Basic Information
| Biography: | I was introduced to Disc Golf in 2007 when I was stationed at a Naval base in Bangor Washington. It was a heavily wooded course and all I threw was overhand. I had one good throw that “S’d” around two trees and I was hooked. Moved back to Tucson Arizona where we have much more attackable holes. I played for years about once a month with basically a Buzzz and a putter. In 2018 I got serious and started playing several times a week, doing field work, and watching tutorials. The game became much more fun the more I could control a disc. My life has improved greatly by being outdoors more and the extra exercise and mental focus the game brings. In 2019 I joined a league and met some nice people to play with who offer good advice and are a pleasure to watch play. I try to play several tournaments a year and those are always a blast. My goals are to win a tournament in recreational and then become competitive in intermediate. I have no delusions of getting sponsored, going pro, or throwing 500 feet. I like my career and love the enjoyment I get out of the sport. | ||||||||||||||||
