Aerobie first appeared on the radar when they released their unique flying ring. They continue to amaze with the unusual style found in their disc, the Arrow. “It Flies Straight As An Arrow!” is what the packaging claims. With Aerobie’s “spoiler” design, the Arrow is a new experience with disc golf putters. If you struggle with a traditional putter, this option may be your best answer. Currently, the Arrow is available in Aerobie’s only standard plastic. The disc is a slightly overstable putter with low speed, zero fade and a turn rating of 1. (In disc rating format, this disc is 1/2/0/1).

I have to update my review after using for a season.

I'm not big on carrying a lot of discs with me, no more than 4 at a time, so I end up really learning a disc well over the course of a season.

The Arrow has proven itself to me, in so many situations, in so many ways. It is soooo consistent and reliable, the plastic is indestructible. I use it for everything 200 and in, unless I need a big hyzer. It sticks to the ground better than any other disc I've used. As a forehand guy, I can power it over for holes that need a shot shape the other direction, but never lose it because of it's insane stability. The stability is like nothing I've ever experienced, it doesn't like moving left or right, and resists it. You have to force it over one direction or the other, so there is a forgiveness to the disc.

I can't really do it justice in a review. If you are looking for something different for your approach game, particularly something reliable that sticks to the ground... I haven't found anything better. I love the Arrow.

It's a stable putter, but it feels terrible in hand. If feels like the kind of putter that could take a decent amount of power, but I didn't want to hold it long enough to try. I never once felt confident that this disc was gonna find chains, even after it did, I was still left with a lingering suspicion that it was a trick. I would recommend this disc to someone who has no other option, and only has this disc to play a round with. It is definitely better than not playing, but if you're gonna play more than once, find something else.

I think this is a disc made for a certain type of thrower. If you have a "torque-y" forehand and need a straight flyer that is hard to flip, this is it. I haven't found a disc yet that does what this disc does. It glides much more for me than the advertised "2". Also the weight is 165, so it goes a bit farther on putts for me than other, heavier putters.

The plastic reminds me a bit of Innova Champ, but grippier and it floats on water.

An overstable putter. However, unlike any other putter that I know of, beside the sharpshooter #3, this disc is heavy, overstable, and floats in water, just don't purchase brown...not fun to find in the brown water or in brown leaves. All the Aerobie I can put upside down, push to the bottom of the lake, and sure enough they pop right back up. If I have to throw around water, I see if the line will favor an Aerobie. Also, the plastic does beat up easily, however, no matter how beat up mine get, they continue to be overstable. I have had mine since they came out, and they continue to fly the way I first threw them. An added plus, PDGA approved!  I have gotten the most ridiculous birdies with my arrow, it holds the line very well, and I have only ever had to buy one. The spoiler rim also makes it amazing for upwind approaches. No matter how beat up mine gets, it steams right through the wind and plants itself. It also doesn't roll as well as other discs, and when upside down, it doesn't slide away. It does have a shallow rim, but it has saved my card more times than I can count, and my favorite memories are with my arrow.

Bizarre disc. I thought it was normal however for the better part of a year after buying it as part of an aerobie starter pack prior to playing my first golf round. It was, to be fair, a loyal servant. It's a little like throwing a garbage can lid. If a garbage can lid was a dead straight flyer that could cut through pine trees. I used to keep it in my bag just for shots through trees, but there are far better putters and the Colt replaced it for that special function. So now it's back to being a trash can lid, albeit a fondly remembered one.

This is really an interesting disc. Plastic is somewhat grippy, yet not really flexible, and still durable.

Though this is probably one of the most difficult discs to really grip or putt with. But if you power grip this disc and use it for short controlled drive that you dont want to sail past the basket, this thing is money. You can ripinto this disc as hard as you want, even in some wind, and it just so incredibly stable, not a whole lot of fade, but that inverted wing obviously just resists everything.

Cool approach disc, other than that it doesnt have any other real use.
