The AGL Discs Madrone is a straight flying, neutral to slightly stable, putt and approach disc golf disc with a micro-bead and a shallow thumb track. These features make this disc comfortable in the hand and give it a smooth flight with a subtle right to left finish for right handed throwers. Sporting flight numbers of 3/3/0/1 this putter has become a staple in people’s bags. This disc is torque resistant and can really handle full power off the tee for those shots where you NEED a putter, off the tee. Whether shooting approach shots or sinking those important putts the Madrone will give you the confidence you need to perform Above Ground Level.

One of the best discs I've found for near impossible short recovery lines. The short distance needed for this disc to fade fully seems unreal. Putting with nasty hyzer lines and forehands on a putter have never felt so good!

The madrone is a great straight flying disc in the AGL lineup. It pairs really well with its compliment that is the manzanita and has a very true straight flight. The disc has a bead but I would classify it more as a microbead that you really won't notice. I did not fall in love with this disc as a putter but I know it is a great option if you like the disc feel. I think the madrone shines more as a throwing putter because it can hold up to some power and not turn and burn. It will hold dead straight almost the entire flight before a slow fade. For beginner players they will find the madrone to be a straight flier that can fight out right when they need it to. It can be used for teeshots, approaches, and putting and does each thing quite well.

Incredible stable to overstable putter! The subtle thumb groove on the flight plate creates a comfortable, repeatable grip and this disc loves to bang chains! Alpine Hemp plastic is my favorite to putt with, as it grips chains and wont bounce out. I put my Wizard on the shelf and now exclusively putt with my Madrone! Its a good thrower too, since it has consistent fade and glide.

This disc has a very straight flight but does finish well. I am able to flex this disc through tight lines and it will give me that S flight path. A bit faster than other discs with the same rating. It has a micro bead but I don't really notice it when throwing.
