The Dynamic Discs Prime Starter Set includes three great discs in inexpensive P
The Divergent Discs 3-disc starter set is designed specifically for new disc golf players or existing players with slower arm speed. The discs are easy to throw with a basic putter called the Narwhal, a basic mid-range called the Leviathan, and a driver called the Kraken that can handle a little more power while beginners learn to combine distance with accuracy. The discs come in quality plastic and last longer than many other beginner sets on the market.
NOTE: Disc colors and weights will vary.

These discs definitely outperform their cost. I expected the usual soft plastics and base quality starter discs, but each one of these was super solid. As a whole, the set is pretty understable. The Kraken would flip pretty easily when thrown flat, but on a hyzerflip it carried itself so far. It would be great for anybody just starting their disc golf game. The Leviathan midrange surprised me with it's glide. I flipped it up just like the Kraken, but it just kept flying and actually ended up farther than the driver. The Narwhal might be one of my new favorite putters, it's downright fun to throw. It's so floaty with very slight fade, you can just toss it up and watch it all the way to the chains. Great disc pack!
This is a great beginner starter set! The discs in these are incredibly easy to throw, and have fun with. The divergent plastic is my preferred base plastic out there, but maybe not for a putter plastic. . .
The Kraken, this is a great fairway driver. Its easy to throw, get some good distance. I found that it is a pretty stable, a neutral driver. However, as time progressed, I easily saw it flipping more than it had. Which now makes it a great hyzerflip disc.
The Leviathan is definitely the most understable of the three. Making it really easy to throw and get decent distance. As time progressed I have enjoyed this disc as a roller. It just works so well as one, I like it a lot. It is still in my bag at the moment.
The Narwhal is a good driving putter and an alright putting putter. I think this is excellent for a beginner set. As learning to throw putters well makes a massive difference in your game over time. I really liked this as a jump putt disc also. It has some pretty great glide to it, making it easy to get it to got the distance. I don't mind it as a putting putter, just because it isn't the most comfortable for my grip.
Overall, I really enjoy the discs within this starter set. It is a great bang for the buck. And I'd definitley recommend this set to any beginner.
This is an absolutely fantastic disc golf set for beginners. The thing that makes the Divergent Discs set stand out among the competition is the superior plastic.
All three discs come in a super gummy plastic that feels really similar to Kastaplast plastic, although it doesn't seem to be as durable.
I almost gave this set a 4 star review because I don't love the Narwhal for putting. It's a really domey putter which just isn't my thing as I prefer putters with relatively flat tops. I still gave the set five stars because the Narwhal is a fantastic approach shot disc that I'm a big fan of because it just stays straight at low power.
The Leviathan is perhaps the best midrange in disc golf for kids and true beginners. This disc is super understable which allows it to stay straight for new players and often provides them with more distance than drivers. I'm an advanced player, but find special uses for the Leviathan when I have an uphill shot that I still want to be able to Hyzer flip.
The Kraken is a solid beginner driver. I love the feel of the plastic. Initially it had some stability to it, but now after some usage it's really understable. This is quite domey for a driver and glides really far.
If you want a low cost disc golf set with plastic better than base, choose the Divergent Discs set.
Strongly recommend this Starter Set to newbies. The plastic is a higher quality than you will find in other sets. The Leviathon fits like a glove. The Kraken is akin to a Leopard/Leopard 3.
I think for $16 bucks, this is an awesome starter set. The Driver will fly very similar to the Innova Leapord. The midrange is pretty understable - it has like -4 turn. The putter has quite a bit of dome on it, but throws super straight. The plastic feels durable and pretty grippy.
I played a full round just using these discs if you want to see them fly.
