The Järn’s flight pattern makes it just as competent for touchy flex shots as for flat-out hyzers. It can handle headwinds and also provides a soid end-fade. Its low profile makes it easy to grip and to release. Järn is the Swedish word for iron.

The Jarn is an excellent OS approach disc.  The OS approach is a very popular disc type, most companies have their version and they all fly and feel a little different.  First of all the K1 Soft plastic feels amazing.  The grip is great and the soft plastic helps the disc settle on the ground instead of finishing with a big flare skip.  The plastic is gummy but not too floppy.  I was throwing a champion Toro in this slot, but I found it was not OS enough and also had pretty low glide.  The Jarn suits my game better as it flies a little bit faster and has more glide than the Toro, but also more fade at the end of its flight.  I can really lean into it on flex shots and know that it will hook up for a predictable finish.  I like that it has some flight and is not a dumpy brick, I have no problem getting this disc out 250 ft either forehand or backhand.  It is very useful off the tee and also for actual approach shots.
