The AGL Discs Manzanita is a stable to slightly over-stable putt and approach disc with a beadless rim, featuring a shallow thumb track. The Manzanita is a go to disc for some headwind putts, for hitting those tight forehand approach shots, and for those backhand shots which require a predictable fade. Featuring flight numbers of 3/3/0/2 the Manzanita is very torque resistant, and we would say “the most stable of the AGL putters”. Need a long C2 putt? Maybe a long hyzer shot into a protected pin? Do you have a tricky long headwind putt? Just reach for the Manzanita and take your game Above Ground Level.

The hemp manzanita is for sure an overstable approach disc. The hemp plastic feels amazing in the hand and has a ton of grip. The disc overall feels nice, the thumb track is not obnoxious for me and the rim depth isn't too deep to feel uncomfortable. I honestly was surprised with this disc and how overstable it was straight out of the box, but still it flies really nice for an approach disc. I think it has less glide than 3 and wants to fight to the ground quickly. You can really rip on this disc with no worries about it turning over. Would not recommend putting with this, its overstability and lack of glide will make it hard to use for typical putting. It will shine as an approach and throwing putter for many players. I would not recomend this disc to new players right away because they will not understand exactly how to throw it well, but players that understand stability and how to throw different shots will absolutely love this disc. It is a perfect zone, harp, pig type approach disc that makes AGL's lineup super solid.
