The Innova Nova, a straight-flying Aviar type putter, that utilizes two different plastic blends to provide a unique flight and feel. The outer rim consists of a very soft grippy plastic that grabs the chains. The inner flight plate is firm, but tacky. This tall, two-piece putt and approach disc is described as having the high-speed stability of the Big-Bead Aviar with minimal low-speed fade. It’s the perfect finesse disc that can handle the power of “modern players”, while providing precision accuracy. The unique thing about the Innova Nova compared with other over-mold discs is that it has slits approximately one inch apart throughout the rim.

Innova's XT material is a midgrade plastic that feels similar to DX, but that is substantially more durable. This is a tough grippy blend that is popular for putters and midrange discs.

This disc is one of the first discs I added to my bag when I started playing and made some great putts/ throws with it but it will expose any flaws in your throw

I have one for throwing and one for putting. I love how this disc looks and feels. The grippy rim is nice for putts I feel it may help grip the chains too but that could be my favoritism.

My initial thoughts were along the lines of "these nubs feel weird", and it felt very deep but after getting comfortable it was one of my straightest discs. Beat in it flys a touch understable if thrown hard enough.

Just dont throw it at a tree in winter... take it from me

Laser straight and very useful. It grabs the ground and the chains very well due to its grippy rim. It is ideal for learning how to throw straight shots, and it is a great tool for learning good form since it is a slow disc. Favorite throwing putter of mine for about a decade!

Love it. Great approach that sticks to the ground. My only issue is that the overmold wears fast and mine split apart after 2-3 months of use.

My favorite and most reliable disc. When McBeth was sponsored by Innova, he said it was his favorite disc. Super predictable and dependable flight on approach shots. It does roll less and stick to ground better than any disc I've owned. I've found that a fan grip is the best way to get accuracy when throwing the Nova. I never use a power grip with this disc. The nibs on the underside have not bothered me in the least--it just makes this the most unique disc in your bag. Just absolutely love this disc!

I really wanted to love this disc but I just don't. It feels great in the hand and I like the two mold structure. I might have gotten it too light, but it doesn't fly very straight and is super sensitive to off-axis-torque. I've heard lots of people talk about using it to work out your backhand technique but even minimal power causes the disc to flip over for me way more than other discs with 0 turn and the same or less speed.

I still use it for putting practice though. Even though my Hydrogen is my putting putter and the Luna is my throwing putter or putter in the wind.

This putter is absolute money. It flies so straight. In the beginning I used it for all approach shots from 150' to70'. The outer mold on this disk absolutely grabs the ground. You don't have to worry about skips or sliding away. The only drawback is if you play heavily wooded courses, as I do,  it will Crack where the two molds meet if you put any power behind it. This flaw was really discouraging. Only after I decided to only use it for approach shots out of putting range did its value shine through. No matter what angle I put it on it holds until it hits the ground. Once it hits ground it may only go a few feet. This disc has saved me so many strokes it is Unbelievable. The one thing I can count on is if bring out the Nova there is ONLY one shot to follow. Even if they do Crack easily it is well worth the enjoyment and satisfaction This disc will bring you.

This used to be my beat putter till I switched brands. I have a natural loft style putt and this thing holds any line perfectly. The outer rim gummy/grippy material is awesome. I really does feel like it makes it a chain hawk for sure. My only reason for giving 4/5 stars is that the bottom of the disc connects weirdly. It almost feels like they used plastic screws to attach the outer gummy rim to the disc itself.

Great disc for upshots and a good learning tool. If you want to fix your form then start throwing some of these. I love this disc for anything inside about 180 feet, can throw it nice and soft and it reacts exactly how you throw it.

Buying this with my first batch of F2 discs, it's definitely an interesting-looking disc, even f2ed, and the feeling got a little getting used to. Somehow with a little bit of throwing and putting it turned into my everyday putter. I was surprisingly consistent and would normally leave me decent tap in when I missed. My biggest problem with it was roll-aways off the cage or band, and catching the rubber rim on the edge of the cadge. if that disc flips any way but rubber down, you're in for a heartbreak. I forced myself to put it down and find something normal, but in practice I still find myself being most consistent with my trusty nova.

The approaches are nice and you can get nice lofty within 150ft no problem. Basic and easy.

I didn't personally love the feel of the Nova in the hand. Innova doesn't do so well with seamlessly making the inner and outer rims like MVP does so it has visible and touchable connectors on the underside of the disc that I didn't love. That being said, the flight is excellent and reliable because it is low glide and super neutral. So for more new players this will be a great teacher to help learn angles and form. For advanced players it will reward you with great accuracy for point and shoot shots.

Definetly not a fan of this disc. I picked it up a few monthes back when i was prepping for the warmer weather, and have regretted it ever since. I thought it seemed like a good idea to get a nice grippy putter, but this was not what i expected. After the first couple wobbly tosses at the chains i figured i must have been rusty from the winter. I WAS WRONG. This thing has such a deep rim its almost impossible to hold it comfortably. Every toss is a gamble with this putter. Would NOT recommend for anyone without NBA basketball player sized hands.

This is the best disc I have found for Turbo putting and I have tried almost everything! It has an extremely grippy rim, great glide and is relatively understable after a quick breakin period.  All of these traits really help in my opinion especially when you are only really putting with a couple of fingers.  If you get serious about turbo putting you will probably realise that you need as much grip on the outer part of the rim as possible, you will also need a disc with almost no low speed.

On long shots when I Turbo it hard from 80' or more it will actually flip and go down hard at the end of it's flight so if I miss the basket it is almost always with in 10'.  It dies really fast when thrown hard from an extremely high angle.  You can tilt your elbow out a little and do an anhyzer turbo putt that goes lazer straight for about 50' or you can do a little spinning finger flick up and over big shrubs and stuff. It is very versatile for all kinds of turbo putts but is almost worthless for everything else, it is so flippy off the tee that it only goes about 40' before flipping completely over into the dirt.  I can't physically put enough hyzer on it to get it to go straight with anything even aproaching a full throw.

It is however really good at short range anyhyzer trouble shots when you need a bunch of slow glide and a flat right turn that sits down when it lands.  It grabs chains really nice and doesn't seem to roll much at all after it lands.  The glyde is unreal but it may feel a little big and bulky for push putters but I don't really know.  I Turbo almost everything unless it's super windy or there is lots of rain, both forget it!  The Nova is great and definately worth a look, even if it's not for you it is so different from anything else out there that it can be a good bench mark as an exterme case.

Saw a Factory Second Nova at the store and something just drew me to it.  The material is good:  the flight plate is semi-slick and my thumb likes it, while the overmold material feels "rubbery" to me, certainly grippy and non-slippery, and I liked that a lot.

I took it out today with my Star Aviar, both in 175g.  The Nova feels "heavier" than the Aviar, though it's not, and that's a good thing.  The Nova flew straight to the basket and I felt like I had great control all the way out to 10m, maybe more.  I slung it (the Nova) off the tee on one hole just to see how it would do.  It flew straight with a touch of fade at the end, and was comparable to mid-range discs that are not thrown hard.  The Nova is definitely my "go to" putter.

Great for go for it kind of putts since the rim often makes the disc stick to the ground. My first choice among putters.
