The AGL Discs Cedar is an overstable distance driver which came onto the scene in March of 2020. The Cedar was molded to replace our very first disc, the now out of production Cypress distance driver. The Cedar is perfect for forehands or for really cranking on your shot with a big anhyzer because it can handle big arm speed, or headwinds. With flight numbers which rate at 11/5/0/3 this disc is long, but predictable. The Cedar is the flagship driver in the AGL lineup, but it is one that can be relied upon. Those who remember the Cypress will find that the Cedar fits nicely into the hole left in the bag when the Cypress went out of production. Take your distance game Above Ground Level and bag your Cedar today.

    Alpine Details

Alpine is a premium plastic blend from Above Ground Level, engineered for maximum durability and long-term performance. It is typically made with 20 to 40 percent regrind from Innova’s Champion Plastic, resulting in a tough, resilient material that can handle repeated use and harsh conditions. Alpine offers a slicker, more rigid feel compared to other AGL blends, making it a strong choice for players who prioritize longevity.

Flies like a shorter force. Very stiff and shallow rim, skippy and cuts through wind no problem. Flat and feels fast in the hand, not so much out of the hand. It doesn't quite feel good on release and I have issues gripping onto the disc properly or getting my releases clean. Not the worst disc but wouldn't buy again when there are raptors, Firebirds, forces etc.

This disc is a must if you like AGL discs!! For reference I typically throw about 400 to 420. This goes about 375 to 390 straight to fade. Think force, destroyer, defender.

Overstable. I don't even know what else to say about it. This thing flies like its wing is full of lead. If you need a reliable OS high speed driver you want a Cedar.

The cedar is the definition of beef in my eyes. If you are someone that does not have a pro level arm (talking like 550+ ft) you will find this thing to be hyzering out almost instantly. The cedar is a true utility disc for almost all skill levels. I like my cedar for shots I need to fade really fast or something I can throw a vertical hyzer and it spike almost straight down. The cedar will become very useable if you can beat one up and get it nice and seasoned. It never completely loses the beefy finish but I find that it will actually fly and I can use it for shorter big hyzers that I want a nice skip with. This disc will be something any avid disc golfer can use for a utility disc and one you keep in your bag for the treacherous shots. The hand feel is a lot shallower than most distance drivers which I really enjoy but know some people find it too shallow to get a good grip. Think a slightly faster firebird when you look at getting this disc.

I have this disc at 172g. It is a meat hook. Do I have a pro arm? No, certainly not. But usually I'm good for 350'+. This one starts to die at about 200'. For comparison, this disc has similar numbers to the Discmania PDX, Axiom Thrill, and at speed 12: Discraft Force & Punisher, Latitude 64 Recoil, RPM Kotare, Prodigy D1, and Prodiscus Razeri. I have thrown them all. The Cedar is more overstable than all of these. I urge beginners, and even intermediates, to stay away from this disc.

An overstable distance driver. Really good for bh-hyzer, overhand/tomahawks, and forehands.

The Cedar from AGL is one of the new staples of the lineup. This is definitely on the numbers, being ideal for a forehand power shot or some of the most reliable backhand lines for a consistent hyzer shot.

Those with big arms will like this disc as it has a nice gentle turn at speed with a reliable turn back, and forehand/overhand throwers will enjoy tthe trust and snap they can put on it.

Those with less power may have difficulty with this disc for distance, but can use it as a reliable beefy hyzer if getting it up to speed proves challenging.
