Basic Information
| Biography: | I discovered disc golf in 1987 on the UC Santa Cruz object course and have promoted the sport since the very first round. My player rating topped out at 999 before an arm injury forced a prolonged break, but I have won Am and pro tournaments and ready to tour once again. In my lone sanctioned event in 2017, I won my division, grandmasters, by 10 strokes. Although I plan to play numerous events in 2018, my primary value to Infinite Discs will likely be related to other disc golf endeavors. I starred in (along with Avery, Nate, and Val) and wrote the Discmasters TV show. I run School of Disc Golf, through which I instruct and coach hundreds of players each year. I've published one book, Three Paths to Better Disc Golf, and will be touring the country promoting my 2nd, The Disc Golf Revolution (see Kickstarter), in 2018. I've served as a DeLaveaga Disc Golf Club officer, run multiple tournaments, designed and helped install multiple courses, and am already a member of the Infinite Discs Inner Circle (I think!) I also run the Play DiscGolf Facebook page (with much bigger plans for this brand), which is dedicated to sharing news of the sport's daily growth at the grassroots level. | ||||||||||||||||
