I got this because I needed an overstable glow in my bag. Very reliable and can be a really nice approach disc with a slow shot. I think it would be a bit too beefy for beginners but overall a really nice disc.

This disc is excellent. The roc and teebird comparisons are on point. Id say it feels like a domey teebird but the flight characteristics are very close to how my dx and kc pro rocs flew just longer. Ive started throwing putters where I used to use mids, and ive thrown this and a kaxe z in the bag to make up the space between my putters and my teebirds. I can get my teebirds about 50 feet further than these so they haven't quite kicked my teebirds out yet. Overall very impressed with the kaxe.

This disc is a slightly longer than normal overstable midrange. Its reliable in the wind and works pretty well for forehand flex lines. The K1 glow plastic feels great in the hand and glows forever.

I neglected my mids because my FD did so much for me.  I wanted some Kastaplast without overlap in my bag and the Kaxe fit that description.  The Kaxe has become a useful disc to throw at full power.  More control than a driver and less damage from the mistakes.  After playing a few rounds on a short course I really learned to enjoy this disc and it is a staple in my bag for those shots around 200 feet.  The Kastaplast reputation in K1 Glow plastic is verified.  My disc was glowing right out of the mailer and Kastaplast is know as the best performing glow plastic in the industry.
