Basic Information
| Biography: | Hello, My name is Marquis Chapman and I am a professional Ultimate Frisbee player for the Tampa Bay Cannons. I discovered disc golf during Covid because the American Ultimate Disc League(AUDL) had cancelled our ultimate Frisbee season. I didn't think I would stick with it, but have been loving the sport since my very first tournament in august at the Avian Open where I placed 5th in intermediate. I mainly throw Prodigy since I know quite a few local pros that throw them, but I enjoy learning about each brand. My goal is to eventually become sponsored and compete at an even higher disc golf tier and showcase some of the quality plastic that helped me get there. until then, I have joined forces with other ultimate players and fellow players of color to spread the sport into low socioeconomic communities in and around Atlanta, GA. When I am not disc golfing, I am working through my coding boot camp to transition my life outside of employment law. | ||||||||||||||||
