The Eye is a straight-flying midrange designed to fit into anyone's bag. For the advanced player and those who can throw hard, this will result in a slightly understable disc. For a beginner or intermediate player with lower arm speed, this will be a stable disc that can hold most lines.

At GBO, I played on a card with one of the founders of Storm Discs and thought I'd support them by buying some plastic at the Block Party.  Honestly, didn't really think I'd ever really bag any of it, as my bag is pretty set and I thought I had all the slots covered.  However, the Eye felt really great in the hand (low profile with a smooth lip that feels great) so I decided to throw it....

I've been playing disc golf for 17 years and this might be the most unique disc I've ever thrown.  I've never thrown another mid that is quite like it.  I expected it to be pretty flippy, but when I threw it flat/slight hyzer at basically full power, it just went straight and WENT and WENT and WENT.  The glide on this disc is insane.

It holds up to power very well, and will hold basically any line you put it on.  I can throw this thing as far or further than my fairways (and quite a bit further than my eMac) and the whole time it's just on a rope.

Regardless of your skill level or arm speed, if you want a straight flying, reliable mid with enough glide to go a lot farther than you think it could.

A tournament at a local park near me set-up a disc tent. Looking through their inventory I found this disc after it's stamp caught my eye. I loved the feel of it and thought it would go nicely in my bag. As a beginner I was looking to add some lower speed discs to my bag and thought this would be a good addition. It was worth every penny and I use this disc every round I play, very easy to get this disc to work with you.

I absolutely love the predictability of this disc. I really like the low profile for a cleaner release and this disc will hold pretty much any line I put on it.

This is a very serviceable mid-range disc for about any skill level. I am a fan of the low profile rim, which I prefer over a deep rim on mid-range discs. That comfortable rim helps the disc to release smoothly from my grip. It flies very straight when given a little bit of heat, but still fades smoothly at the end. I would actually give it a little more fade than turn, but I like that in a mid-range. I'd say that the flight is quite a bit like the Buzzz, and who could complain about that? Great job, Storm!

The Eye is an awesome point and shoot midrange. This disc just goes on whatever line you put it on. It feels very comfortable in the hand. Honestly it feels pretty close to the Infinite Discs Anubis. For me this is a touch shot disc, I typically throw it at half power and just finesse it where it needs to go. It'll hold an anhyzer or a hyzer line to the ground.

I really enjoyed this mid and it's versatility. Overall it's a bit understable, so if you throw it too hard it will turn over and could end up bad, so keep it straight and power down a little bit and it'll go right where you want it to.

I really like the Eye. I thought it is more untestable than the flight ratings indicate (which I like) that makes it excellent disc for low power touch shots. While playing a tester round with Dylan, on a 200 foot hole I told him, "The eye is going to ace this hole" I threw it perfectly straight, slightly turned to the right, right towards the basket and.... hit the tray. It was really close though. Almost acing always helps discs get high ratings.

If you like small brands and are looking for a straight easy to throw mid, the Eye is a solid choice.

I got to try out the Eye at a 3 disc challenge shortly after the first run of prototypes. It ended up being my go-to for 90% of non-putting shots. This thing will hold any line you put it on with laser-like precision, and is just a dream to throw. It definitely found a place in my bag.

My only con is the plastic. I realize it is a prototype run so the plastic isn't the best. There were some gravelly fairways on the course I threw the Eye on and it got a little bit of wear and tear over the course of two rounds. That being said, it didn't affect flight performance much at all from what I could tell. I'm looking forward to seeing this mold in a more premium plastic.
