The Mission is a straight flying midrange option from ABC Discs. In the hand, the Mission is very comfortable, and the Gold Plastic is similar to other premium plastics like Champion. It has held up fine as far as durability goes for me. This thing is straight right out of the box. Thrown flat, you will not see this disc move much laterally, it just glides straight. It really holds any line you put it on well at 70% or lower power. When I really put something on it, it would flip up to flat, or flat to turn. This could be a very versatile disc for a player, but I would have something stable to pair with it in the wind.

Initially I didn't like the Mission. I have a Platinum Mission and it seemed too flimsy and cheap. I think part of my judgement came from the excess mold plastic around the outer rim as described in the review below. And, I just assumed that this disc would be taken away by the slightest gust of wind (perhaps because the first few times I tried using it it was really windy). Then six months or so later I put my personally autographed mission in my bag, started playing rounds with it, and now I love this disc. This disc just goes dead straight for me, and when I get enough snap on my throws doesn't fade at all at the end of the flight. It's fantastic for straight line tunnel shots, and has really good glide to it. I can't say it's any better than discs like the Fuse, Tangent, or Meteor, but now that I'm used to it, it's the disc that's holding the straight flying mid spot in my bag.
