bread and butter seems to be shorter shots off the tee or longer approaches from ranges of 100-150ft away and I found myself able to drop this disc pretty close to the basket as the glide on this disc doesn't seem to let it get carried away.

When it comes to Putting I much prefer the electron plastic for the envy as it is not quite as stable. The Envy's shape fits my grip and spin putt pretty much perfectly and as a result has given me quite a bit of confidence. Outside the circle the envy will require quite a bit of spin and power to keep it on line to the basket and as a result I still stick to something a little bit straighter for those putts but inside the circle as I mentioned this disc is point and shoot.

As far as what wind conditions favor it I would say the Envy will maintain its composure in headwinds both driving and putting. That reliable fade and mild glide really go to work keeping this disc under control. Like most of the MVP family of plastics the tailwind performance leaves a little to be desired but ultimately should work fine.

Beginners may want to look into this disc for its wind fighting capabilities in the driving department. As a Putting putter if it feels comfortable in the hand maybe go for it but I would say it probably isn't the first putter I would steer towards a beginner due to its strong finish.

Overall the Envy really impressed me I know this disc gets talked up quite a bit but I find myself agreeing with all the sentiments I am hearing. I think a stable putter like this should be something everyone should have in their bag and the Envy is honestly one of the best candidates I have thrown to date due to its comfortable profile and fit. 5/5 stars this disc is nothing short of amazing.

I’ll admit, I purchased my first Envy due to online feedback and how great it looked in plasma at the local shop. The hype online was spot on though.

OS enough to fade in well on a low powered approach, but dead straight when given some power, it soon became my go-to for drives off the tee. Replacing my Aviar3 very quickly.

I can’t emphasis how amazing this disc is for flick approaches.

If you are looking for a disc for upshots, get this one. I thought should be throwing midranges for shots like this then I tried throwing this disc. It just feels natural. I throw this disc for anything that I feel like a midrange would be too skippy or when you need less glide. By far my favorite throwing putter because it instills the confidence to throw right for the basket on short holes, knowing if I blow by it at chain height its not going to skip 60 foot past the basket and leave me with something I could only dream to putt. I do not use this disc for putting I use something far less stable, a RFF Wizard. This disc is the perfect amount of stability for driving, you wont flip it over (if you have an average arm) but you aren't afraid that it will hyzer out and not give you the distance you were looking for.

My absolute favorite driving putter! This disc can handle all of your power and still give you a nice fade at the end of the flight. I use this disc for slight hyzer approach shots straight tunnels and shots where I want minimal slide or skip after the shot. This disc will sit where ever it lands, and if you where to hit a tree and get an unfortunate bounce this disc will have minimal role-away as the soft plastic will absorb a lot of the impact and instead of bouncing off it will just sit down.

Great disc one of the best MVP/Axiom discs available.

I have said it before and I will say it again, if you have never tried a MVP/Axiom putter you are missing out! Give this disc a chance!

Oh boy, this is the best driving putter I've used. I've thrown Wizard, Judge, Aviary, Aviar3, etc but the Proton Envy is the one. It's closer to a speed 3 IMO and has great glide. It is high speed stable and has a great fade. I can rip it and it flies straight and fades at low speeds. I recommend this as a driving putter but not as a putting putter but it drives like crazy!!

The Axiom Envy excels when thrown with high velocity down fairways. My favorite attribute of the Envy is it's tendency to "fall" out of the sky without any amount of significant turn or any fade at the end of it's flight. I am able to put maximum power into a flat, straight shot and this disc won't deviate in it's flight path until it runs out of speed and drops straight to the ground. This makes it a very accurate point-and-shoot option in your bag because you don't need to account for any left or right movement when planning your shot down a fairway. The less variables you have to deal with the better.

With power, the Envy will hold the line you put it on. a hyzer will stay on a hyzer line. An anhyzer will stay on an anhyzer line and slowly pan out to flat if you give it enough air space.

When thrown with low power, it can be good option for a short overstable approach shot if you don't want something that will immediately act like a meat hook. When thrown with touch, the Envy can help you push straight through skinny, tight fairways while maintaining a predictable finish. Just make sure not to roll your wrist over or because it doesn't have the stability to account for it.

I bag three Envy plastics. I find the plasma version to be the straightest and most underrated option. The above paragraphs describe the plasma plastic most accurately. If you are looking for a more stable option, go with the neutron plastic. It will give you more of a fading finish to the flight rather than dropping straight to the ground. If you are looking for an understable James Conrad-esque option, go with the electron plastic. The electron plastic beats in quickly and will allow you to shape turnover shots that will make your friends call you the second coming of disc golf jesus.

I searched for quite a while for the perfect throwing putter. I tried Wizards then switched to beadless putters like the Warden and the Opto Pure. None of them quite did what I wanted--they didn't have the feel. And then I found the Envy. The Envy is just shallow enough that it fits more comfortably in the hand than other putters. It also has a nice rounded edge which tapers to a flat-ish top. It's a great design which translates to a flight pattern which is versatile and consistent. The Firm Electron plastic is grippy and beats in pretty quickly to being a touch understable, maybe a 3/3/-1/2.

I also have the Eclipse plastic which is more stable yet maintains the nice grip. I highly recommend pairing an Eclipse with the Firm Electron. I also have a Neutron plastic Envy. In my opinion, the Neutron isn't as nice as the Eclipse. It has a very nice stability (maybe even more overstable than the Eclipse), but I find it to be a bit too slippery to grip (and watch out if it gets wet).

In general, I recommend the Envy to every player. It's a great throwing putter, and I don't think I could find one that's better.

One word to describe this disc -- "versatile". The best approach disc and throwing putter in the game. I love using this disc for approaches between 50-230ft. Although you can get good turnover lines with it, it won't dump right. It always maintains a bit of fight and won't turn over on you when thrown off the tee with hyzer.

My Eclipse 2.0 Envy is a very useful, overstable approach disc. I primarily use it for putter tee shots in the wind as well as the occasional putt. It flies remarkably straight and fades reliably at the end of its flight. I don't ever fear turning this disc over, which really allows me to put some power on it. When I first picked up an Envy, I really enjoyed the feel of the rim in my hand. I'd say that the rim is comparable to a zone due to its shallow nature, which feels a lot better in my hand whenever I put any kind of power on the disc.

The Eclipse 2.0 plastic is unrivaled by any brand that I have seen. The glow is incredibly bright once activated by a UV light, and it lasts for a crazily long time. You'll have no issues finding this disc while playing night golf.

Overall, this disc is very solid. I use it for touchy approach shots that require some shaping, and it is very fun to throw off of the tee. I also enjoy practicing at night with it due to its excellent glow. They're hard to find in premium plastics, but it's worth looking for.

I have a made conscientious effort to leave less 5 star reviews because I was overrating discs.

That's not the case today as I can't give the Axiom Envy anything other than a 5 star review.

The Envy might be the best disc in disc golf. It's an extremely reliable putter that can handle a lot of power without turning over. You can also cycle them with premium and baseline plastics, allowing you to cover the full spread of stabilities. I currently throw an Eclipse Envy and multiple seasoned Electron based Envies for neutral to understable shots. I could go on and on about the Envy, but you can just read the countless 5 star reviews on here and realize one thing: The Envy is a special disc and if you don't throw one - you probably should start.

TLDR: The best overall straight driving putter on the market. Different plastics different stabilities. Feels incredible in the hand for most (all?) hand sizes both FH and BH. Even if you don't bag- it's super fun to throw.

Feel: Flat top with smooth, curvy edges. The depth is fantastic, not too deep or shallow. The inner rim is angled outwards SLIGHTLY. Just enough to help with a smooth release, and smooth release it does. I can't overstate how good it feels in hand for any grip type. It's easily in my top 3 "best feeling molds" of all time.

Flight: For the premium plastics, you can go full send and they will fly true to the flight numbers. For the electron plastics, it will become a disc that can hyzer flip a bit to eventually be a slow turn over disc that finishes right (RHBH). I think it's a bit faster than a 3 speed, 3.5 or 4 would be a bit more accurate I think. It's such a straight flyer that you can put it on any line successfully. 10/10 flight.

This one is easy to recommend. All axiom/mvp plastic feels great to me. The envy in my bag is plasma, a version of neutron. Premium and baseline plastics from axiom/mvp are amazing no matter which variant you go with.

The moment I realized I was in love with the envy, I was standing on the Teebox watching a drive I knew I had"shanked"And was convinced was headed straight for the woods to the right of the basket on hole number eight at Kenwood trails disc golfand was convinced was headed straight for the woods to the right of the basket on hole number eight at Kenwood trails disc golf course in Minnesota. But then something magical happened. The disc, took all the torque I gave it, but stayed true to my flat release and nearly aced the hole.As I watched it sale at chain height 1 foot to the right of the basket, I realize this disco something special! Yes. This was before the incredible performance at 2021 worlds. Yes, I was very proud that I let all my crazy MVP friends talk me into buying one before it was "cool".And yes, it's still in my bag. I doubt it will ever come out, except to be thrown when I need it on a clutch shot.

One thing I will say about the envy, is that this is a truly versatile disc. One of my good friends, has literally seven envies in his bag. I thought he was absolutely out of his mind, but now I understand the hype. A brand new plasma envy for straight to over stable flight. And t an electron envy beat in so far that it will turn over and flip right with very little torque, and everything in between. I was so busy out there trying every disk on the market, when he had already figured it out. Whether you're 500 rated, or 1100 rated,  t the NV has a place in your bag. My one recommendation, is that you buy several. You're gonna be glad you did.

This is a great putter. The Envy (electron soft) has a great grip and along with the low profile of the disc makes a very reliable straight putter. It has just enough fade but really carries when outside of the circle without having to push it hard. I'm transitioning over to the lower profile putters as I prefer the lower profile for approach shots or off the tee. The Envy fits right along with my Shaman (I use primarily for long approach shots or off the tee) and a zone for those that need some stronger fade. The envy is my new favorite putter.

The Envy was famous before Conrad, but now it has blown up even more. This is one of the most versatile throwing putters on the market. It's shallow enough for a power grip, stable enough to handle power, and made in enough plastics to allow for different shot shapes. I use a Soft Electron Envy

Bottom Line Up Front: The hype is justified. Great balance of stability, glide, and fade. Comes off the hand clean for putting or driving.

This disc has the same basic flight ratings as a lot of other putters. I feel like it holds the straight flight longer with the appropriate spin while not veering right. It comes in all of the Axiom/MVP plastic types. This disc in premium plastic also makes for a fantastic throwing putter (the shot heard round the world). For a soft plastic it holds up very well, and has good grip. The plate is softer, while the rim is firmer but still tacky. If you get an Envy, the Proxy is a great sidekick.

Similar Discs: Any of the P2s, Luna, Mercy type discs. Overmold does make it a little different though.

I love the Envy as my throwing putter. Cosmic Electron beats in pretty quickly and has been a great hyzer flip disc. The Eclipse 2.0 makes the Envy a bit more stable for the extra confidence that it wont turn over. It's my go-to neutral approach disc, and can hold any line you put it on. It feels extremely comfortable in the hand, as the disc is a shallow beadless putter. I highly recommend to anyone who want to dial in their form.

I love the Envy in glow plastic. The Eclipse 2.0 makes the Envy a bit more stable in my opinion, and gets the disc to fly "truer" to the manufacturer's flight numbers. It's my go-to neutral approach disc, will hold a straight line and a hyzer under 200 feet. It feels comfortable in the hand, as the disc is not very deep and there is no bead. MVP has been showing some very pretty swirly overmolds to accent the glow discs. I highly recommend to new players and experienced players alike!

The plasma Envy is my absolute favorite throwing putter. I use it from 200-290ft when I need a dead straight shot that won't turnover and will fade on shorter flights or land flat and straight on longer ones. This isn't to say the envy isn't great in all its plastics, it is. But plasma feels great in my hand and releases smoothly every time. The envy can take a lot of power and torque but shines when thrown smoothly. Its a workhorse that I don't think will ever leave my bag.

This disc is amazing. I'm probably like many other players, but I decided to try out the envy after James Conrad's "The Shot" from the 2021 Worlds. This disc just like all other MVP discs has an amazing feel with the plastic. It's easy to grip and has a comfortable release. For me, the disc flies exactly like a slower buzzz. The disc is a speed 3 but can hold a lot of torque and hold pretty much any line. Straight shots, hyzers, and even anhyzer lines surprisingly well with the disc being overstable. Definitely give it a try for a throwing putter for both drives and uo shots.

I love this disc! I throw it, I Approach with it, and i putt with it from time to time. Seems like a very great disc to me or for anyone. Feels good in hand because it is not too deep or too shallow. All the different plastics it comes in helps the stability differences in a bag as well!

I first started throwing the envy at the beginning of this year when looking for a new driving putter. It has quickly become my go to disc for straight shots, hyzer shots and almost all of my approaches and short drives. This disc is laser straight when thrown even at high levels of power/speed/spin. I had trouble pushing my putters beyond 300 feet before this year, but the Envy just seems to go fast and glide forever. I would almost say it is like a buzzz in a putter mold. The feel is great, the plastic is tough and stiff but not slick. I couldn't be happier having this as my throwing putter. I have not putted with it too much as I prefer a bead for putting however it flies true and if you like the feel it will put really well for you I'm sure.

If you want a fantastic approach disc, grab and Envy. I use this disc as an in-between for my putter and midrange. It will lay up nicely and not bounce or roll. I've used many other approach discs that bounce and roll; this one does not.  It's true to the numbers and is also a solid sidearm/forehand approach disc.

I haven't used this disc a ton yet, but I do love how it feels. With the disc showing a -1 turn, I was expecting it to be a bit more understable than it is. It goes straight and fades much more than I expected. However, now that I understand how it flies, I think I'll make good use of this disc in the woods when I need touch and control. I LOVE how almost all MVP and Axiom discs feel in the hand, as I absolutely love flat-topped discs and shallow discs, and that's pretty much all they make!

The biggest downside I have found is that Axiom and MVP are way less durable than other manufacturers from my experience.

I never understood the "throwing putter" phrase until the Envy arrived in the mail and I started throwing it. In Electron Soft it's understable right out of the box and will turn over quite gently with a fan grip off the tee. A little nose up and about 60% power backhand is my go-to tunnel shot, usually ends up a bit short but it's the only disc I can throw straight for 100% of the flight.

I would like to try the other plastics because Electron Soft does not jive with my forehand, but the shallow rim is perfect for backhands. I putt with the deeper Aviar but find the nice shallow Envy very comfortable. I tried using it as my putting putter exclusively but never got the same reliable results as with the Aviar, but that's probably just my muscle memory.

The envy is my all time favorite disc and easily the best throwing putter I've ever used. It has so much versatility. I currently bag three with a fourth one that's trying to sneak in. The neutron envy is the perfect amount of overstable that it will be reliable and you always know where it's going to land, but it never feels like it's going to dump out. Electron soft envies beat in to super understable which makes it perfect for touch upshots and hyzer flips. My electron firm envy is laser straight. I can put about 60 percent power and it will have no turn or fade.  I've even messed around with eclipse envies which are perfectly in between neutron and my electron firm.

If you are ever looking for a new throwing putter please do yourself a favor and pick up an envy. It's the most comfortable and versatile disc in the game. Much like me you'll approach every single tee and ask yourself "Can I throw my envy here?" It gave me so much confidence that I never had with a slow disc before.

Wish I would have tried an Envy sooner. Rim depth reminds me of the A series from Prodigy. Flat releases FH & BH flies straight with a dependable fade at the finish. BH anhyzer it will hold the line for a bit then fight out and hyzer out at the end. FH with too much torque it will ride the anhyzer to the ground. With some touch it will shape nicely finishing hyzer. BH & FH Hyzer it flips up & glides straight. After about 5 throws it made the bag as a hyzer flip approach disc. Don't care for it too much for actual putter from 30ish or less feet, but its an excellent approach disc.

I Can't believe I didn't try the envy sooner! I carry the envy in 3 different plastics. I putt with electron soft and throw cosmic electron medium and cosmic neutron.

Plastics:
Electron soft feels so good for putting  it is very gummy and loves to grab chains. It fits perfect in my hand. If you choose to throw it the break in is very fast and it will bend and waffle as it hits trees  I personally don't like the way this feels in my hand so I only use electron soft for putting.

Cosmic Electron Medium is my go to turnover putter. This really likes to turnover and go right but has enough stability that it will just drift right rather than truly turn when thrown flat. It is so fun to shape this through tight fairways.

Cosmic Neutron is my favorite overstable throwing putter. It can handle my full power throw without turning over. It will fly straight with a gentle fade. It is also a great disc for forehand touch shots.

Overall I feel like the envy has changed my game. It is so versatile. I throw it off the tee for anything 300 and in. I also use jt for all my approach shots both forehand and backhand.

In conclusion, you really need to try this disc.

(Important note: I live and play at 2,700 ft elevation.)

The Envy is the newest disc in my bag, and has quickly turned into my favorite putter to throw off the tee. It flies pretty overstable, so that is great for more experienced players because of the consistency in the flight and finish. The Neutron plastic is MVP/Axiom/Streamline's answer to Innova's Star or Discraft's ESP, and it is fantastic for anything off the tee. I haven't used it for regular putting, although my personal preference is to use something like Electron for putting. The look of this disc is what really caught my eye, and I believe it to be the most aesthetically pleasing disc in my bag. The overmold on the rim is a great feature, as it allows for a comfortable and solid grip regardless of what plastic you choose for the Envy. If you could only have one putter to throw off the tee exclusively, I think you would be hard pressed to find a better choice than the Axiom Envy. The 3,3,0,2 numbers are very true, and this might be my favorite disc for backhand tee shots and approaches.

This putter is great. It has a pretty straight flight path and can travel a good long distance before a slight fade. Great for hot summer days as the plastic tends to become a little more flexible. This makes it nice for those awkward standing putts.

Owned in Electron Soft, Electron, and Proton.

Electron Soft and Electron: used for cold and mild weather putting, respectively. I enjoy these for putting, but have started to transition to Lat 64 Pures due to a slight preference in hand feel and a bit more ease in keeping the line I want in far (C2) putting situations. However, these Electrons will still come out from time to time if I need a little more overstability.

Proton: used for short drives off the tee and some upshots. It's an outstanding, incredibly straight, and reliable throwing putter. The Proton Envy should be in the bag for a long time.

Very beginner friendly, and I'm enjoying them even more as I gain experience. Give them a try; you won't be disappointed!

This disc is an amazing addition to my bag. It feels like a midrange in the hand, which I find delightful. Unlike many other putters, the cosmic neutron version of the putter is reliably over stable. It keeps a very straight flight with a reliable fade. This has become my main throwing putter, it is very accurate within 225 feet for me. I am usually one to rely heavily on my midrange disc, but since I've started using this, most of my mids stay in the bag.

I trust this disc more than anything else in my bag. I keep a Neutron plastic Envy in my bag for wooded tunnel shots that need a reliable hyzer flip and I putt with the Electron Firm. I love having a consistent feel in the hand both off the tee and in the circle. The electron soft plastic comes in handy when throwing upshots that need to stick to the ground where they hit. One of my favorite discs ever. I use a 173g Electron Medium for my putting, a 171g Proton for straight driving with reliable fade, and a 171g electron medium for hyzer flip shots.

If you like MVP discs then you have to give these a try. I throw these around 300 ft so they absolutely bomb. (My max distance with a driver is around 425ft for reference)

They feel great in my hand for putting but it's all preference.

This is THE putter. I bought one as my first putter. I've tried other putters, from big name, really popular putters, to small time "it was in the discount bin" putters, all types. Nothing - and I mean NOTHING - performs like my envy. I use my hard electron envy for practically every putt that I take, as well as for maneuverability in heavily wooded areas. Out of my entire bag, that disc has the most miles on it, by far. Short wooded hole? That's the only disc that I use for the entire hole. You know that a disc is good when someone's first reaction to you losing one in a tree is "oh, thank god," until you pull a backup one out of your bag. It's also incredibly durable. I've launched this thing into tree trunks and rocks on a few occasions, with very little to show for it.

When I first got this disc, I truly had no idea just how often I would find myself reaching for it. It has become my go to approach disc if I just need that simple placement shot onto the green. And because it's become integral to my game, the Cosmic Electron Soft plastic is becoming nicely worn and the disc seems to have become even deadlier in its accuracy. My favorite feature of the disc its shallow rim, which makes going between backhand and forehand fairly seamless.

I believe that this is the holy grail for straight flying driving putters with a touch of fade at the end.

The reason that I got this disc was because I love how a fresh Luna drives. But the only plastic I can get them in beats in so quick and they are so touchy when it comes to torque that I was having trouble getting consistent drives with them.

I really wanted a crystal Luna thinking that would be the answer, but good luck finding one of those. So I was on a hunt to find the driving putter of my dreams that could take torque without turning over and was durable enough to beat in straight and not get understable.

I tried a Zone and a Warden but they just didn't fit the bill. When I ready about the Envy I thought it might be the one. And after 1 round with it I can say that it is exactly what I was looking for. It is an amazing straight flying, driving putter, that can hold torque and have the slightest bit of fade at the end.

I am excited to play with this disc and never see it coming out of my bag.

My Envy electron-soft is stamped 3/3/-1/2 which I feel is pretty accurate. Its flight characteristics are great for making approach shots. It allows you to be very versatile in your throws and the disc will respond in kind. I highly recommend putting in the practice to play with all the shapes, angles, and touch shots. Once you put in the work, then it will pay off when you need that special line in your match.

I chose the electron-soft because that’s my preference for grip. But if you plan to take it into the woods, then I recommend going with a more durable plastic.

I bought the Envy because I heard from a lot of people that this is the best throwing putter in the game of disc golf. The plastic I bought it in was Electron Firm and Electron Soft at 174g. The Electron Firm Envy is slightly more overstable than an Envy in the Electron Soft, but they both handle a lot of torque, I can throw my hardest (which max length with the Envy is about 300ft) it still holds an angle you put it on and tries to stand up the entire time, so it just glides so long. It is my go to approach disc on the backhand and I have yet to try it forehand since I have a Westside Harp and is definitely one of my favorite discs and has introduced me to the putter lineup of Gyro and Streamline.

I don't give 5 stars lightly, but I think it's entirely possible the Envy is the best throwing putter of all time. Laser beams out to 300ft with minimal turn and a very light late fade, and if you force it on a line it can hold it pretty well both hyzer and anhyzer.

I do find it interesting that it doesn't fade hard even on a steep angle. It hold the line and fades along it, but never kicks into a big low speed fade.

the disc takes power very well, but does not punish a lack of power. I even played catch with some non disc golfer friends with it and they were able to coax a straight flight out in the low 100ft range. Though it doesn't have hardly any turn I think most players could use one quite easily.

The new Eclipse plastic glows great and is super easy to find in the dark!

So I put with electron entropy's for the stability but go a cosmic electron Envy in a batch and gave it a shot. I found it was similar in max-distance of putts, similar flight on putting and was fairly stable for putting. I did find I preferred the entropy's still as they are a more shallow disc as I prefer on a disc. The one advantage to the Envy for putting was that it allowed me to hold the anhyzer better for throwing around trees and objects.

Best throwing putter you can get. If you rip it on hyzer it flies with a subtle turn but fairly straight, and at medium power its perfect for laser shots around 100 ft. Ground play is minimum so it makes for a great soft landing and the perfect approach disc.

The Envy is where I've finally settled on a putter. I've tried a few molds out but nothing really stuck (in the chains and in my bag) like this one.

For putters, I think it's really all about feel. What gives you confidence when you hold it in your hand and lets you focus on form and your shot? For me, it's the Envy. My hands aren't huge, but they're not small either. The Electron plastic is what I've found to enjoy so far, but it can make a big difference. I'd say that the Envy is absolutely worth your consideration. I've hit putts longer than before and I have to admit that some of the credit belongs to this disc. I can't speak to how it throws of the tee, but on the green towards the basket it just feels right. I'm also a primarily push putter - so if you've got a different style, that's something to consider.

All in all, highly recommend you give the Envy a shot (or putt :D)

As an experienced player I have never found a disc that flies so straight. Now keep in mind this is in plasma plastic, it would be different if you threw an envy in proton plastic, as it would be more overstable. Although I can say in plasma.. the envy is a very straight flying disc. once it's beat in a little bit I figure it only flies straighter. My beat and plasma will fly about 400ft straight, it'll go slightly to the right for about 80% of its flight and then fade back into the lines release point, making it a super straight disc. I figure once it gets beat in quite a bit the plasma plastic will eventually make the Envy a bit under stable, but for having one for two years as a frequent player, I have yet to have this problem. I love the feel of this disc, it's very slim compared to others. I feel it gives quite a bit more glide than stated since I can throw it straight, 3 feet off the ground, and it'll fly forever. I highly recommend this in your bag, you won't regret it. I bought it strictly to use as a utility but after throwing it, it's a very well used disc in my bag for low shots, controlled hyzers, and just overall distance for long and controlled approaches. since I've had this disc I've barely rarely used my mid ranges, except for my eMac truth and buzzz.

For the longest time my putter was a Nova. However, last year when I won one of these at a local tourney I fell in love. I have thicker hands and the Envy fits perfectly for my putting grip. (I really like the feel and grippiness of the Cosmic Electron Firm plastic)

I never considered myself a decent putter, but now with the envy, I think I can become one.

Since my 1st one I have bought 3 more (Several for my tourny bag and 2 for my grab and go bag at work).

Fantastic throwing putter, you'll be surprised by how far you can get this out. It holds up to power extremely well and exhibits surprising glide. The rim is not too deep so you can really get a solid grip on it while throwing. Really great throwing putter thus far. The cosmic electron plastic looks amazing and feels great in the hand too. It has a great flight as a slightly overstable putter brand new and slowly beats in to a straight flying approach disc. This is the first putter that I feel completely comfortable with off the tee and for anything under 200 feet.

The Envy in cosmic electron soft plastic is my go-to putting putter. I really like the profile of this disc for my putting style--mostly push putts--as it fits in my hand perfectly without feeling too thick in my hands. Every time I putt the release is clean, and I do not have to worry about the disc catching like I would if the disc was a thicker profile with a deeper rim. The cosmic electron soft plastic is very grippy in my hands and in the chains. It is great for putting.

Thrown flat off the tee and as an approach putter, this disc flies straight with a little turn and fade. I have thrown it for short approach shots that require a little touch and it generally holds the line on which I put it. The speed and glide of the Envy make it great for shots within 200 feet that need to touch down with little to no skip. (Note, however, that in the soft plastic, the Envy will become quite understable fairly quickly, requiring good power control on the player's part. This also allows for technical hyzer-flip shots depending on the player's skill level).

Overall, the Envy is a great putter that will work well for all skill levels and for various situations. For putting and approaching, this disc is worth a try.

As a driving putter, I have found this one does not have enough glide. Imagine this would be good into the wind but have not had the opportunity yet.

As a putter, I like it. I use it in the wind and it holds the line well.

All around great utility disc.

I personally consider the the Envy a slower Buzzz. I feel confident using this disc from the tee from 250 ft. Or less. It won't turn over like alot of other putters will. This disc recently produced my first ace as well on a 205 foot hole! If your looking for a putt and APPROACH disc you can't go wrong trying the Envy.

New go to putter, electron soft feels amazing to putt with if you like the soft rubbery kind of disc. Very low profile, flat putter which was something I didn't realize I liked until holding this disc in my hand. Fair warning the super soft plastic gets scratched and beat up super easily, so if you're looking to throw for anything other than close putts I recommend a tougher plastic.

I have a set of 5 electron soft envies. 1 of them i bag but also use with 4 others for putting practice. This has been my most consistent putter in my 10 years of playing disc golf and I will probably always bag at least one for as long as they make them or as long as i play. I also have two soft neutrons, one well seasoned and the other fairly new. I use the newer one for straighter stable shots and the seasoned one if i need a little bit of a flip or anhyzer shot. If i could only take one disc to a course with me, the envy would be it.

This Envy in Eclipse plastic max weight is my go to throwing putter and approach putter. It is perfect for backhand up shots with a reliable fade and for anything 150 and shorter I love for forehands because it's not as over stable but stays very straight when not a lot of power needs to be put to it. It will turn over on forehand with power but has a good flex line with a smooth shot. It will fly quite a bit straight on back hands before finishing strong but can be put on any line and will hold pretty well. It is predictable in the wind as well and does a good job of holding up to a headwind. It feels great and shines well too.  Not one thing I can say negative about this disc!

The Envy is considered one of the best, if not the best, driving putters in disc golf. It reliably provides a consistent flight. It you throw it reasonably well it will neither stray to right (assuming your right-handed) and dump nor will it dump hard to the left. It is straight with a predictable forward fade. What is truly nice is that it merely needs to be thrown reasonably well. Other driving putters seem to need to be highly finessed to get the flight you want out of them.

The Plasma Envy I have looks good. Maybe that is important to you, maybe not. It costs more than other companies discs, but you will also pay more for their premium versions too. I simply see it as an acceptable price for a disc that delivers in performance and looks good out on the course.

My favorite disc for under 200 ft.  The Envy will hardly ever turn, even when thrown 300 ft.  It will glide along any line at high speed with little regard to the wind.  It has an uncanny ability to avoid lift in a headwind when released anywhere close to flat.  The Envy tends to drop quickly once it begins to fade.  It provides excellent distance control for landing within your putting circle in any weather.  It has a shallow rim and a micro bead that provides a very clean release for BH and FH in my experience.  I own 3 Plasma Envys, and one of each of the other 3 plastics the Envy is produced in.  My main plasma envy has been my go-to approach disc for 200+ rounds, and it flies nearly identical to the brand new one I bought in the same weight and plastic.  The flight pattern is comparable to the MVP Matrix but at a much lower speed.  Some have called it a Gyro Harp, but I find harps are more overstable than the Envy.  When compared to a Gateway Wizard it has considerably less glide, a touch more stability and fade.   I prefer the Wizard within the circle in perfect conditions, but the envy is the best putter for windy days that I've come across.  An amazing disc that I will continue to carry in every bag for years.

Plasma :  Fantastic grip.  A slightly soft feel in hand while being firm enough to maintain high speed stability.  Noticeably stiffer than Soft Neutron yet softer than the others.  A bit more glide than Proton/Neutron.

Proton : Slightly more fade than other plastics.  The feel is slick and can be tough to throw consistently when it's not dry.  The most durable plastic, but the durability of Plasma and Neutron are quite impressive as well.   Similar to Champion or Elite Z.

Neutron :  Firmer than Plasma yet softer than Proton.  Provides the same glide as Proton.

Soft Neutron  Very flexible plate.  Once you throw it beyond 100 ft it will turn over while the other plastics do not.  I would rate the turn of Soft Neutron at -0.5.  The turn adds glide, but reduces reliability.  The added flex absorbs a lot of energy to help it stop nearby on impact.  I usually only reach for it under 100 ft through trees where avoiding a ricochet down a big hill or into water hazard is a priority.  I often don't need it at all, but it can save a stroke once in a while.

Don't let a Soft Neutron be the only Envy you own if you buy one.  I'd recommend Plasma, but Proton and Neutron each hold their own.

All I have to say about this putter is that it is awesome. That being said I love it for regular putting. I love it for approach shots and I love it for driving  holes around 200 ft this thing will hold any line you want to throw it on. If feels great in the hand it has a flat profile and not a very deep rim. If your looking for a work horse putter/mid range disc I highly recommend this disc

Profile: Low to moderate depth, beadless, rounded rim

Flight: Flies straight with a consistent touch of fade at the end.  This is the best approach disc I've ever used for those straight touch shots.  It holds whatever line you throw it on.

Comparison: Flies just like the Proxy but with a touch more fade.  Judge is similar except the Judge has more fade at the end

Final thoughts: I like it's shallow (shallow in comparison to most putters) rim, feels very comfortable in the hand.  This is one of my favorite discs.

I absolutely love this disk. I have not thrown many putters, but this is by far my favorite right now. I feel great in my hand when putting, which boosts my confidence. I seems to go exactly where I release it. My missed putts are defiantly no the discs fault. The first time i tried driving with it, it exceeded my expectations. It when where i wanted it to go. The best thing about the disc is the feel. it has nice grippyness (made up word?) and fits my hand size well.

THE BEST DRIVING PUTTER MADE, PERIOD!  I love this disc.  You could almost call it a mid off the tee.  Just goes where you want it to on a line.  Can handle power and will not flip.  Nice forward fade at the end.  Putting for me is all about feel and if you are going to use this as a putter go ahead and do yourself a favor and get it in Soft Neutron plastic.  I will tell you I hardly ever use this to putt, but that is not because it can't do the job.  I just happen to live in St. Louis and all the best putting putters are made by Gateway Disc Sports.  Do yourself a favor and grab this disc and dump your mids.

The Envy is the disc that you have probably been looking for.

Take the resistance to turn that you have loved in a Harp or Scale, and then give it a glidy finish without hardly any fade. You can crank on it as hard as you want an wont get hardly any turn, and the finish hits and sticks great with the Neutron Soft plastic.

I'm a fan of the grip, and my wife loves it as well because it just goes where you point it.

It's a bit fast for a putter and at distance you can bomb it, I've hit near 350 with it several times. Though at 275 it's pinpoint acurate.

I've putted well with it, but doe to it's speed I've gotten more chain outs than with it's little brother the Atom.

Soft Neutron 173g. I like this disc in neutron, but I really do not like it in soft neutron. It flies straight, but isn't glidey and is very inconsistent how it fades. Also, it does not stand up to wind at well at all like it does in normal neutron plastic. When I see the name Envy, I expect there to be stability and it just isn't there on this disc. Mentally that wasn't something I could get over. I feel the pure, colt, or the judge can do everything this disc in soft neutron does, just better.

Great putter.  I am an intermediate player who has tried a handful of putters and this putter is my favorite.  I own two Neutron Envy's (one 164g and the other 173g). I prefer a putter with more shallow rim as I tend to grip lock deeper rim putters on occasion.  For me, when thrown properly I can get this putter out to about 240-250' on a good throw.  On a proper throw I get the intended flight path listed in the flight chart.  If thrown lower on a line drive the fade is even less. Works great as a putter too but I prefer the Proxy due to less fade.

The Axiom Proxy is the perfect complement to this Envy which for me is a very straight flying Envy with almost no fade. Both discs look and feel very similar which makes transitioning from one disc to the other pretty simple.

Highly recommended.

The Envy is popular for a reason.  It's one of the best driving putters and approach putters made.  I don't putt with it--it doesn't feel right in my hand for putting duties, but for upshots that need a little stability, the Envy is the class of the field.  Whenever I need more fade on approach, I throw a Harp, but for lines that call for straight-to-gentle-fade, it's the Envy.  It's not super glidy, but that only gives you confidence to attack the basket.  I tried it against a Discmania P2, another popular approach disc, but the flat profile of the Envy suited my grip and gave me more confidence in my throws.  The most similar putter to the Envy that I've thrown is the Vibram Ridge.  Typically, I bag my Envy whenever it's dry, but replace it with the Ridge on rainy days (great grip on the Ridge!).

If you ask me a putter is all about how it feels in your hand and what will give you the confidence to have a solid throw. For me this is that disc. this a new beefier design it feels solid in the hand and I put my trust in it to reach the chains every time.

I have been looking for a solid driving putter for some time.  I had read reviews and searched around and decided to pick up an Envy.  I found a nice White-rim White-Core 174g Envy at my local store. I took it to a practice field got some test throws in and was initially impressed.  Then this weekend I was able to play 6 ....thats right, 6 rounds of disc golf. So this is speaking from that experience with the disc.
The Envy is faster and glidier than most putters, especially when thrown.  It has a slight turnover early, then rides very straight, and typically will have a small but significant fade to end it's flight.  The flight # I would give it would be 4/3.5/-0.5/1.5 .  It flys like a driver, feels like a putter, control like a midrange....its a do everything disc.  It can be thrown with a sliiiight hyzer release and it will stand up to flat, have a tiny turn, then straight like a dart coming to a fairly straight but hyzer finish.  The Envy can also be pushed on anhyzers quite easily.  If given a lot of torque it will turn.  If given an anhyzer angle it will hold for most if not all of the flight.  Since it has some stability it will flatten out, but if it's on the anhyzer it will hold and actually create a very long L-R fade.
When given a Hyzer this thing will hold a long/deep hyzer and can actually get more R>L 'cut over' than my more overstable discs.  All around, the Envy will go where you put it.  It can also be bombed quite a bit.   A friend and I decided to throw a 'funzie' on hole 18 of a course where its a long 550 ft shot.  The Envy went almost as far as my driver, talking 400ft.  The disc just bombs.  Plus side, it has range, down side....NEEDS touch if you're anywhere close to the basket, even at 60% it can glide past the basket, for that I prefer to use a Scale/Serpent to avoid extra glide.   Overall this is a unique versatile disc that will go where you want it.  Just have to throw it well.    Fun disc.  Short range go-to type spot.

*** Update: I have been using this disc more and really loving it.  When thrown on a drive (Normal fairly flat release with decent power/follow-through) It flies very similar to what a Buzzz flies like....straight, small turn, straight, soft hyzer finish.   I was able to park a couple holes with it, When I feel the Buzzz may have too much steam I can throw the envy and it settles down just a little earlier. This is a very good driving putter.  It flies like a slow midrange....but this thing still can bomb.  By far the most surprising new disc I've tried this year....I'd say my second would be the Discmania TD....great disc as well ;)

Got my 172g Neutron plastic Envy from Infinite Discs, with their usual stellar service.  My Envy is blue with a (bright) red overmold rim, looks really pleasing to the eye.  And the good news is that it flies even better!  I thought it would be good, but I was very pleasantly suprised at just how good the Envy did on the course for me.

I threw the Envy a few times off the tee.  They Envy gets very good distance, especially for the flight numbers posted.  It did not turn over on me on full-power throws.  On approach shots, the Evny has a consistent and reliable fade.  It's more stable/overstable than the Proxy (or the Proxy is more stable/understable than the Envy), but holds consistent lines.  I was surprised on a high anny/flex shot just how long it held the anny before flexing back as it came back to earth.

The Envy/Proxy combination will be an excellent one, and I look forward to using my Envy a lot more this season.

First disc from Axiom. Tried mostly because all the hype. Peer-pressure sucks. I got a pink/blue which is rad. My favorite colored disc ever. Didn't even consider color that important but this beacon of hot-neon pink and blue is never lost.... Best colors goes to Axiom. The disc was not so fun at first, but after it broke in a little (3 months) I started to like it a little more. Now a year later liking it even more. This disc is an investment, not a quick fix. Strong fade paired with a soft landing. Kinda weird grip though, a new-callus feel if you will.

As a driving putter, the Envy is a great slighly overstable disc.  As with all putters off the tee, it's very straight until the very end of the flight.  At the end, the fade is pretty small but always there.  I have thrown the Proton and the Soft Neutron, and the feel of the Soft Neutron can't be beaten.  I like my approach discs to stick when they land, and the Soft Neutron is likes to lay where it touches down, and is wonderfully tacky in the hand.  Thrown with a touch of anhyzer, it flattens out a ways into the flight and finishes pretty flat, if not with a tiny bit of fade.  It's a very versatile disc, and one that I recommend to others.  It has a ton of glide as well, which can be a blessing or a curse, as my recent games with tons of headwind have shown me.

As a putting putter, I like the feel but don't like the fade.  I prefer the "throw it straight at it" kind of putter, and the Envy isn't quite that.  You always have a little bit of fade to account for.  If you like that, the Envy could be a great putting putter.

A solid OS disc. Neutron 173G. The smaller profile of the rim make it feel much more like a mid than a putter. I prefer the Zone and the Suspect as my os throwing putters now, but I could definitely use my Neutron Envy to success. It is a fun disc to throw and can hold it's own as both an os putting putter and as a driving putter (where it excels). However, I do not enjoy using this disc for upshots. For some reason it is just not as consistent as it should be (probably user error), and as the zone and suspect are for me.

Got a softie last year when the first came out, was using it for putting at first, and it was delivering solid results. Fast forward to this season, I still have that in in the bag, but this time along with a proton. The Proton I've thrown 315 ft, and is considerably more stable, I use it for precise short drives, and it is awesome. If I dont wanna sail past my target or fade harder than the zones that I bag, the proton comes out.
The soft neutron its one of my favorite upshot discs, where I still need that dead straight flight and a nice fade. Easy to forehand as well and just goes straight with healthy fade. Now that its broken in pretty well, its almost dead straight with very minimal fade.

I've turned a few friends on to the envy, and they love it. Get one

Pros:
Consistent flight
Low Profile comfortable grip
Extreme versatility

Cons:

I bought my lime green Proton Envy on Ebay less than 2 months ago and it had a 174 gram sticker on the bottom. I played with it for a while and put it on a digital scale and it weighed in at a whopping 178.6 grams.

I use this disc for EVERY approach shot that I take under 250 ft. I enjoy playing a lot of wooded courses here in Michigan and this is the disc I reach for 90%+ of the time.

If I was being held at gunpoint and the person wanted all of the discs in my bag, I'd reach in it and pull out my overweight Envy and hand him the bag, explaining that if he wanted the disc in my hand he would have to murk me for it.

One of the best discs out there. I own one in Soft, Neutron and Proton. They all fly similar in similar weights. I use them for up and down shots so they get a ton of use and I would not have it any other way. If you are looking for a OS upshot putter this is the one. If you come from an ultimate background you will find the rim very friendly(though not completely lid like). It does not get mentioned as much for straight putting but I love them for it, very predictable in or outside of the circle. What are you waiting for, grab one!

An update to my post a couple months ago.

the envy is my guilty pleasure. I mean it really has cause me to remove half of my midranges. Which makes me feel bad almost but I can do really every shot I need to with this disc that's with in the 250' mark. When I throw it people's jaws drop when i tell them it was the envy putter, specially when they see me flick it for 200' baskets and park it right under neath. But even when going for 30-40 ft putts it is crazy Reliable.  Just aim a little to the right (RHBH) for the fade and it will drop right on in.

I truly can't recommend this disc enough to my friends. But after they see what I can do it with it they always want to go buy one.

*I really recommend people to learn how to flick approach with putters. It really opens up some new playing styles and can improve their game and the envy is a great disc for that. Just release it from a hyzer, don't try to kill and with some practice it will work beautifully.

First off,  I love Axiom discs. I have at least 6 of them. My favorites are the mid ranges Theory and Alias. After reading so many people praising the Soft Envy, I couldn't wait to try it. I've only had it a few weeks (174 gram Oreo) and have putted with it maybe 5-10 times so I haven't used it that much, but it's just not really working for me. I don't know if I'm not throwing it correctly or have just not used it enough to know, but I can't make putting shots very well with it. If there is any wind, it seems to overshoot the basket or turn so hard left that it glides away like a tomahawk. I can make those shots with my Wizard and even my Warden, but this disc throws more like my Alias than a putter for me. I have to throw it pretty hard and downward to keep it from overshooting the basket, and that makes me a little nervous because if I miss it, then it'll go far past the basket again. I couldn't find hardly any reviews about this putter before purchasing it because almost everyone reviewed it as an approach putter and all of the YouTube videos showed was approach shots. I'm a little baffled as to why people don't focus more on the putting aspects of a putter. I believe putting is the most essential part of the game. I'm looking into the Axiom Proxy right now. It's supposed to have a straighter shot so maybe it'll be a more controllable putter for me. Once again, I'm a beginner and these are only my particular experiences with this disc. With all of that said, the soft neutron plastic is amazing. It feels great and looks great.  Maybe with more practice,  I'll be able to control this disc better.

I ordered this disc off of Infinite Discs and got it in an awesome highlighter yellow proton plastic with a white rim. The looks on this disc are awesome. I got this disc to become my approach disc and driving putter. It has filled that spot perfectly. I have made 300' drives with this thing parking it underneath the basket. But where this disc really shines is in the flick approach. When I need a low lying shot of from a 50'-100' I can give the envy a nice flick and it will go where i want, sometimes over shooting the target.

The down side... The proton plastic i got this disc in is super slick and when throwing RHBH it will occasionally slip from my hand. But as the disc brakes in I'm sure that will begin to go away.

The Neutron hard and soft are my go to putters...The soft Envy is really great for drives and the hard Envy helps me make those clutch putts that everyone in my group talks about. They are both stable flyers with a reliable flight everytime.

SOFT NEUTRON IS THE BEST!

If you like soft stable putters, you will love the soft neutron Envy. This disc is great for everything, off the tee (very straight with a good fade) or even for putting. I have been using this disc for putting since it was released a few weeks ago and i must say, it is awesome. When i putt i release them with a slight anhyzer and they glide, flatten out and then fade at the end. I have always used stable putters, so thats why i like it. If you use understable putters for inside the circle, you might want to check out the MVP Anode or the Axiom Proxy(releases late 2014).

I have this disc paired with my Ion, and am alway reaching for it. Very predictable and makes for great approaches.

I don't use it inside the circle because it can get a bit slick when wet, but it's a fantastic driving putter (probably my favorite).  Whether you're throwing 30 feet or 300, it will fly lazer straight for you if you release it flat with a decent snap.  It even holds up to a decent headwind.  Kinda like the teebird of driving putters, in that it will fly straight at a large range of speeds and end with a slight predictable fade

This is my go-to putter. I love how it feels in my hand, especially compared to the older-style putters.

The Axiom Envy is a great driving putter. My 170g Neutron is perfectly flat and pretty overstable for a putter. It has a deep rim that allows me to curl my fingers under nicely for a nice power grip. Unlike the MVP Anode (which I love for approach shots and long putts), this disc won't turn over for me and is great for those shots that you want to throw with full power but not have go too far. It's a nice consistent disc for my backhand throws. I almost had some decent sidearm drives with the Envy, but the rim depth of this one is a little too deep for me to get a clean flick release.

When it comes to putting, this isn't a bad disc, but isn't my first choice for a putter. The super stiff neutron plastic gives me a good solid feel that I can be confident about, but it fades too much for me for putts beyond about 20 feet. Also, when neutron plastic gets wet, it becomes really slippery. If you plan to putt with the Envy on wet days, you're going to want to make sure you have a dry towel with you. If you're looking for a good looking overstable putter for backhand drives, the Envy is an excellent choice.

I have been a big fan of MVP after purchasing an Anode putter so I was really excited to hear that they were finally going to offer colors and some tweaked molds of existing MVP discs. My disc is white neutron plastic with an orange rim, 166g, with a rainbow slick stamp. The stamps on these are a very cool design as well. Just as I expected, the feel of the rim was just about the same as my Anodes. The feel of the plastic on the rim and flight plate also feels the same as all my other MVP's. Just as I usually do, when I get a new disc I try to use that disc for all or most of a round or two to get a really good feel for it. From the first throw off the tee, it was a familiar feel. I did notice right away that with a flat release, it goes straighter for longer with less fade than my Anodes. And as expected, it is very responsive to disc angle. I have been struggling with throwing anhyzers, and just started to be able to throw them with better consistency, and I had no trouble getting this disc flying anny. Putting seemed easier. I have been toying around with my putting form and release, and this disc seems to work well with it. I am sinking putts from further away, and able to get a more flat flight. I had a tendency to be putting with hyzer, and not being very consistent. Now that problem is solved and I'm seeing nice flat stable putts banging into the chains. This doesn't have a bead, which I really like as well. This disc went into my bag immediately. For the colder weather I actually took out my Anodes in favor of softer discs, but after throwing this one, it had to go in. I would recommend this disc to anyone! It's great for everything, putting, approaching, driving!

The Neutron Envy is awesome! it's been a game changer for me it's great off the teepad as a driving putter or midrange upshot putter, wind putter, flex putter, side arm putter you name it. In hand it reminds me of a Judge but better plastic and more overstable, has a nice bead to it, it's also a shallow rim putter like a Innova XD. Those who throw the Zone might also appreciate this. I'll be looking forward to trying out the rest of the Axiom line soon.

I've tried playing putter only rounds before to improve my form with an Ion and a Wizard. This was incredibly frustrating, because when I threw a putter at full power, it fluttered and died hard to the right (RHBH). I couldn't make a putter go straight at full power even with a huge hyzer release. All of them just went right. The furthest throw I had logged on GPS with a putter before today was 207' with an Ion. Today I took my new Envy out, and the first drive I had with it was 303' on GPS. WHAT? Must have been a fluke. I drove it 5 more times, all landing within the vicinity of 275-325. I attribute the extra distance I got from the Envy to the compact height. In a power grip, this thing feels purely awesome. Since it has such a low profile compared to any other putter I've used, I think my release is much cleaner and doesn't develop any OAT. The flight is pretty overstable. It has a big fade at the end when driving (for a putter), with very minimal high speed turn. When putting, I had to aim a little further to the right of the basket than with my RFF Wizards (which I think will remain my putting putter) to make the Envy drop in. This disc is simply a joy to throw. It is my favorite putter by a long shot, and probably my new favorite disc. This thing is going to see a lot of drives off the tee. Buy it, you WILL NOT regret it.

I just got mine in the mail today (2-3-14) and so far I really like it for approach shots that need a fade finish. It has a very low profile which fits my hand well for putting also, although I doubt that it will take the place of my MVP Ion's for putting. I feel like it sits right between the Rhyno and the Pig as far as stability and flight path. I'm loving it!
